Great staff! Had an amazing time. Our waiter Samuel was very informative and explained each item in detail !

Exquisite! My friend and I enjoyed the lunch menu that included a choice of main dishes and desserts. I also ordered an artichoke on the picture for an appetizer. The presentation and taste of each dish are examlary. The onbeyonce is very pleasant as well. It includes garden seating and inside seating. However, the The window wall was open, connecting the outside greenery, and the cooler aiconditions internal settings .
Be the first to ReplyWe had a 6 o'clock reservation before the theatre session.
The atmosphere is great, casual chic and feels very professional. They offered a pre theatre menu for $45 which, at first glance was a bargain. We were five and everyone found something to their liking. However .... Ever heard the joke of the guy who goes to a posh restaurant and afterwards stops at McDonalds because he is hungry? Well we didn't go to McDonalds but we all made delicious sandwiches at home because we were all starving. When the starters came out we got a first feel for the "bargain" menu for $45... the gazpacho soup was served in a small bowl, two, max three spoons of soup. The artichoke and the jamon starters were small but of a better proportion. For mains, do NOT order the mussels. You get a small bowl of 6 (six) small mussels and some fries. The deserts were delicious and they were of normal portions. I must say, all was served in a pleasant and attentive way. The wine list is very pricy but the wine selection is decent and original. Overall, great ambiance, nice service, great decor and not enough food. At all. So therefore, good, but not great.
Be the first to ReplyImpressive.
The bread and smoked butter is the way to start...we followed up with the foie gras and veal cheeks. Both were 5/5 maximum flavor, don't forget the basque cheesecake one of the few places that does right in South Florida. I definitely want to come back for the suckling pig and some other plates, check out the museum while your there. Highly recommend it.

Came here for dinner the day after Valentine's Day because our schedule just worked better that way. Made online reservations for dinner for 2 very easily online. There was street parking right in front of the restaurant which was maybe half full. The decor and ambiance is unique, amazing, and inviting. We were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated. Our server was friendly and professional. He made excellent suggestions so we basically ordered all that he suggested. We had the baked bread with smoked butter. Perfect start to the meal. The we had the croquetas which had Iberico ham, chorizo, and cod; wow these were perfect. We also had the cheese fondant with mushrooms and black truffle, another WOW! Then the creamy clam rice with shrimp and green sauce, this dish was perfectly seasoned and packed a ton of flavor. Also the grilled snapper, this was cooked perfectly. For dessert we had their version of "cheesecake". During the meal our server was attentive, yet not intrusive. The music was a vibe. I can honestly say this was one of the top most perfect meals I've ever had in south Florida. Every thing that came out of the kitchen was executed to perfection and we will absolutely return for dinner or lunch happily. Leku is a STRONG recommend!

Lovely setting, attentive service & vibrant menu! Leku did not disappoint. I highly recommend coming here for a stroll through the museum to work up an appetite & enjoy a wonderful meal.
Be the first to ReplySunday 6pm Think Moderne at the MOMA in nyc .
Leku is at the Rubell Museum. Pity when we came it was a rainy day and couldn't enjoy the what looks to be a beautiful garden . The space was large with both indoor and outdoor seatings. I took my friend out here for her birthday and despite a bit of a drive from the beach , it was worth it . We were greeted by friendly hosts who immediately sat us ( my preference was outdoor seating ). Our server was very knowledgeable and had full of great recommendations from the wine to the food. As I had a huge lunch , I decided not to opt for the tasting menu. We shared a few dishes starting with PAN CRISTAL + MANTEQUILLA AHUMADA, FONDANT IDIAZABAL, CALABAZA, TARTAR DE IBÉRICO, followed by CARRILLERA DE WAGYU and for dessert was the BASQUE CHEESECAKE ( to die for - I would come back here just for this and a glass of champagne or a nice chilled white wine ). Pan Cristal - delicious bread but with the butter , it was out of this world ( love the salt crunch on the butter). Tartar Iberoco - because I love steak tartare , I was excited to try the pork version ( more flavorful and tasty than steak ) Fondant IDIAZABAL - wash least favorite but was good , cheese tartlet with mushroom ( I'm a fan of mushroom ) CALABAZA - I got this because I'm obsessed with foie gras and reminds me of my trip to San Sebastián where they have grilled foie and is the reason why I love them ). Wagyu - fall of the bones , it's so tender and the sauce ... perfect with the amazing bottle of red we had . Probably too heavy for a nice summer day but perfect for a cold evening Cheesecake - perfection - love the basque version - lighter than the Italian and American versions, smooth , creamy , not sweet , just perfect ? I would definitely come back but next time I'll make sure to visit the museum as well with a large collection of arts ! There are loads of other dishes I would love to try next time . One thing is for sure , I'll save room for the cheesecake regardless of what I decide to eat .

