Lure Fish House Paradise Valley Reviews from The Last Year
Great food combined with high quality service
Taylor was a great server and the staff worked well as a team Food was outstanding and a varied menu. I sampled all four entrees and each stood out, particularly the sand dabs.
Great restaurant with wonderful ambiance.
We had the trout almondine which was fantastic. It came with pineapple slaw which was delicious as was the brown rice. Georgia was a wonderful server as well. Lastly, Lure had a great ambiance and vibe! Highly recommend!
Nice seafood restaurant in Scottsdale with a lot of options including choices from new england as well as west coast
Went with friends to this restaurant . We had a party of 9 and they put us in a private room which was nice since the restaurant was busy and noisy . I was surprised that they had both New England clam chowder as well as a lobster roll. I am from New England so am a tough critic but the clam chowder was great . I would rank the lobster roll A- it had nice large chunks of lobster meat likely claws and tail . By only reason for the slightly lower grad is as a New Englander traditional lobster rolls only have lobster with a little mayo while this had celery and something else but again is you aren’t going to Maine soon this will warm your heart

Very nice customer service, plenty of options, clean, prompt service. Ridiculously enormous portions. Here's the catch (or lure) though: Quite expensive for mediocre seafood that contains highly processed, preservative-laden ingredients. A giant salad I ordered was not fresh, hard to chew, and the dressing was gooey and very bland. The fish was smelly, old, oily, lifeless, mushy and tasted like it came out of a microwave. The brussels sprouts were sadly dead, and also appeared to be microwaved, then dowsed in an overly-sweet, oily vinegar sauce. Instead of enormous portions of mass-produced, poor quality ingredients, I would've much preferred a smaller meal that was fresh and lovingly prepared. This is simply conveyor belt food. I came here for a family event, and left with a stomachache.
Honestly I am at a battle with this place.
The ambiance can atmosphere is great. It is pretty decent for groups or couples with a huge dining area. They also have an open kitchen and the bar looks awesome. The pricing isn't exorbitant either which always helps. The taste of everything just seems mediocre. The cheesy polenta needed salt. The ahi tuna was cut so thick and the sauce was I think just some ponzu and a mayo base sriracha. I feel like I could make that dish at home which I have before. The best thing of the night were the charbroiled oysters from the Santa Cruz tower. The weird thing was that they had huge leafs of lettuce at the bottom and took up a third of the bottom tray. It just seems like a lot but really wasn't. Some of the other people in my party said the same thing. I'm sure of the hype of this place. It's always busy and decent reviews it wouldn't be my first choice for seafood in Arizona and maybe that's the real problem we live in the desert. Our server was nice. He spilled a bunch of stuff thankfully didn't go on us. But very nice and gave a few recommendations. Everything came out fairly quick. They even moved our time to sit inside which was nice. My reason for the 3 is that it's really a 3.5 but I can't round up here. The food just lacked here and I wasn't a huge fan. This is my second time coming and thought the same thing.

