Not good
Best way I can put this is avoid this place. Management is inattentive, servers are pompous, rude, and do not listen. My New York steak was only warm at best. There are so many great restaurants in Palm Beach. Sadly, this is not one of them.
Be the first to ReplyPalm Beach fine dining
I did not find the restaurant pretentious as others have said. This is a beautiful restaurant with lovely covered outdoor seating and attentive service. All the food we had was very high quality. Loved the shrimp and foi gras appetizers and the veal, brick chicken and bouillabaisse entrees were all well done. The bouillabaisse was such a rich lobster base with a variety of fish and shellfish. And to top it off the profiteroles were delicious! Yes, this is an expensive restaurant but honestly so many restaurants are these days that it didnโt seem that extreme given this is a fine dining establishment.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth it โฆ :(
Beautiful spot, great attentive stuff , food is surprisingly mediocre Both appetizer and main course came with simple French fries, chicken was on the dry side (Cajun stile signature dish)
Be the first to Replynot happy at all
It really is a fabulous place, the surroundings, and the Restaurant itself, the food, was okayish, nothing more, which was a huge disappointment after what our hotel had told us, I ordered a bottle of Champagne, and then a glass of Red wine Coravin GL, at USD 42.- it should be good, but it was warm, when I told our waiter that ther really isnt anything worse than warm red wine, he offered to chill the glass for me... LOL, well that will certainly chill the glass, but not the expensive redwine there is inside it, so completely lack of knowledge there, which very much was the general level at this place
Be the first to ReplyDelicious meal but pretentious
The food is very good but the crowd is extremely pretentious. Hostess is snobby and examines you before entry.
Be the first to ReplyLe Bilboquet Palm Beach Romantic & Noteworthy
The service is exceptional from the moment we walked into the restaurant. We were so impressed with the quality of the food every bite better then the next. The ambience is so romantic a perfect place to celebrate our 17 wedding anniversary!
Be the first to ReplySave your money - Mediocre food and aloof atmosphere
The restaurant itself is very pretty - inside and out. Our server was very nice, but was overwhelmed with too many tables. We ordered $26 champagne cocktails which were flat. We had to remind him twice to fix the drinks. We tried to order appetizers, and were told we would need to order all food at the same time - including our entrees. We were quickly served our entrees, and never received our first course. The server admitted he had forgotten to place the order for the appetizers. The food was mediocre at best. My veal had no flavor, the mashed potatoes were bland and barely warm. The special was a basic fettuccine with crab meat and pesto sauce - nothing special. By this point in our quick meal we were very frustrated and I excused myself to see a manager. The younger manager was kindly listening, when another manager interrupted and told me to go back to my seat and was very offended that I would complain. Interestingly, I ran into a friend the next day who said they had also had a bad experience with the food and service as they had dined at Le Bilboquet that same evening. Hopefully it was an off night. Nonetheless I would not recommend the restaurant. The prices are very high for quality, and the energy is tense and aloof. For French food on the island we will stick with La Goulue.
Be the first to ReplyYummmmm
The food is just as good as NYC and the service was beyond perfect. The banquets were beautiful and comfy, sexie lighting and waiters .
Be the first to ReplyFelt rushed and unwelcome
We were shocked to see cheapest bottle of wine was about $120. We were asked to order our dinner 4 times even though the place was not full. We felt rushed. It was not a fun experience.
Be the first to ReplyOver hyped
After hearing all the hype, we finally made a reservation. Let's start with less than welcoming as you enter. The waiter was fine, although instead of giving us a wine menu, we said what would you like? Be careful when saying "red". it was $50 a glass LOL Less than attentive staff, and the food is better elsewhere. Not that it isn't good food, but it's not the best PB has to offer. It is definitely resting on some reputation in New York as an "IT" place to dine. For me, it's a one and done.
Be the first to ReplyHow about a dress code for the staff?
There is a strict dress code for the customers, however the staff is poorly put together, unsophisticated, and unattractive! For the money it cost to dine we expected more "pampering" from the staff. They were calling us "You guys" grabbing the food off the table without us being finished. A place like that needs to invest in better quality servers! Will not go back!
