Le cabaret Shibuya City Reviews from The Last Year
I found out about Can Can while taking a Pike Place Foodie
I found out about Can Can while taking a Pike Place Foodie tour last year. I was shocked to have not heard of them earlier. My best friend and I went to see "Dolly" tonight and the entire production was flawless. The performer who played Dolly had a great voice, a strong stage presence, and was the perfect person to play Dolly. The performer who played "Burnie" was equally amazing. We talked before the show before he was in costume, and he laid down the ground rules (no photography, no touching) and gave us a run down of what to expect. He was quite entertaining and did a great job involving super funny guy from the crowd. Melissa was our server and she did a fantastic job and offered good suggestions. My bestie and I shared the Burrata (VERY good but a little hard to share), the chicken kababs (which to our delight also came with two veggie kabobs) and the Mac & cheese gnocchi. Everything was super high quality and absolutely delicious. We also had the salted caramel and the Nutella beignets to finish - because of course. I'd also like to mention that their ginger beer is probably the best I've had. The performers and the staff do a phenomenal job here. It's an intimate space, and there's comedy, singing, dancing, a few props... 10/10 recommend!! And being some cash at the end for tipping the performers! Enter off Pine Street - at the end of Post Alley and across the street from Beecher's and Inn at the Market. Park at the Pike Place garage for $8 in the evening, and you'll be within a three minute walk and your car will be safe and secure. You can expect to see some buns and side boob, but everything is very tasteful. This is not a male revue or a strip club. Some of these other reviews have me scratching my head. It's burlesque, and there's a big difference. Thanks, Can Can! I'm a local and can't wait to come back!

I loved the girly atmosphere of this place! Pink and sparkly, I loved it. My drink was pink and sparkly too, and delicious. We would love to come back and catch the show there.
I've been wanting to see the Dolly show since it was
I've been wanting to see the Dolly show since it was announced and my boyfriend surprised me with the celebration tickets for my birthday! It was our first time going to a live performance/show and we were a little nervous at first, but everyone was very nice there. The show was incredible and was everything I dreamed of and more. I had no idea that I was going to be brought up on stage (this comes with the celebration package) and it was magical... The singing, dancing and acting was amazing! I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved this show! We are so excited to go to more Can Can performances and have email notifications on for when the next one is announced. Thank you for such an amazing show and experience!
Absolutely fantastic experience from booking tickets, to
Absolutely fantastic experience from booking tickets, to our food, to the show, to the amazing talent, and efficient employees. Everything about our date night was perfection. We saw "Noir". Neither of us have been to a burlesque show before so we didn't really know what to expect. We arrived a little early and had already ate dinner at a nearby restaurant so we had dessert and coffee. It was very delicious. We were sat a the railing, which turned out to be the best possible seating. We saw everything on stage and occasionally right in front of us. What a sight! Gorgeous girls and guys with amazing talent. The show was funny, showcased serious talent, fun dance numbers, sexiness, and overall excellent entertainment. The gals were topless but had pasties on and honestly it was very tasteful and not raunchy. The guys butts were exposed at times but it was done in a tasteful and sexy way. This is not a seedy place rather it showcased trained and talented dancers with nice bodies in fun numbers. If you are prude, you probably won't like this place but if you are a fun and easy going person, this is your place. The theater is fantastic and had great ambiance. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. The people next to us ordered food and it looked AMAZING. Next time we will eat there. The prices were on the high end but to be expected at a theater in a major city. We will absolutely be back for the next show.
Updated review.
. It's been a year or two since I've been to a show at Can Can. My friend and I went to see Dolly last night. We both had a ton of fun and the dancers are so talented. My updated review is based on the food. Both of us ordered the filet mignon for $48. The food came out cold, and lacked flavor. We both were disappointed with it, especially for the cost. Certainly could've used some salt at least, but there aren't salt & pepper shakers at the tables. It was disappointing considering the high cost. I've had dinner here before that was delicious.. so I don't know if certain dishes are just better than others.. or it's a consistency problem as I read in another review. It certainly makes me hesitant to order dinner here again. I'll likely stick to lite bites, dessert and drinks next time.

The show, the stage, the performers are amazing! The performers perform at 100% the entire time. Great dancers and singers. Extremely entertaining!