We've tried this restaurant, several times, and for the most part, the food and service is very good. Sometimes the service is a little slow and sometimes the food is not as good, but overall, it's a good place to have a lunch meeting because it's not too loud.
If you love seafood, you’ll love this place!
This is our “go to” when celebrating a special event or just need a night out of the kitchen! Food is consistently fresh, well prepared, portions are plentiful and the restaurant pricing is fair. The restaurant is casual to upscale, has a very descent wine list and the menu is updated frequently with the “daily catch.” We appreciate good service and that’s exactly what you’ll get! Wait staff is friendly, professional and knows the menu, so can offer suggestions or provide a good description of how each item is prepared. We want to give a special shout out to Ryan who served us last evening. He was great…. Attentive without hovering!
Incredible menu, food, service, and vibe.
I can't wait to go back. Everything is super fresh and amazing!
Reliably great food.
....the clam chowder ( New England) is delicious. My favorite dish is Lobster Roll....make sure you request it warm.
I just love this place! If you are looking for great
I just love this place! If you are looking for great seafood at a reasonable price, this is it. We ordered the sea bass and black cod, and both are amazing. I still prefer sea bass, but the black cod does have more flavor.
Dinner at six on a Sunday .
Place was full and lively , they have glass partitions that reduce noise and it worked well . There is an area I will call the bull pen , very large in area and mostly high top tables then on the perimeter there are tables . Service from Kirby was great , we had the tower which was a lot of food for two , broiled lobster was good not great , broiled oysters were very good . There were three other types oysters all excellent . There were about six jumbo shrimp, very fresh firm and served cold they were very good. We had the calamari which was very good as well . Looking at the rest of the menu it looked great and the prices were in the 25 to 30 dollar range and seemed reasonable. We did the tower to try to sample everything, not a mistake . Overall I highly recommend and will be back
Love the food! Super appetizers and dinners.
Only problem is my stomach is not big enough to have both at the same meal!! Service is always prompt. The noise level is a bit high and once caused an order to be misheard by the server. Who promptly replaced the error with the desired dish.
Giving them 4 stars because my first visit was spectacular.
Hubs and I went for happy hour and sat at the bar our bartender was attentive and made great drinks. I had fish tacos and fries, can't remember what Hubs had but he enjoyed it. Onions were put on my tacos despite the bartender advising of my allergy. They remade them right away, no issues. Perfect visit! We went again for dinner last week with his mom and this visit was different. Our server was great! We went late so most of the fish options I wanted were sold out and the ravioli had onion so I got fish tacos. I advised that I had an onion allergy and they did their best to keep the onions out but I still ended up with at least two. I advised my server, he took my plate back and immediately brought it back stating there were no onions. I take a bite of my other taco and guess what I tasted (if you said an onion, you're correct). At that point I didn't want anything else. The manager came over and talked to me and offered to replace the meal but I was over it at that point. I had some of my Hubs sea bass and my fries so I'd gotten full. They took it off our bill but I didn't like how they downplayed my initial concerns. If a customer tells you they have an allergy and even if accidentally, an onion ends up in their food, take it seriously the first time. I could have been hospitalized.
Excellent! We loved Lure Fish House!
We absolutely loved Lure Fish House. Cocktails were fantastic and the food was outstanding. The service by Shereese was out of this world. When we go back, we'll sit outside on the patio and request Shereese to be our server! If you love seafood, you MUST try Lure Fish House!
Enjoying Lure Fish House with family
Lure Fish House was recommended by a friend to my brother in Palm Springs. On their visit, we had our first meal at Lure. We were surprised at the size of the restaurant and the patient service. Our entrees included Sea Bass, Cioppino (mine), seafood chowder and caesar salad with chicken. As we were being treated, I didn't know the total cost. We were very pleased with our visit and dinner.
Fresh fish at a great price!
The value for dollar is absolutely fantastic here. The dishes were delicious but the price was even better. Big portions not at the expense of quality. Great ambience, helpful and friendly staff and fresh fish. We tried the sea bass, mussels, grilled oysters, trout and fish stew and they were all good ! I would go back for sure.
Excellent food and service!
We were greeted and seated with a smile. Food was tasty and fresh. We had the branzino, trout, and steak with various sides, as well as the key lime pie and burnt pumpkin cheesecake. Would definitely recommend this place!
Ho-Hum Restaurant
Average food at above average prices. The calamari tasted like old grease, and slightly over fried. The ceviche was OK, nothing positive, nothing negative. The crab cakes were mushy and mayonnaisey. The Rock Fish was very good. Their beer selection is weak. The cocktails were very good. For the people who think this place is excellent , they must not ever eat seafood. Sorry, it was a ho-hum meal.
Tops on Service
Late arrival looking for light options. First time. Warm greeting and warm ambience. Fantastic service. Broad menu but we were looking at starters. Good choices.
Decent Seafood Restaurant with Reasonable Prices
My husband and I had dinner here on our first night on vacation. Our waiter, while friendly, seemed a bit distracted. Said he would bring us bread, then took bread to the table behind us who were seated after us. When we did get bread, it was piping-hot out of the oven and delicious. We both had the halibut and I thought it was good, while my husband felt his was a bit dry. We had indicated in our Open Table reservation that we were celebrating my birthday but they did not do anything to acknowledge it. The wine list has some good choices and we did enjoy a bottle with our dinner.
Excellent
We came across Lure by chance staying at Hyatt Regency (walking distance) . Both my wife and I enjoyed our food and service so returned for a second visit . Lure is a fine entrant to an area with excellent selections . I went with the servers recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. Oysters were on the meaty and sweet side but small

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
