Lovely Dining experience
We had a fantastic dining experience with proper attention from our waitress, Neetika. She made it so easy for us to choose the food, and we love her recommendations and her hospitality . Will be back in future soon.

We came here for the high tea and were blown away by the experience. Sabrina our server was extremely attentive as she explained everything to us. She was also kind enough to take lots of photos of our experience which we truly appreciated. The ambiance, the aesthetic, the superb customer service and of course the utterly delicious high tea made this an experience worth repeating. Can’t wait to come back.
Terrible Service
I had a really bad experience at Lola Rogue. When I got there, it was quiet with about three waitresses around. They took our order for four dishes but only one came. We waited 20 more minutes for two more dishes. Just as we were about to eat, another waitress took our food away saying this isn’t for you with no apology or explanation. We ended up sitting for half an hour with just one dish. Eventually, three more dishes arrived, but our drinks didn't. We asked twice, and they finally came 40 minutes after we sat down. The drinks were great, but the food was not. While serving the drinks, a waitress put the drinks down and handed us a dirty plate to hold. The portions are tiny for the price you pay and we didn’t really know what we were eating because no one explained. No one checked on us, and we didn't get any water topped up. We had to go look for water ourselves. When we left, no one asked how the food was, and we couldn't find any staff to give feedback to. We just paid the bill and left. The service was terrible, and the food took forever to come. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
Underwhelming and tiny portions for price
In a nutshell: underwhelming, very small portions for price, average service but outstanding cocktails and great atmosphere. In more detail: Booked months in advance for a significant birthday celebration with family. This was based on menu seen online and recommendation from friends but on arrival we found the menu and style of eating had changed, the day before our booking but we were not informed. We ordered recommended number of plates for our group and were told would be portioned appropriately but all 6 of us left very hungry and went to a local food court for a second dinner. Given the price, this was extremely disappointing. Flavours were nice but did find the menu descriptions did not match the dishes. The group favourite was general tsos chicken. The absolute standout were the drinks!! Both cocktails and mocktails were outstanding. Lovely atmosphere.
The good and the bad
As before, the chefs and restaurant staff at Lola Rouge is always on point. Tanya made the restaurant experience really lovely explaining and putting us at ease that the meal servings would be enough for us as a family to share...suffice to say, it was more than enough. Again hats off the the chefs and kitchen staff. The food was amazing. The plant based meals was so tasty and appetising to the eye as well. Unfortunately the let down was waiting to be seated. We were a bit early and decided to wait in the bar area. We were there for 15 minutes and not 1 staff member came to wait on us. Many looked our way but no-one came to serve. Kudos to the restaurant and kitchen but the bar needs to work on their service!

Fabulous dinner experience. Superb food in a great atmosphere. The staff were all very attentive which made it a most enjoyable experience. Particularly loved the oysters here.

Best Cocktails and Service
Sabrina makes the best cocktails and has the best service! She is a lovely lady. Definitely recommend the Kāpiti’s Dusk cocktail.

Went for high tea with some friends, and Sabrina made our experience amazing. She was beyond patient and very kind. She explained thoroughly what we were eating and where it urgent came from. I will definitely come again.
Decadent High Tea
Completely scrumptious high tea, one of the best in Wellington and I've been to many! Things that didn't quite hit the mark for us was: the cracker with the salmon was rock hard and difficult to eat and it felt tricky to get service to get drinks. However the rest of the food was more than delicious, presentation fit the interior decor perfectly, and when the team did come to the table the service was great. I'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent in part, spoilt by the rest
We had the $85 set menu early in the evening. Wonderful decor. Welcoming servers. Good dry Riesling wine. An amuse bouche of tempura mushroom was weak. Torched salmon, silken tofu and wok tossed greens were all excellent and would justify 5*. But then within two minutes our tiny table was laden with three more dishes and rice. These three dishes were mediocre and difficult to share on the small table and the rice was dry and probably reheated. Everything got cold before we could finish eating. The desert sharing plate included a good pistachio crumb and two weaker dishes and sharing was difficult.

Fantastic service from Sabrina. Super friendly and helpful. She was extremely knowledgeable about the tea and menu. Food was very innovative and delicious.
This spot is almost magical.
All the staff are friendly and they work together seamlessly so you are seated and served as everything is prepared. We had the big breakfast and the eggs Montreal- every element of both plates reflected high quality products and the sauces and meals were exquisite. I cannot recommend this place any more highly than to say you should go!

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
