We sat at the chefs counter and it was super cool to see all the plating being done. They bring you to a separate room for dessert and wow, it's like a speakeasy. Dessert is served in a wine cellar and the vibe is fantastic for a romantic date night. Fantastic service - loved the understanding waiters (I mentioned I didn't like goat cheese, they told me the last course is 100% cow cheese BUT tastes similar to goat - said to give it a shot but warned i may not like it. Thought the headsup was really nice, and I did end up not liking it but the staff was super understanding and a good sport!) Food: Omg one of the best menu's I've had thus far. I loved soooo many dishes - flavors and ingredients were interesting and innovative. Here are some highlights. Iberico ham with beans [5/5]: I forget what kind of beans they were but wow. This simple looking dish was AMAZING. The beans had a little kick to them, and were soft but not mushy. Iberico ham's saltiness balanced it out well. Loved every bite of this!! Cactus apple jalapeño dish [5/5]: this is the dish that was plated like flowers. Ugh i really wish I remembered the ingredients in all of these courses bc they're exquisite. But this was sooo unique. The jalapeño soup had a great spicy tangy taste, the apple's sweetness paired so well with the spicy. And the cactus added a great crunch and freshness to every bite. Pumpkin spice [5/5]: truly tasted like fall, and an elevated PSL. Loved the creaminess of the dessert and the I believe were sesame cracker toppings added a nice fragrant crunch. I cannot emphasize how much I recommend this restaurant. Great value for pricing, fantastic service, so many lovely surprises along the way, and the little treat they give you to take home was also *chef's kiss*