Be the first to ReplyArrogant manager Darko ruins experience
Extremely unpleasant experience with assistance manager Darko. He is rude, condescending unprofessional and was insulting to my wife and I. We asked for a different table and proposed four available tables. Darko told us if we donโt like the table he offered we can leave - which we did only to be stopped by Demi the receptionist who was helpful and professional - thank you! An hour and half later three out of the four tables we asked for were still available. The food is good but pricy, the staff except Darko is professional and accommodating. I have been to La Bilboquet a dozen times and will not return on a day Darko is working there! Shockingly, Darko looked up my reservation info on Resy and called a day later. He did not offer an apologize but instead called me an M FUXXER. Wow. ! Lets hope the owner reads this post.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely Loved This Place!
We were lucky enough to get a table late in the Evening without a reservation. It was a miracle! The service and food were spectacular. We loved the signature dessert Le Vacherin. The place is well known for celebrity sightings and a hip fun crowd. This wonderful evening was no exception. Make your reservations early to get a table!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful setting, service and food
This new restaurant is located in one of the best parts the Worth Ave. Ambiance was very good and the service was very friendly and professional. Food was delicious. Will certainly go there again.
Be the first to ReplyIf you are not a โregularโ โฆgood luck !
Not our first visit, but certainly our last . Notwithstanding nice food and a good vibe, being made to feel like a second hand citizen just ruins the evening. An early reso with an outside terrasse request turns out to be be an inside cramped banquet because the nice , requested , tables are saved for โregularsโ โฆI guess their money is better than ours. And Covid avoidance is for them, only. oh ..and donโt order bread unless you have lots of time ..it seems they have difficulty keeping up with orders of โฆ.bread!
Be the first to ReplyPerfect setting for Palm Beach's 'nouveau riche'
Pretentious, snobby , pricey and the food doesn't come close to anything that is within walking distance of it.
The new Palm Beach guy's love to go see and be seen...and are willing to pay the price, but if you want good food to go along with great service, go somewhere else...
Unlike their NYC spot which I go to every time i'm in Manhattan, I will not be going back to this one...
THE GARDEN OF THE FIZI CONTINIS
Four of us outside. Lovely. I had creamed spinach as an appetizer then steak tartare. Yummy. Service was great. Dale loved what she had for dinner but sensed that the crowd was a bit "much"............I didn't have that feeling. I'd come back. Dale, maybe.

Be the first to ReplyDinner at Bilboquet
I was transported to the South of France! Fabulous food, great ambiance, like nothing usually experienced in Palm Beach! Food was exquisite. Took a French foodie who was super impressed
Be the first to ReplyLively time and great food in Palm Beach
I really like the NYC location so was eager to try Le Bilboquet in Palm Beach. I was not disappointed. I'm not sure if it was the time of year or day of the week but there was a certain livelier feel to the Palm Beach venue. It is a wide open space and I liked the arrangement of seating etc.
Service was excellent and attentive and prices were reasonable especially when you consider the town. I enjoyed the foie gras and also there was a terrific wine list. Everyone seemed to be having a good time there. Even the cauliflower steak was good
Great Ambiance
Excellent service, very attentive staff, fantastic food. Loved the Cajun Chicken Special. Great atmosphere. A great addition to Palm Beach dining.
Having read some of the previous reviews I think they were eating in a different restaurant.
Socially ambitious atmosphere with mediocre food
This Worth Avenue newcomer is highlighted in the current issue of Palm Beach magazine, and for good reason. The location is prime, the setting is beautiful, and the festive atmosphere is enhanced by lovely holiday decorations. But the food is at best mediocre, while prices are sky high.
On a recent visit, we were shocked to find that a basket of bread costs $6. I have never before been charged for bread at a restaurant. The price for the house salad is $19, and while the lemony dressing is flavorful, the salad consists mainly of lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes.
My companion's main course was a delicious cheese assortment which at $34 was no bargain. I had moules frites, which at the same price could have been much better. While the fries were delicious, the mussels were nearly inedible, prepared as they were with bits of tomato.
Given the stratospheric prices and uneven quality, I do not think that I will go again -- there are too many nearby competitors with more to offer.