Need an adults-only activity in Seattle? This creative gem
Need an adults-only activity in Seattle? This creative gem is tucked away in the heart of Pike's Place and offers a whimsically sexy cabaret show. This cabaret is both professional and playful without taking itself too seriously. The show definitely emphasizes the talented female dancers, though there are also male dancers to make the performance appealing to all tastes. Be prepared for a solidly R-rated show with a good mix of humor interspersed between impressive dancing, live singing, and even rope spinning. It has two intermissions to allow you to stretch your legs and order more food -- I would take advantage of these, as getting up during the show may disrupt the performers entering and exiting. Our friends who had previously gone to the show told us that while the food is fine, it's nothing spectacular, so we opted instead to just order drinks. They were great and fairly priced (around $15-17 per cocktail). Overall, the show was entertaining and tastefully provocative, setting the mood for a great evening out. The show changes regularly so if you've been before, it will likely be different the next time around. Would recommend!
Amazing.
I couldn't not leave a review. The dancers were amazing and held the same energy the entire show. It's raunchy, fun, sensual. It's a vibe. Jumbo shrimp was big and filling for an appetizer. I would say getting a package deal is well worth it. I got the drink and appetizer and neither failed. Be sure to bring cash you're able to tip the dancers at the end! Dress up and enjoy the night.
I'm going to try to write this review for people who like
I'm going to try to write this review for people who like the idea of going to a cabaret, but are worried that they may be uncomfortable. This was our second cabaret, the first being in a much larger venue (Triple Door). We liked the cabaret in at the Triple Door, but *loved* this cabaret. The show itself is fairly tame as far as cabarets go. If you are visiting Seattle from middle America, or are otherwise less liberal socially, you will not be uncomfortable. The men are shirtless, and the women at most are topless with fairly large pasties on. It's not much more risqué than what you'd encounter at the beach. There is very little "suggestiveness" in terms of the performers touching each other, and to the extent there is, it is also heterosexual. In terms of below the waist, the women are in bikini bottoms, and "more conservative" thongs. The men are in pants most of the time, sometimes in codpieces, and one time the host was holding just a hat in front of his privates. Two people were "asked" to go on the stage -- me being one of them! I am not the type who usually likes this sort of thing, but I loved it. It was not embarrassing at all. Basically, after the host yelled a profanity, I was asked to repeat him. It was great fun. I was seated in the spot closest to the stage, which is why I was picked. The other person was at a bachelorette party. She sat on the stage while people danced around her. No one got particularly close, and it was much tamer than what I've seen at Vegas in the adult Cirque shows. I say all the above to say that if you want to do a cabaret, but are nervous, I would go ahead and do it. This will be among the more cabarets you can choose. The performers are incredibly talented. There are four dancers (two men, two women), one singer (woman), and the host who is also an acrobat-type person (man). The venue is stunning, and very intimate. If you get seats along the catwalk, the dancers will be dancing literally inches from your face. There's no touching, of course, and they don't touch you, either, except for a playful flick of a feather on your face once or twice. We are vegan, and there are vegan options. We did the three-course "VIP" meal. I would recommend if you are vegan to email them ahead of time, as our server -- while sweet and attentive -- was a bit clueless (she didn't know the difference between vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free). When we went both soups were vegan, and were marked as such. The corn chowder was excellent. However, no entrees were marked as vegan. In emailing back and forth with the venue ahead of time, I was told that the risotto is vegan without the protein. The server had to confirm this with the kitchen. That's what I had, and it was good. I prefer the vegan risotto at Jazz Alley, FWIW. The other dinner vegan option was the vegetarian burger without the aioli. Our server confused gluten free and vegan, and so my wife got it with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. I'm not sure if the bun was not vegan, though, and this is why she got what she got. The vegan dessert option was a vegan tiramisu. I'm not sure why it isn't listed on the menu -- it is excellent. The server knew about this, and I was told in my email discussion ahead of time that it would be available. We do not drink, and there were a handful of non-alcoholic mocktails which were also quite good. However, no NA beer options. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves -- so much that we are going to do this again in the future! If you're on the fence, do it!
Great music, dancing, food, everything.
Just generally top notch, cannot recommend highly enough.
What a fun date night! Great show and delicious food! I
What a fun date night! Great show and delicious food! I came for the Noir Thursday 6pm showing with my husband. They checked IDs upon entering and led us to our seat. We were seated along one of the runaways. We showed up around 5:20pm because it was our first time and we were planning on eating dinner there. Everyone was super friendly at the cabaret from our host to the performers, we enjoyed each interaction. Food: + Mac and Cheese gnocchi was so good and very filling! + pork chop - my husband got this and he enjoyed! Pork was nicely cooked and juicy. + gumbo - loved the flavor and the cheesy grits! I had to get a box to take the rest of my plate home because I got full. + pink chai latte - this was the perfect post meal drink that I enjoyed during the last part of the show. Show: Noir was very entertaining! All of the performers did an amazing job! There were 3 parts with 2 intermissions which was nice they split it up so you can order more things in between or take a restroom break. At the end of the show, you can tip the performers. I really appreciate that they do Venmo since I don't carry cash with me that often. Overall a wonderful experience!
