Gorgeous
The most beautiful hotel!!!! Impeccable service, special attention throughout the stay. Well done to the reception and breakfast teams.

Dinner at Monsieur Lancaster. Very good service from Pietro and the other servers. Quiet place and good cuisine. The terrace will be pleasant for sunny days. The room is very calm and cozy. The bar looks great too. Car service.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Everyone was super nice and accomodating. The restaurant in the hotel is outstanding and a must-try. The rooms are spacious enough with LIVE plants and very authentic with Parisian style furniture. Comfortable beds. And ladies, there is a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom! The only con: walls are thin, so bring your earplugs. We had quite a sex show in the room next to us that lasted for hours (good for them!). Otherwise, it's just a perfect boutique hotel and we do recommend it. We'll be back there in May.

I have worked and stayed in de luxe hotels all over the world. I last stayed at the Lancaster in 1987 and was very very impressed If you want swanky or flashy or glitzy do not stay here! If you want private, unostentatious, understated elegance with old world class, look no further. The porter on duty the night we arrived has stated work at the hotel in 1987 - within minutes of chatting I felt like I had never left - this is service , This is class ! Well done to all who work there and preserve that elan which now so very rare in hospitality

Be the first to ReplyA return to an old haunt that did not disappoint!
I used to visit this hotel on business and it has been ten years since the last visit. I am pleased to say that it has not only survived but has improved. There were even one or two of the old staff from before, but the hotel has been extensively refurbished. It is a small boutique hotel where they know your name from the minute you check in. The bar and, temporarily the restaurant are all in one at the moment but the restaurant area is being refurbished. Comfortable quiet rooms with all of the normal amenities. The service at the Lancaster has always been very good and it is still the case.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful hotel worst staff and management Ive ever experienced.
Its not true what they say about Parisians, they are a lovely people that welcomed us with open arms, EXCEPT at the Lancaster. Before I even got there I spent hundreds of euros for pickup at the airport, once I got there the rude staff literally discussed whether or not to upgrade me in french right in front of me (assuming I wouldnโt understand), they decided no upgrade for me. It only went downhill from there. There was food left out in the hallways for almost 2 days, and the staff just got ruder by the day. It is a lovely hotel close to everything, but I would not stay here again to be treated this way. They had a restaurant and bar and also a spa I wanted to try but I couldnโt bear giving them anymore money. Save the headache stay someplace else!

This was our second stay at the Lancaster this year. Like our first visit in April, this visit was equally as enjoyable. The hotel is a beauty, and the staff - from the doorman to the front desk to the restaurant and bar- are wonderful. They will go out of their way to make certain you have a stress free, relaxing and friendly stay. The private room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. And make sure to start your day with their lovely breakfast. The hotel is a gem. We plan on returning Spring 2024.
Be the first to ReplyRude Staff - Dingy Rooms
We attempted to stay in this hotel in April of 2023. The entire place smelled like sewage. Rather than help the situation the front desk staff was dismissive and rude. The rooms were extremely tired and the place is two doors down from a strip club. We ended up leaving the hotel without a refund for that night or the next night. When we asked why they wouldn't refund the second night they said it was after 3 PM. It was after 3 PM because we spent an hour discussing the issues with the front desk. Stay away from this hotel when in Paris. The rooms I could handle - the attitude from the front desk was unacceptable.

A 5 star hotel that is barely worth 4. Small rooms with old furniture. Not perfect cleaning. Poor breakfast: there is no buffet you have to wait for everything you choose to be served and if you are in a hurry it is not exactly the best. Not to mention the small portions and the lack of attention to detail (or I asked for an omelette and I was served scrambled eggs. I asked for salmon and I was served 5 small slices on a dessert plate) Reception staff really unpolite; I was greeted by two girls totally unsuitable for the position. The only positive note: the excellent location and the skill of the concierge service. I spent a thousand euros for one night (precisely during fashion week) for a hotel worth perhaps 300.