Went to Leku for my birthday weekend and had a great time! Service was great and food was delicious. Make sure you don't miss out on the cheesecake tart!
Be the first to ReplyWe made it here on a rainy Sunday and were happy we did.
Not sure I've ever had fine dining at a museum before but this was a nice location for it. We started with a bottle of the Sen Sal wine which was very unique, giving a light feeling at first but giving some body at the end. The tartar de iberico was light but flavorful. The mantequilla ahumada was unique and boy, did I down that bread. We may have gone a little overboard with the fondants. Both were good but our favorite was the calabaza. And don't miss the Carrillera de wagyu. The garbanzos were a nice compliment to its richness in flavor. And of course, save room for the basque cheesecake. Best I've had. It worries me that our server says you can purchase a whole cake for $85. I'm trying to find excuses to buy one now. Service was excellent. He offered amazing suggestions and we had a wonderful experience here at Leku.
Be the first to ReplyWildly overpriced and overrated.
The good: - atmosphere is very nice and the whole space is very cool - staff was friendly and helpful - drinks were pretty good - croquettas were fantastic The rest: - the rest of the food we had was neutral to bad: gambas were in this congealed sauce, fondant was fine but did not amount to more than the sum of its parts, squid was bad - dry and flavorless and basically inedible, rice was fine And it was SO expensive. The most I have ever paid for a subpar meal by far.

Volveremos PRONTO! Y NO DEJEN DE PROBAR EL POSTRE: "Torta de queso vasco"... háganme caso!
Be the first to ReplyDivine comes to my mind when I want to describe this place.
Just Devine. Typically, I don't find myself in the art district but I'm glad I landed here. From the beets salad/patty, to the well seasoned and cooked wagyu steak to the mouth salivating branzino, all were superb. In addition, the museum next door is a lovely experience too.

The food was outstanding as well as the service from the moment we arrived. There was no need to ask for fresh anything as this was done immediately more drinks done fresh flatware and plates done absolutely first class amazing staff loved the food a gastronomic delight the garden out front was lovely as well as a great buffer from any unwanted noise while allowing a fresh breeze there are plenty of good restaurants in Miami but this is a higher level of food and service that made this special for us we'll definitely be returning

Be the first to ReplyLeku, the magic of art, great food and garden ambiance all
Leku, the magic of art, great food and garden ambiance all joining forces! Firstly, the beauty of going to a great art museum, exiting and turning right to find yourself in a calm, lush night garden with relaxed lighting to eat a beautiful Basque dinner cannot be over stated. I ordered a gorgeous vermouth the manager recommended on the rocks before dinner which was the perfect way to kick things off. The croquetas were amazing, especially the bacalao. The gammas al ajillo were not my favorite but had a gorgeous plating. The arroz negro was so delicious with a perfect flavor and not dry in any way. The chocolate cake with sorbet was very interesting, a strong cocoa flavor and great firm texture. But what I really came for and delivered was the Basque cheesecake. It did not disappoint! The texture! The perfect combination of drizzly ooze out the side creaminess encapsulated in a firm yet soft slice of cake. The service is amazing, the menu varied and its is tough to beat the relaxed garden ambiance that Leku brings. Need to go back and try a cocktail with my vermouth next time and more menu items.
Be the first to ReplyWent for the first time yesterday.
My husband and I had dinner and the service was just amazing. We were celebrating our anniversary, and without them even knowing, our experience was an extremely pleasant one. Everyone was super accommodating. We sat outside which it has a nicer, more romantic vibe than inside. Food was also great. Would definitely return.