I wonderful service and welcoming atmosphere.
We stopped by for a drink near closing time but they were very friendly. We couldn't watch the show as it was sold out but sounded like a lively event.
We went and saw Noir at the new location of the Can Can.
Johnny is still performing and running the show for the last 19 years! Always funny, entertaining and sexy! My favorite show in Seattle. The food and drinks were great! Friendly service too.
I love all the talented dancers and hard working staff.
My only complaint is food quality Is inconsistent. I almost feel like it would be better to eat somewhere else first and then come for the lovely show and drinks.
The food was really tasty - much better than what I feel I
The food was really tasty - much better than what I feel I have typically had at similar dinner show venues. We especially liked the drinks, sliders, biscuits, Mac and cheese, and beignets. We also had some tasty truffle fries and my partner had the Bouillabaisse too. Would definitely got back and eat the food and order the drinks again. The service was great - they checked in regularly without disrupting the show and made sure we always had drinks and water if we wanted them. The ambiance was obviously superb. We were seated at the rail and it was amazing to be so close to the show and see the performers dancing right in front! I would definitely recommend this! Great for a fun date night or a special occasion too.
We came here for my birthday and it was amazing! Everything
We came here for my birthday and it was amazing! Everything from performance to food was spectacular. We paid for the vip experience and had the burger and steak and it was worth every penny! The waitress made sure that we had everything we needed and didn't have any question. The performers were gorgeous! Super talented, from their singing to the dancing! We had so many good laughs, i would definitely go back again!
I could not recommend The Cancan more! The website to buy
I could not recommend The Cancan more! The website to buy tickets wasn't the easiest as it crashes several times while trying to buy the tickets. Our reservation somehow got booked for the wrong time slot. However when contacting the team to fix this problem the person I spoke to was prompt and very sympathetic to the issue at hand. They were totally booked for the slot my party wanted BUT somehow they managed to get us in! We booked the Owners box package for seven of us which included champagne and beignets. When arriving we were greeted warmly and excitedly at the door and shown to our seats. This made us all feel welcome and special! The table was beautifully set, and spacious enough for all of us. The waitress brought us our champagne and took our food and drink orders. The food and drinks came out quickly and with enough time for us to eat before the show started. The show itself was nothing short of amazing! The narrator and cast interacted with the crowd the whole time. The performers are incredibly talented and funny. We came to the Can Can to celebrate our friend's birthday. We bought the extra celebration package where they'd bring her on stage and take a shot with her. The team asked if the shot should be alcohol or non alcoholic which is very thoughtful. When they called her up we were blown away at how much time she spent on the stage It was incredible! They did a whole musical number with her! It made the night even more magical! The extra package was totally worth the cost. At the end of the show the whole cast walked around chatted with the crowd making the experience that more personable. I'll be getting married in October and definitely want to make a stop here for my Bach party! I can't recommend this place enough! If you aren't sure if this will be worth it, It totally is. Thank you to the whole Can Can team for making our night so special and memorable!
Such a fun and unique experience at the Can Can! I brought
Such a fun and unique experience at the Can Can! I brought my husband here for the late show to celebrate his 40th birthday and we had a blast. Everyone in the show was fantastic and amazing at their craft. The energy was all so much fun. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Seattle.
This place was fabulous! Great story line performances.
The dancing, singing, and costumes were all top notch! The drinks were all great as was the food! Very fun atmosphere for date night or a party, be aware it is a burlesque show!!! There is sexy dancing & swearing!
Amazing experience! We had so much fun.
Every performer and wait staff giving you 100% -assuring you have a great time. Food and cocktails were also very good. It is not an inexpensive evening but worth it for a special night out. Just go!
The experience was great.
The actors are hilarious and so nice. The food was good but our server couldn't hear and got me the wrong dish. She rarely came back to check in with us to tell her otherwise. I suggest pointing to the menu when ordering. Otherwise it was great overall.
PAYMENT ONLY CASH!!!! ARE WE IN JAPAN OR IN THIRTH WORLD??
Ce La Vi is a nice restaurant on a rooftop but we visited it after dinner to take a cocktail and listen some music. Unfortunately we couldnt drink anything cause in bar they want only cash not accepting credit cards!! WHAT?? In a VIP club you dont accept credit cards??? Except this we didnt like the place: too small, not space to move and really boring so we went away very soon. BIG disappointing.
Horrific New Year's Eve
Lucky we didn't die in this place. They let thousands of people in with 2 bar people and 4 toilets. Absolutely insane. And where was the cover person didn't even play
