Michael Mina Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
We really enjoyed our dinner at Michael Mina.
The food was incredible. I had the Sole and my husband had the Duck Breast. Both were delicious. The Lemon dessert was beautiful to look at it but tasted even better. The restaurant is like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the casino. Jeronimo was so attentive and made sure we had a great experience but also left in time to see our show. Highly recommend this restaurant! One of our all time favorites.
Mothers Day Brunch Wins The Day
Our fifth visit brought joy to a humbled couple from Whitehorse Yukon 🇨🇦 Mother’s Day Brunch was a huge success. The unlimited Momoas and Bloody Mary’s rained down on our table. The kitchen was bustling like a steam locomotive, everyone moving at high frequency and precision. The atmosphere was wonderful. Service was attentive but not intrusive - thank you Paul. You were personable and endeared yourself to us. Food quality was stellar and continues to be unmatched - thank you Chef Dixit!!! Ambiance was lovely - quick paced but not rushed. Each Mom received a care package and bouquet of flowers 💐 very thoughtful and on point. Justin, Carla and Eric - always a pleasure to see you and catch up. The conversations always meaningful and heart felt. All three of you have impacted our lives - integrity, professionalism, and above all else care. 🌹 Once again magic 🪄 was achieved.
Great food, but the price is insane!
The food was delicious. There’s no question about that. I’m here on a business trip so I was by myself. I did the tasting menu, and everything was very good, but I have to say that I can only give this a three star because the price was ridiculous. For me as one person, the tasting menu and two alcoholic drinks was $350 with the tip. And I feel like for that price, the amuse Bouche included!!! It was not, and in fact, it was an extra like $60. Very extraordinarily priced even for casino restaurant.
Amazing dinner experience!
My husband and I had the tasting menu and ordered different dishes in every category, so we basically tried the entire menu. We are foodies and have eaten all over the world, and this is one of the best dinners we have ever had! Every dish was creative, beautifully prepared, and was fresh and absolutely delicious. Our server, Jamie, was so very personable and enjoyable, and made the evening that much more special. He also made sure we were finished in time to get to our 7:00 show. Thank you for an amazing experience!
The atmosphere here is amazing.
Great for regular or special ocassions. The food and service was amazing.
Our server, the staff, and our sommelier were amazing.
We ate at The Garden Table in The Conservatory and the ambiance was incredible. We've eaten at many fine dining establishments, and the menu and wine pairing were some of the best we've ever had. Definitely an experience we will always remember and the perfect way to enjoy our tenth wedding anniversary.
Food was very good, and the service was attentive, but
Food was very good, and the service was attentive, but cocktail was poor. The Old Fashioned was one of the worst I have ever had, balance was way off.
Service was impeccable.
The restaurant was lovely. Very san Francisco chic. Like all Michael mina restaurants. The food was great. My husband loved his steak, well cooked. The sides we ordered were great too. I got the truffle pasta, it was a bit too overpowered by the truffles and made the pasta a bit dry but still good enough to eat.
I had the tasting menu.
The food was certainly good. Except for the Lobster Pot Pie. It was so salty, I did not want to finish it. The sommelier was fabulous and adapted to my hopes quite well. The service was good. But none of it was great, or even much beyond good. If you want great, go to LeCirque, also in the Bellagio. I went there the previous night, and THAT was an experience well worth the money for food, service, wine, experience. Michael Mina? Good, but not in the same class as LeCirque, especially since they were both the same price.