The Hotel Lancaster is true paradise in Paris. My adult daughter & I traveled for a Mother/Daughter vacation, and The Lancaster Team made our stay pure happiness. The hospitality at The Lancaster is what the true meaning of hospitality is! The rooms are amazing with the high ceilings, the comfortable beds & pillows, the hotel's spa products are refreshing, and the restaurant and bar fabulous. Most importantly The Lancaster team are there for YOU. Their kindness, warm smiles and knowledge of Paris of where to go & where to dine is so caring. Lastly the location speaks for itself centrally located. I cannot say enough positive reviews about The Lancaster Hotel..What hospitality should be around the world. Thank you!

This hotel is exquisite and charming. The rooms are big and airy. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I love the location and would HIGHLY recommend staying here! I've stayed in Paris many times and I can't think of a single thing I'd change about Hotel Lancaster!

This Jewel box of a Hotel is a treasure! The Staff, the Food, the complete attention to detail is perfection. Great Location, and just the perfect size. I introduced 3 friends to the property this past week for our stay and everyone said how they loved the hotel and can not wait to return. I have not been since the renovation but was so thrilled to see the gorgeous art remained and all of the new touches were just lovely.

Utterly dissatisfied! Old, unkept and uncomfortable. Nowhere near a fine hotel and the prices charged are unconscionable. We have stayed at similarly priced hotels and had a wonderful time. This hotel is at best a 3 star so the rates feel like a scam.

This is my second stay at this hotel and it is a gem. Itโs an intimate setting and the staff are knowledgeable and adept and helping guests with all their needs. I especially love the bar which is a relaxing place ti grab coffee, a drink or a snack.

Highly recommend, very good location, clean and safe. Staff are so friendly and helpful as they allow me to early checkin. Professionalism in room services and quick responses. Near to metro, Eiffel tower and lots of restaurants and cafes.

Excellent choice hotel packaged with eurostar. Location is superb especially if your purpose is only for short stay. You get all the main street action at your door step and save on intercity commuting cost.
Be the first to ReplyDivine Stay at Hotel Lancaster
After multiple stays in various hotels across the city, I am thrilled to say Iโve found my home away from home in Paris. When you walk in, after being greeted by the ever respectful doormen, the lobby and foyer area is impeccably decorated. If you arrive by car or taxi, your luggage is collected for you as you make your way to the front desk. There, the staff greet you ever so kindly, creating an incredible first impression even before you step into your room. That day, the Hotel was accommodating, and found me a room even though I arrived well before check-in time. While I patiently waited for the room to be ready, I grabbed a quick glass of champagne at the bar. The servers there are all lovely and add to the warm and welcoming hospitality. After my bubbly was done, I was escorted up to my room, a lovely executive room. It was absolutely magnificent. While the room still maintained decorative qualities of a classic Parisian townhome, the dimmable lights, modern bathroom, and widescreen TV all help assimilate the room into the present day. On my stay with Hotel Lancaster before this one, I had a classic room, which was just as lovely. Both rooms were definitely more than enough space for one or two people. The executive room was a more spacious, so couples would probably prefer the extra square footage. After requesting a Dyson hair dryer to my room (which you can do via the website after check-in), I took a shower and enveloped myself in one of the comfiest robes the hotel provides. It actually inspired me to buy a robe of my own โ similar to the Hotel Lancasterโs! While the bathroom, bedroom, and general interior are all equally stunning, the shining stars of the Hotel Lancaster are all the dedicated and hard-working staff there. Everyone aspires to and succeeds at providing legendary customer service. The concierge was always so helpful with whatever requests I needed. The front desk staff continued to remember my room number โ handing me my key each time I walked in before I could utter a word! They make the Hotel Lancaster the 5 star hotel it is today. I look forward to my future visits to Paris, simply just to stay again at Hotel Lancaster.
