My husband and I ate here for lunch on a Tuesday and were not disappointed! As tourists from the US, the staff treated us incredibly well and everyone was so kind. Our server and all of the waitstaff were friendly and accommodating (bringing us a menu in English as well)! When we were done, our server called us a cab to pick us up outside. The service was outstanding. When we were seated we got chicken pate with fresh bread. We got the "red meat salad" and chestnut soup for starters. We then got the beefsteak and potatoes and wild boar casserole for mains. For our dessert I got the cheese course and my husband got the sorbet. Everything was spectacular and delicious! The restaurant itself was quaint and welcoming. The decor was classic French and you can see the collection of nutcrackers if you look around. We recommend this restaurant and also wonder why it doesn't have a Michelin star! Superb!
Be the first to ReplyBest meal we had in Paris.
Food was very balanced, service was amazing and quick. Everything was very very good. And the pricing was VERY reasonable. $100 euros for dinner for two with two drinks and an espresso.
Be the first to ReplyHonest bistro fare with good technique.
Charming neighborhood spot, not fancy, but outstandingly executed bistro food. Very good ingredients, delicious preparations with some inventiveness but nothing too 'out-there' or strange Great value for the area (being near the Eiffel Tower). Good service, friendly, warm, and the chef even chatting with guests. Merci!

Simply a great all around meal and experience worthy of 5 stars which I RARELY do. The staff was attentive and we enjoyed how the senior waiter was attentively training his young staff. His wine choice fantastic. I had a delicious seafood salad followed by a great rabbit entree and topped off with a fantastic fresh strawberry with gelato desert. My brides fish was perfectly done. Oh yes ... the ambiance of a small French bistro that you expect

Don't expect a lavish , extravagant looking place which I dislike anyway because to me, it's pretentious. This is a delightful, little Michelin star restaurant, a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Cut to the chase: we had a great experience here with the staff, the service, price, drinks and food except.... The beef steak (tough and chewy) was wondering if it was a flank or skirt steak.

Our VRBO property manager recommended this restaurant close to our apartment ... I messaged ahead of time to make reservations for dinner the same day. Pros: - excellent value for prix fixe meal (entree-plat-dessert for 39 euros) - menu and specials available in English - beautifully plated food - food was overall delicious (highlights were the veal appetizer, beef entree, and chocolate "tarte" dessert Cons: - outdoor dining seemed a bit makeshift; plastic white chairs with not quite enough space for our table given the plantar boxes - service to take our order seemed unusually slow; only one waitress was able to take orders; the other two waiters could only serve food - most of the patrons seemed to be American surprisingly - need to make reservations; walk ins were turned away
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I were visiting Paris for our Honeymoon.
She made reservations here and BY FAR best restaurant we've been to. The food, the service and overall experience was great! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area, most definitely a must try! P.S be sure to leave space for dessert!

OMG this place is amazing! The service, the food, the price you cannot beat this ! We were a bit nervous when we saw the menu but we ordered and it was amazing! The bread with the spread was Amazing! I could continue to mention how amazing every plate was but you should definitely try it for yourself! I definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant in Paris . It was the best one we tried! We went during lunch hour 1:30 pm. It is reservations only so make sure to book as soon as you can !
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite meals in Paris and our last meal.
We had a reservation right at opening and the restaurant was empty (6PM). They kept getting calls about walk ins and numerous people tried to walk in - they were all rejected. So if you wish to come here, make sure you make a reservation! The servers knew English and even provided us English menus along with a chalkboard that showed the daily specials in English. That was super helpful. The only knock I have is that we asked for Sparking water and instead got still water (and you have to pay for water). The menu changes often, so I'm not really going to go into it much. But the food was great - I don't really think you can go wrong here. Be careful of your entrees, however. For example, my husband got a boar dish thinking it'd be cooked but it was a boar pate type dish with figs. Although it was good, those dishes are not for everyone. Additionally, you can ask for butter for your bread if you don't like the pate that it comes with and bread refills as well. Everything we had was tasty and my fish cost a few extra Euros, but ti was a pretty hefty amount of fish. Loved the desserts - perfectly balanced and tasty without being too sweet. 39 Euros per set menu with some choices costing additional euros. Overall, worth the trip to come here! We also walked back to the metro at night and passed by the Eiffel Tower on the way while it was lit up.

