Great Spa day at L'Auberge
The spa is so well appointed and relaxing. it has a fun and calming beachy vibe. my masseuse Ana was fabulous!
Be the first to ReplyNice Touch!
Charming, calming, softly elegant... a lovely spa with - the best part - wonderful masseuses, a most engaging staff. Cannot wait to visit again. Had an 80 minute massage worth every penny, and a lovely spot by the outdoor fire to relax. Ahn, Tracy & Carley make this experience one you surely will not want to miss. Thank you all, Ladies! Oh, and the mimosas were fab too :~)
Be the first to ReplyDeep Tissue with America
For a relaxing day and the best deep tissue massage you’re going to get, go see America. I could not have been more satisfied with her as my massage therapist. She worked out all the tough spots that no one has been able to before and she was certain to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was good throughout the massage while keeping it relaxing. I left having booked another massage with her.
Be the first to ReplyAhn is an amazing therapist
A friend had given me a gift certificate so I scheduled a 50-minute deep tissue massage. What a delight. Ahn was excellent. Strangely, a tip is automatically applied onto the bill, which was a bit odd as I feel tipping should be discretionary, based on one’s experience. But Ahn was worth every bit of the 28% up-charge. The spa itself is beautiful and immaculate.

I had an amazing experience at Spa L'Auberge! Mary, Dana, and Tracy were wonderful and I will absolutely be back.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Spa with beautiful amenities
I had a spa day with my friend at Spa L'Auberge and I couldn't have had a better time. I had the 50 minute "Soothing Seascape Massage" and it was pure bliss. Anh my massage therapist was so accommodating and focused on areas that I had more tension. After my massage I enjoyed a pineapple mimosa and layed out in the lounge. I then did the complimentary hair mask and showered. I highly recommend this for a fun getaway.

Wow - I received the best Swedish massage EVER at Spa L’Auberge in Del Mar. After a warm welcome (and yummy mimosa) from Carley at the front desk, I was introduced to Ana, the massage therapist. Ana is absolutely amazing! She is a kind soft-spoken women with great talent, strength and intuition. She made me feel completely relaxed and refreshed for days. I would highly recommend Spa L’Auberge and Ana.

Whether you visit or live in Del Mar, you have to stop at this beautiful, seaside spa. The facilities and amenities are fantastic and so incredibly peaceful. Ask for America, Anh or Kelly for the best massage you'll ever receive and Christee the esthetician will provide you with a thorough and relaxing facial. Tracy the spa manager will ensure your experience is everything you deserve. We will be back often!
Be the first to ReplyBest Guest Service!!!!
I'd had a rough day and needed a break. Spa Director's Dana & Tracy went out of their way to make that happen for me and worked some magic to get me in when they were otherwise fully committed. Thank you ladies for being day makers!!! I'll be back for my girls trip in September!!!
Be the first to ReplyBest Spa in North County
Best spa experience in North County. Massage therapist was attentive and used the perfect combination of aromatherapy. Amenities in the lounge and locker room areas are top of class… high end skin and hair products to use post steam/shower. You can literally go straight from a facial to dinner at Adelaide without any fuss.

Spa L'Auberge is beautiful and tranquil. I enjoyed my time there immensely, the staff is amazing especially Dana, Tracy and Carley, I felt pampered and appreciated. :-)

I am back! This is was my first spa experience since COVID and all I have to say is that I'm back! It was such a wonderful experience at La Auberge. Location is dream worthy! The staff was beyond 5 star! My treatment was perfect! Kelly was my massage therapist! Definitely schedule time to chill. Such wonderful extra touches such as a hair mask for the steam room and a beautiful chill lounge! I went with my girlfriend and we had such a wonderful day!
Be the first to ReplyKnowledgeable staff, healthy products, AAAHHHHHH!!
We got the Coastal Rejuvenation body treatment and it was such a treat! A fragrant, invigorating scrub, a mud wrap, and a deep tissue massage. The staff is very competent and able to tailor things to your preferences - I asked for a deep tissue massage, and boy, was it deep tissue! She was clearly able to go a lot gentler too. The products they use are chemical-free and pure, which enhances the experience - I can still smell the beautiful herbs in the scrub! You can use the spa facilities all day if you are getting a treatment there. The spa has a steam room, but other than that, I did not see anything else one may want to use in addition to the massage services.

What a wonderful spa and hotel. Went on a Monday with a friend and wow, we were treated to an amazing day. The staff were friendly and very skilled. We had massages, facials and pedicures. All treatments were relaxing and wonderful. You are able to take advantage of the relaxation gardens with fire pits, steam rooms and the pool area. Beautiful location, excellent cocktails at the pool bar and great food. Highly recommend!