Great, with one exception
The service, the Servers, the Sommelier and wine selections were all great. My only "gripe" would be the amount of time it took to complete our meal. While I never want to be rushed when fine-dining, I also don't want to have to wait almost 2-hours to get my main course then have to literally shovel it into my mouth, ask for the check as the food is served and end the meal in a rabid hurry. My two coworkers and I showed up 3-hours prior to our reservation, sat at the bar and had drinks for almost an hour, then were sat at our table at 5 mins prior to our reservation time (7:30pm). I made this reservation time because we had tickets to a show at 9:30pm in the same hotel, so I figured a 2-hour timeline would be sufficient. After being seated the remainder of the meal was wonderful but we noticed that the kitchen's timing was a little slower than most high-end restaurants but we just bided our time. However, as 9pm came and went, and we still didn't have our main courses, I finally had to ask our Server to ask the kitchen to "rush" our meal so we could make our show on time. Then, to complete our meal, the Server brought 2 of 3 meals to the table and I asked for the check at the same time. We ate fast, still waiting on the 3rd entree to show up but anxious to not miss the start of our show. When the 3rd entree showed up it was consumed rapidly as I paid the check and we gathered our things, walking away from our table exactly 2-hours after we had been seated. All in all if you have no timeline at all to meet, if you have time to just sit for several hours, then I highly recommend. As in most Vegas hotels, everything is over-priced, with wines appearing to be at about a 300% - 400% upcharge, but you pay for the experience and convenience.

Food is good but service is mediocre.
The staff seems arrogant. We asked for the pre-theatre menu, and were told they no longer offer this. We saw it online and had booked this specifically, and even added it in the booking remarks. The staff tried to get us to order a la carte or from the regular tasting menu. When we insisted on the pre-theatre menu, we were made to feel an exception was made for us. The 3-course meal with wine pairing was good. Service was so-so. Our 2nd wine pairing didn't arrive in time, and the sommelier told us he was busy with "regular clients... there is more to Vegas than Mina." No idea what that comment meant. Staff motivation needs to be examined? Happy to be here again. We were here last year. Hope the service can improve.
Good food but the waiter was beyond weird.
Really ruined the experience with this creepy guy.
Very good seafood spot in bellagio
Been to the bellagio many times for dinners, and decided to give Michael Mina a try. It’s located in the conservatory just outside the Bellagio lobby. Setting is fine, open floor plan, tables not too close together. Service was good, cocktail service was prompt. Decent drinks. Good wine list. Started with some oysters, which were excellent. Had tuna tartare which was prepared table side. Very good. For dinner we had the half portion snapper, half portion branzino, and phyllo-crusted sole. All were good, as expected, but for $78 for a half-portion fish, perhaps we expected a bit more “wow” factor either with presentation or flavor. Would definitely try again next time we are there.

Best place in Vegas to eat
The service is absolutely amazing! You need to make a reservation this is the best place in Vegas to eat so book ahead. The food is nothing short of heavenly. The staff are spot on to meet your needs. Tara is a classic that brings me back as well as the caviar parfait with Belvedere vodka. The steaks are always tender and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Las Vegas, and you don’t eat here, you truly have never been to Las Vegas.
One star of poor experience
Here is you 1 star Michelin! The theater starts with the hanger. At the door two cheep looking hostesses asked us to wait ( for about 5 min) when finally set us down. There were only two things came fast in the whole three hours of us being at the restaurant: the water and the big check. An hour in we have not even had out starters yet.forget about chef’s complementaries as it usually happens in high cuisine restaurants. Good cuisine was spoiled by an exceptionally long wait and a poor service. Instead of offering us a sorbet to clear out pallets in between dishes, as it is suppose to be in high cuisine restaurant the Cheff sent us shrimp to apologizing for a wait…. After almost three hours we still were waiting for desert. I tried to get attention of our waiter who was right there talking to a colleague of his. Another waiter saw me looking and also tried to pay the waiter’s attention but in vain. He ended up coming to us himself and addressing our need. Unbelievable! Mr Mina would not put his name under the service like that!