Of all the places we dined in Copenhagen and Paris, this place was my husband's favorite restaurant. I also enjoyed my "chef's special", as they kindly made vegan accommodations. I told them I would be happy to try anything that they can easily "veganize" from today's special. Starting off with their bread (and chicken liver mousse that came with it), each plate was a pleasant surprise!

. and that's including a two-star Michelin restaurant!an incredible meal from start to finish. the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. the environment was casual (which i liked) and was really comfy and homey. the menu is relatively limited, which is pretty common in France, since everything is very fresh. it's a prix fixe menu for a great deal! i think it's 39 euros for an outstanding meal, including a starter, entree, and dessert. i decided to try a lot of the specials that cost a couple of extra euros but were so worth it. everything i had was delicious. the veal chuck (special), which i would never try, was outstanding. even the rice pudding, which is typically a boring dessert, was made to perfection. i could go on and on, but you really just need to try it yourself! it's a meal I'll be talking about for a while and can't wait to go back to Paris to have it again.

We spent 3 weeks in Paris trying as many restaurants as possible and this ended up being our favorite restaurant by far. We had gone to this restaurant near the end of the trip, but had we had more time, we would have loved to come here more than once just to try more of the menu - it was that amazing. Service was also friendly, and we were lucky in being able to walk in for dinner without reservations.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely amazing.
..cute little spot near Eiffel Tower. Mushroom with poached egg was one of the best apps I have ever had. The dinner was wellPrices 35 euro for 3 course menu. But the topping on the cake was literally the dessert. Honestly we might go back before we leave for that rice pudding. it's amazing

Had a really good dinner here! We had the set menus at 45€, and chose an entree, main, and dessert. Also got 50cl of red wine at about 25€ (there was a pretty good range from about 15 to 40€ when we were there). It was overall a really great dinner experience!
Be the first to ReplyExtraordinary!Loved everything about this place.
The service, the ambiance, the quality of the ingredients, the menu options, the friendly environment, all!I would go back a hundred times if I could. What a wonderful job chef Pierre is doing at this place. The only thing I would add to make it perfect is background music. 5 stars well obtained! See my pics for better reference.

This place was around the corner from my hotel and had amazing reviews so I had to try it. It definitely lived up to the hype. Food was AMAZING! Probably the best meal I had during this trip. Service wad great and the restaurant had a rustic French charm. Highly recommend if you can snag a reservation.

Took a short hike from nearby Pullman Hotel to this place, and it happens to be our last dinner outing here in Paris so I was like wishing and hoping for some amazing food...and so it was!For starters, grilled scallops in creme sauce, yum!Main for me was the roasted shrimp with risotto, yum! While wife had the pork filet in bbq sauce, (tastes like adobo) yum!To finish, banana 'nille fevilie' with ice cream, double yum!Had to pay a few Euros extra for the grilled scallops and roasted shrimp but well worth it!My assessment does no justice compared to pics, so just check out the pics I posted and you'll relate sure enough!!
Be the first to ReplyI husband and I had one the best meals of our lives here.
The staff was friendly (in a French way) worked hard to take care of the customers my husband had Ahi tuna entree I had the asparagus salad both excellent Hake fish and beef cheek for main but out of this world. Rice pudding was sublime wine list was extensive but very reasonable I really enjoyed watching the chefs make the plates in the kitchen works of art. Our final bill was surprisingly low and I don't often say that. If thinking about going you won't regret it. I may come back to Paris do I can eat there again!
Be the first to ReplyThis was our favorite meal in Paris.
What a find! It showed up in our guidebook as a restaurant with great food not too far from the Eiffel Tower. I usually assume there's no chance of getting anything special close to such a tourist attraction, but this place proved us wrong. They're obviously very much used to dealing with tourists, and they're accommodating with English translations which was very much appreciated. They had a wonderful three course option. The most special thing I had was a tomato soup which they poured into my soup bowl at the table. We absolutely loved this meal.

Well, they never seem to be open when we are in town BUT our one experience here was magical...a feast for the taste buds! English menus available, quaint and small not far from Tour Eiffel. Probably better known to locals than tourists, but find it...delicious!
Be the first to ReplyThis was one of the best meals I have ever had, anywhere.
Not a single aspect of the meal left me disappointed, including the price. Very reasonable, our group had 4 courses and wine for less than €45. I would have expected to pay at least twice this for a meal of this quality in NYC. Highlight of the meal was the beef cheeks, nicely seared and crisp on the outside and fall apart tender throughout.