Be the first to ReplySome friends recommended that we visit Leku during our last
Some friends recommended that we visit Leku during our last Miami visit, and I'm so glad we made it in for Sunday brunch. The restaurant is a basque kitchen located at the Rubell Museum, which I have visited a couple of times, so I'm not sure how I missed the this restaurant. The inside is stunning and if you're looking for al fresco dining, you've hit the jackpot with this place (don't miss their secret garden lounge area). We didn't make reservations, but we were able to grab 2 seats at the bar. I started with the Gazpacho Maria which is their take on a Bloody Mary and I was blown away by the flavor of this drink made with their actual in-house gazpacho. The tomato, bell pepper, cucumber, & hot sauce all came together to form the most perfect savory beverage in my opinion. We ordered their signature beet tartare appetizer "Tartar de Remolacha" with olive oil caviar after seeing how beautiful it looked in photos. I've never had beets prepared this way... so light and fluffy and we devoured it in seconds. For our mains, we went with some of their brunch specialties -- the picaña wagyu burger and the egg skillet with their hand-sliced Iberico ham. The skillet dish was actually pretty soupy, so I was glad to see they served it with a baguette on the side for dipping. Last but not least, you absolutely cannot go to Leku without saving room for dessert and ordering a slice of their life-changing basque cheesecake. I've never had a cheesecake like this before, but it was magical. My husband was pretty full from his burger, so I pretty much crushed the slice on my own... truly phenomenal!
Be the first to ReplyWow this restaurant was amazing! 10/10 in all aspects.
The food was spectacular and so fresh! We tried the 10 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. I'm still drooling over the tomatoes - They get them from a local farm called Tamer Harpke family farm. Sooo delicious. The meat appetizers were also very tasty. The wine pairing was also great and the story behind each wine was excellently described. The dessert was very unique - I prefer something with chocolate but this was ok. Love the atmosphere too, attached to a small museum (family collection). Loved it all!
Be the first to ReplyI'm coming to this restaurant every time I get to visit
I'm coming to this restaurant every time I get to visit Miami, it's always a spectacular place to celebrate any event! We always have great servers that know exactly how to match you with the best dishes for your pallet and how to pair it properly to maximize the experience. The place is located inside an art museum and surrounded by a beautiful garden if you get to sit outside, or a lovely elegant table if you are looking for a more intimate dining experience. There is plenty of parking space outside during the weekdays if you come in the evening, or a valet across the street.I highly recommend the tasting menu!!! You get either 5 or 7 courses of food and each is spectacular and let's you truly enjoy the great selection the place offers, I would recommend adding the wine pairing since their selection is impressive and has more variety than most places. We've had - beet tartare, foie gras and cocoa tart, short rib sliders, duck breast, artichoke, roasted cauliflower and seasonal tomato and basil cracker, for drinks we had the el cholo cocktail and casi casi - highly recommend each dish from the portions we've had, the only thing I would recommend to think about is the foie gras since its very unusual, some might not like it. Looking forward to our next time!

Perfect after museum lunch date with friends! This was a wonderful experience after visiting the Rubell museum in the same building. We did not have reservations, but were able to get a table after a short 10 minute wait. We waited in the outdoor garden which is so beautiful. I loved the open air dining concept very lovely as well as the light and bright clean décor. Our server Daniel was very helpful and friendly. He explained the concept of tapas (small plates) and sharing. Everything was delicious. I had the gin macerado cocktail- rosemary, citrus, and gin- very refreshing perfect cocktail for a hot summer day. I was told they infuse the gin with the herbs and fruit, and I found it was very delicious. We had the trio of croquetas which were all yummy. My favorite was the ham. Also we ordered the carrillera de ternera (braised wagyu veal) which was so delicious and tender. This was cooked to perfection and the sauce was divine. My friends ordered the Salmon and the Duck- they both liked their plates as well. I tried the duck and it was very juicy and I really enjoyed it as well. For sides, we had the patatas panaderas (potatoes) and pimentos (variety of peppers)- both were good.To be honest, I don't remember the dessert but I want to say it was a cheesecake and it was average. I really enjoyed this restaurant and experience. I would recommend going if you have the chance to do so.
