Parking was a bit of a headache since it was the night of a Padres game--nearby lots were charging $10 an hour, which felt inconvenient. Once inside though, I loved the modern vibe of the dining area. You order at the register and they bring your foo

Unreal. We also had a couple of amazing margs whipped up by a great bartender(not sure of her name). I will be returning soon.

Wow! Super helpful staff, you order at the front and bring a number to your table. We got lucky and found parking close by, but YMMV for street parking. Some people of the party had allergies and the staff was very knowledgeable about what allerge
I came to Lola 55 for the first time last night.
For a Michelin-rated spot, there were some ups and few too many downs, but let's start with the good. The restaurant is very nicely designed and the staff are really helpful. It's comfy and modern, with super high ceilings, a fully stocked
They're great! The drinks and food were amazing.
Well worth the Michelin Guide awards displayed on their walls. My only complaint is that they're closing the Carlsbad location (I blame Carlsbad for this travesty). I had the smoked carnitas taco, mesquite grilled steak taco and pork belly al p
I wish I took pics! This place is stellar.
We ordered the two vegan tacos, then the chicken and fish tacos. It could not even compare to street tacos which are always great. The chicken was juicy with a char. The fish was fresh. The mushroom tacos were out of this world. They were crispy and

We ordered a variety of tacos - pork belly al pastor, steak, Mesquite chicken, smoked carnitas, and baja style fish as well as elite which was part of the daily specials. Also tried a house marg with special house salt/seasoning rim. Everything was d

I was excited to try the tacos here as they looked really creative. The chicken and pork tacos were good, but the steak in the steak taco was really tough. Takeout was really easy and the order came out quickly.

We went here because it was recommended in the Eater and was Michelin recognized, but the food itself barely stood out when we had to wait over 35 mins for a part of our order to come out, then we waited another 20 minutes or more (after we finished

Been here twice before and enjoyed the food especially the quesadillas. Today for lunch it was so slow and understaffed that we ended up having one of our items that we waited about an hour for taken off the bill. Not sure what's going on with t
Literally stole credit card
My husband gave the server the credit card to open a tab. When he tried to close the bill out, they claimed that they didn't have the credit card anymore, although they did have someone else's card that was the same color. No help trying
The waiter should work in a jail, not in a restauant.
Nothing in this review is related to the food which continues to be excellent, but to the extreme rudeness of the waiter. We arrived at 8:35PM, and were already "greeted" by the barwoman who said the kitchen was going to close in 5 minutes
Worth the Michelin distinction
A nitty gritty restaurant that employs high quality ingredients, prepares everything at the moment and makes almost everything in house (including tacos and tortillas). What else can I say: come here and you will eat excellent and healthy food.
Make no excuse - go!
Famous for their fish taco, beating out Bobby Flay. Establishment has earned Michelin recognition in 2019, 2021, 2922 and 2023. Oaxaca inspired food. Spunky Noel took our requests. We enjoyed three tacos types: - fish - battered over a light cr
Fantastic Tacos!
Stopped in on a Tuesday evening and the crowd was small, but you could tell there were local regulars that was a good sign. I had the steak, pork belly, and the Baja fish tacos and they were spectacular. The service was friendly and attentive. Even t
Savory Tacos!
This gem of a place is worth a visit. The tacos are delicious; each is unique. I assure you the taste is not generic. Savory, pleasing to the eye, and best of all, budget-friendly. We will undoubtedly dine here again when we're in town!
Worth the wait- which was long
Took away a star because of the wait. Ordered online to pick up and the scheduled weight was 35 to 40 minutes, but when I arrived on time and waited online for a very busy bartender, she found that the kitchen had not even gotten to my order yet, so
Yummy Nummy in my Tummy
Yummy nummy in my Tummy. There’s a reason this place gets five stars. The food is excellent. I got the fish taco, pork, belly, taco, beans, and rice. I highly suggest all of them. If I could only order two and be the fish taco and the beans.
