Great Jamaican food! We got the jerk chicken Coti roll and the fried chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic with extremely flavorful chicken. They seem to have a pretty busy boozy brunch, so come in early to get a Table. Definitely will be coming back here

I can't wait for the flagship restaurant to reopen! Great vibes, great authentic food.

Went to this place with my friends because according to a TikTok, it was one of Bella Hadid's favorite places in New York.It did not disappoint. I ordered the jerk chicken burrito and the flavors just melted in my mouth. The portions are large, but the food was so delicious that I finished my entire plate. My friend ordered the jerk chicken and the meat was so tender that it literally fell off the bone. Amazing! The restaurant itself is very cute. It has both outdoor and indoor dining areas. The inside reminded me of a retro 80's diner. There was no wait when I went on a Saturday afternoon and we were seated immediately. The customer service was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyBeen a while since I enjoyed Ms.
Lily's and when I heard they had reopened post Covid shutdown my fam and I headed ther efforts brunch, we should have stayed away. Large party. Highlights, jerk corn stayed consistent. Real good. Ms. Lily's punch was just ok. Needed something else. Bellini thumbs up. Sangria nope stay away. Another highlight our server. She was funny, pleasant and a joy. Now onto the other stuff. Jamaican breakfast was supposed to have jamaocan greens. What I know as jamaican greens is either callaloo or spinach. What I got was some jumbo chopped collard greens that weren't fully cooked. This dish also came with Ackee and saltfish. Man the saltfish was whiter than white. No salt in the saltfish and also bland. No seasoning. Plantain on the dish was so so and the festival was dry. Mind you it said that there was to be a finger of banana but that didn't happen. Another let down was the jerk chicken roti. Not use to getting rice in a roti but Ms. Lily's has that. Seemed more like a burrito. This dish had so much rice in it and a little bit of chicken and it made holding the roti to eat difficult. Then there was the jerk chicken. No smokey flavor which is trade marked to all jerk chicken food. Then there was the breakfast roti. Smh. Again call it what it is a burrito. We also had the saltfish fritters. Now what was interesting was the pieces of saltfish acrually tasted like saltfish. What was most disappointing was that I brought an American because the food is usually good and they wanted to try jamaican food. Now sadly this was the 1st impression. I'm sorry Ms. Lily's you dropped off badly

I've only been wanting to come here for ages! It's usually popppin for brunch and dinner so I was happy to gotten a seat right away. The atmosphere inside is kinda like an old school diner with a carribean touch, it's lovely. The service is good too, they were super quick and helpful. We ordered the:Spicy grilled shrimp app:- tons of flavor, and loaded with sauce. It is pretty spicy, like back of the throat spicy so just be aware of that. I wish they gave more shrimp thoooo!Jerk chicken:- huugeee portion, gave me damn near half the chicken! It literally came off the bone, i didnt need the knife to eat it. It was delicious, juicy, all that. There is a sauce drenched on it so you're not really getting a true jerk kick -- so maybe ask for the sauce on the side? It comes w rice+peas, and veggies to pair the chicken together.Salmon:- Nothing life changing, just a really good cooked salmon! Overall, i liked this place and would want to try other items too! The drinks were strong and tasty as well, I would def come back :)

Definitely recommended. The atmosphere of the back room is quite lovely.

It was my first time in New York and my niece recommended my wife and I go to miss Lilly's. I love reggae and Caribbean food so I knew we'd love this spot. My wife is vegetarian and got the jerk corn and West Indian curry vegetable roti. She loves every last bite of it. I got the jerk chicken and it was delicious. Lots of cool reggae record covers on the wall and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

I am so happy I finally got to try Miss Lily's! We made reservations on a Wednesday at 7PM but called ahead and were able to come in a bit earlier. We were immediately sat down since it was not too crowded and the menu was provided through a QR code. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the music is a straight vibe and the food & drinks are outstanding! ____FOOD:-West Indian Curry Vegetable Roti (traditional vegetable curry stew with pumpkin, potatoes, collard greens and chickpeas served in roti bread with rice and peas)-Mac and Cheese Pie-Jerk French FriesDRINKS:-Dutty Wine (jamaican red sangria)-Pure Passion (soju, triple orange, lime, passion fruit, jerk salt)-Homemade Ginger Beer ____Starting off with the drinks, Miss Lily's has a creative selection of cocktails and seasonal drinks. I was stuck between ordering a few different drinks because they all sounded great but I am so happy I ended up ordering the Pure Passion. Seriously, if you stop by Miss Lily's and you drink, please order this drink. It's absolutely one of the Top 3 drinks I've had in all of 2021. Almost similar to a spicy margarita, the Pure Passion drink is a 10/10 and a few of those will definitely be hitting! Moving onto my meal, I dug into the West Indian Curry Vegetable Roti and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were addicting and they gave a wonderful portion. I split mine in half and enjoyed the other half as leftovers later that night and it heated up perfectly. I also tried the rice and peas through my cousin's dish and it was tasty with the vegetable curry. I recommend ordering some on the side! The mac & cheese pie was also very good and cheesy! It came out pipping hot with the most perfect cheese crust. I took my leftover mac and cheese home too and it heated up well too. Lastly, the french fries with jerk seasoning were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Not too salty with a nice spice to the point where they didn't even need ketchup.Overall, I had an excelled experience at Miss Lily's and will definitely be adding this location to my Food Series. Great staff, dope DJ's, amazing drinks and delicious cuisine! Can't wait to stop by again soon!

Oh man, Miss Lily's is doing EVERYTHING right! I visited the Soho location and made a reservation online a week before. Since my family and I were finished with out activities for the day, I called Miss Lily's an hour and a half before our reservation time to ask if it was okay to come early and they were able to accommodate. If you're looking for endless vibes, good music and tasty food/drinks this is your place! We started off with some apps; the codfish fritters and the hot pepper shrimp. Both we're really good especially with the sauces. For drinks, I ordered a ginger beer, my sister ordered the pure passion margarita and my cousin ordered the duty wine sangria. Drinks were delish especially the pure passion. For our entrees, I had to get the vegetable roti which was AMAZING! My sister ordered the same thing with a side of mac and cheese. My cousin ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and jerk french fries. Our food was phenomenal! Towards the end of our dinner, a DJ arrived playing the jams! These are the types of spot that make NYC. I loved my experience at Miss Lily's and I can't wait to come back!

I want to definitely go back and try more menu items. I also loved the vibes. Great DJ and lots of melanin! I love that this black owned business is thriving. It was a fun time. Will be returning.