Forever Luxurious
A part of the Bellagio since opening, first as Aqua but since reborn twice as MICHAEL MINA Restaurant, it was as The Strip shuttered that eight guests sat down for a meal never to be forgotten and now with the Pandemic but a memory the Restaurant remains remarkable under the direction of Chef Raj Dixit. Always a special place, and on this particular evening again completely full, it was in the Private Dining Room that four friends were situated just past to 6:00pm, Carte Blanche once again deferred to the kitchen who opted to prepare a menu of pure opulence. Designed as an eight-course menu, with white glove treatment afforded to all in attendance, it was following a Champagne toast that the night started with Michael Mina’s timeless Caviar Parfait commanding attention from black Eggs to crispy Potato Cake with palates cleansed between bites by Belvedere Vodka. Delivering Mina’s housemade Laffa next, the first of many baskets complimented by a trio of Spreads, Shellfish comes as a tremendous display whether raw or char-grilled with Garlic, the White Truffle Butter on its side foreshadowing housemade Pasta blanketed with tableside shavings. Pairing each savory with Wine for those so inclined, Salmon given Thai treatment offered with Riesling, Duck with its Liver each arrived flawlessly cooked alongside a quartet of condiments ranging bitter to sweet. Not holding back with A5 Miyazaki Wagyu plated simply with classic Bordelaise, California Cabernet matching its richness, Dessert is always an all-in affair on this evening finding Michael’s famous Root Beer Float alongside “The Lemon,” Chocolate Mousse and silky Panna Cotta.
Highly Recommended
On our last evening at the Bellagio, we ate at Michael Mina. The best decision. The staff were great, very well-trained waiters, friendly and unobtrusive. Since we couldn't decide, we ordered the menu. It was really good. Everything was perfect, everything was fresh and delicious. An absolute recommendation. We'll be back.
Wonderful service Average food
Came for supper for our anniversary with high expectations, we were disappointed. The service was exceptional, no problems there. Unfortunately our food fell flat. I ordered a tasting seafood dish which had shrimp, crab, lobster, and mussels. My husband had steak and mashed potatoes. Everything was average, the seafood and steak were disappointing. We have had better at red lobster. Maybe because we were at the east coast this year the seafood tasted so blah? The steak was just ok as were the potatoes, the Keg us definitely better. Not a meal that was worth $380 with 1 side and 2 alchohol dtinks. ( tip in) would definitely never go back.
Jesse & Alex Deliver!
My wife and I enjoyed sensational food here last week. It was sooooo good we ate dinner here three times. We enjoyed the Cavier Parfait, Little Gem Salad, Tuna Tartare, Foie Gras, Phyllo - Crusted Petrale Sole, Steak, and several desserts. We enjoyed most of these items multiple times. Jesse served us on the first and third evenings and Alex on the second evening. The food and service were tremendous. With over 4,300 restaurants in Las Vegas to choose from, we chose Michael Mina three times. That speaks for itself as to how good it is!
EXCELLENT
Great food, excellent service and a contemporary setting make Michael Mina in Las Vegas a must go-to place for a fine dining experience. The menu leans towards seafood, though there are several options for meat lovers. Our party started with the caviar parfait, and for entrees we had the salmon and sole, and both seafood dishes were excellent. Dessert was a strawberry souffle. Food was well prepared, and was served hot-not lukewarm as some restaurants. If you want a special experience, I recommend going to Michael Mina.
Better Than Ever
We had dinner here last night for our 34th anniversary. I'm so glad that this amazing restaurant is back open from covid, and it's clearly running on all cylinders -- better than ever. Food - 10 out of 10 - presentation; flavors; each of the five courses caused my wife & me to pause and look wide-eyed at each other after the first bite or two; simply off the charts. Atmosphere - 10 out of 10 - what a beautiful dining room, with a level of ambiance that's lacking in so many restaurants, even those that are highly rated; classy, but not stuffy or pretentious. Service - 12 out of 10 - we eat regularly at Michelin-starred restaurants here and in Europe, and it truly doesn't get any better than this; of particular mention was our head waiter, Patrick, who made sure our 34th was a special evening.

What do I do with the reservation after I sell it? Do I need to notify the restaurant?