Booking was done efficiently for spa services booked. Agent didn't offer up information as to if food could be served, hours we could utilize the spa, or amenities.
I did receive a phone confirmation call the day prior. I did have to request an e-mail confirmation. This is something they probably don't do, but the agent was gracious enough to create one for me so I could share with my group I was bringing in.
Upon arrival the property was beautiful. The spa is a nice addition to the hotel but you can see it isn't something that is heavily marketed.
Spa has a small boutique area with several good retail lines. They will escort you to the locker area that has a standard locker setup with robe and slippers. There are amenities to assist you such as hair dryers, razors, etc. There are 3 showers 1 of which is handicap accessible. There is a steam room and tranquility lounge which is very pretty. They need to remove the photo of the woman soaking in a tub. It really gives the idea that there are more amenities such as a jacuzzi. The support staff isn't in uniform which I thought was strange. So you are left to guess who works there. I requested a 50 minute deep tissue massage and my friends received a deep tissue, and a signature facial.
My therapist was professional asking if I had any areas of concern and focused on my request. My friends said that their services were good as well.
After, we did order a small bite to eat which arrived pretty quick. The lack of amenities was the most disappointing. A pool or jacuzzi would have been nice to take advantage of after our services. We drove a ways to check out this spa and were hoping to spend more time there. As a heads up the hotel is gorgeous and there are fun restaurants and shops close by so it is a great place for a vacation, but if you are going just for spa I would recommend going elsewhere.
Small, but wonderful
I booked a deep tissue massage at the spa during a business trip. At first entrance, the spa was very small, but the staff was very friendly. They took me to the locker room and it had a very hot sauna which was enjoyable. The relaxation area was small but very well appointed. The water features and the fire pit complemented the cool California air and warm sunshine. I read for around an hour before my massage. It would have been perfect if not for two loud women! Once my therapist arrived, she took me to a comfortable room. She proceeded to give me the best deep massage i have ever had! I would highly recommend this spa if you are in the area.

My lovely daughter-in-law surprised me for my birthday with a spa day. We started out with a massage. The spa, hotel and restaurant are on the ocean and it's a lovely venue.
I was disappointed in the dressing area; it was too much like high school with an open area that was congested with just two of us undressing. At sixty-three, I wasn't thrilled with baring it all, so had to take my robe into the toilet closet to change. They could improve upon it with a few separate curtained areas. We were asked to wait for a minute until someone came to get us, and it was less than a minute.
My masseuse, and I am so sorry I can't remember her name now, was lovely and patient. I'd had an awful experience with a boney fingered gal at another spa once, so this woman was very gentle and the experience was relaxing. The music was wonderful; it was called Polynesian Spa. I felt transported. It was very spiritual.
My daughter-in-law bought me a gift at the spa shop and told the clerk it was a gift for me, so when I got home and found the receipt for the spa treatment and the gift in the gift bag, I was shocked at the price. So a little thing like being careful about the receipt could have made this a five star experience.
Relaxing
Liked the steam room and out door lounge area. The tea was delicious. Massage great! Would have liked more magazines to choose from in the lounge area, recommend you bring one one a book if you plan to linger.the gift shop has some nice things.
Be the first to ReplyGem of a Day Spa but with One Problem...
As the other reviewer wrote, this is an attractive, SoCal surf-themed day spa at the gorgeous L'Auberge Del Mar hotel. Although I live less than 10 miles away, I had never ventured onto the property itself. The hotel grounds are compact but beautiful, with spectacular vistas of the ocean. The spa is situated in a separate petite building adjacent to the main hotel. I had booked a package consisting of a massage, facial, and lunch at one of the two hotel restaurants. My providers were excellent: I received the painful-but-oh-so-good-for-you deep tissue massage I had requested and my facial was lovely. After an enjoyable al fresco lunch overlooking the Pacific, I headed to the small but lovely pool area (added bonus: non-hotel spa guests are allowed to use the pool facilities). I spent the afternoon getting my tan on, while being attentively waited on by the pool staff (the Bikini Rita is yummy!). My ONLY complaint was that by the time I returned back to the spa to shower and dress (4-ish pm), it was filled with a small group of non-hotel guest, non-spa guest women and teenagers who were using the facility to prep and dress for a wedding they were attending at the hotel. They were loud, obnoxious, and inconsiderate (they usurped all of the counter space and small dressing area with their crates of makeup and trashy dresses). It really took away from the relaxed vibe I had going and that one expects from a not-inexpensive spa day. I did discuss this with the attendant who settled my bill for the day, but I am doubtful that they will implement any sort of policy to ban these spa-crashers. It's too bad because it definitely diminished the overall experience.

Tucked in the lovely L'Auberge lies a cool small uh little (yes I do mean little) Spa. The facilities are decorated more like Sephora went surfing and the amenities are limited but excellent. I love the Spa Specials but they don't neccesarily keep that info up to date online. Treatments are high quality and there is some serious talent on board. Perfect location for solo spazz
