Excellent Indian Food!
We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated quickly. Our food was absolutely delicious, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with fresh naans. Everything was piping hot , right out of the oven.

Perfect! Delightful food, amazing view, who could ask for more? Got there right at dinner opening time, seated by a window with ocean breeze and then finished dinner with the vibrant sunset views. Ate Lamb Vindaloo and Masala, garlic naan and finished with pistachio ice cream. Perfect birthday dinner in Maui!
Be the first to Replyvery tasty Indian
The chicken tandoori was excellent , 7 good sized legs served spicy. The butter chicken was also excellent. Chicken was very tender. Garlic cheese naan served with chutney also great. Great ocean view
Be the first to ReplyNice restaurant, in a desert of culinary offerings
This Indian restaurant is hidden away within the Menehune Shores Apartment complex at 760 South Kihei Rd. The area nearby is a desert for dinning out and you need to drive further along the coast for a decent restaurant. Sat on the water front, this is a pleasant establishment with many indoor tables. We had dinner at a table near the large open windows, looking out over the water. The vegetarian selection was delightful and I had a mild vegetable korma with added cheese pannier. For starters we shared the onion pakoras, which were really light and fluffy. Unfortunately their tap larger was off line, but they had a good selection of bottled beers to compensate. With the cooling breeze blowing through from the water, we had a really enjoyable diner.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, service, and sunset views!
On the recommendation of Fodor's Hawaii tourbook, we drove here from our hotel to eat and watch the sunset. There was nothing disappointing about the stop. The food was excellent as was the service. We go there about 45 minutes before sunset, drank, ate, and took a few pictures. Very enjoyable!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent View, Ok Food
Get a table next to the open air window for sunset. Food was ok. View was great. Asked for spicy and came out with only a bit of heat. Chicken tikka was odd. Came with about eight pieces of small grilled chicken breast on lightly grilled onion slices with a yellow nearly flavorless sauce on the side. Portions are small. Aloo paratha didn't have much filling and the overwhelming taste was of grease and wheat flour. We ordered a bottle of wine and it came out already opened, something that isn't done because you can't tell how long it's been open. If you've eaten Indian food in areas w/ a large Indian community, like Houston or London, you'll be underwhelmed.

The food was excellent. The garlic nan and vegetable biryani were amazing. Service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant
Be the first to ReplyGreat food!
The food was amazing! The service was good. Nice atmosphere and fairly good place to watch the sunset (although it goes down behind the mountain). My only dislike was soda severed in a can, $3.50 each.

Right on the ocean with big windows that let the breeze in. Gorgeous setting. Food is terrific. Nice bar.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location; food ok
Ask for a table close to ocean-facing windows. Food was average; nothing to rave about. Service was decent.
Be the first to ReplyFun and lively place. Good food
The place s tucked away in a condo complex and the seating is basic but comfortable. The restaurant is casual and everyone was having a good time. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. The food was scrumptious (lamb kabob and vegetarian pea and potato dish. Well made maitai.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible customer service!
We went to the restaurant for dinner. We didn't have masks, so we asked the receptionist politely for a mask. She said "We do not provide them" & showed us the door. In COVID era, which establishment does this?

Must visit! Food was great and staff was wonderful. Order Malai Kofta, it was really good! Restaurant was clean too.
Be the first to ReplyPoor service, alright food
Came in without any reservations, had to wait 20 min. We ordered our appetizer and meal and you would think the appetizer would come quickly. We had to wait 40 min for a samosa and 1 hour for our meal? We noticed the family that came after us got their food earlier that we did. The food was at least alright, nothing special though. Bad service with average food.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome!
The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We got there a little early (5:30?) and were able to get a great table with an amazing view. You're inside, but they have a lot of windows open wide and there was a wonderful breeze the whole time. We will definitely be going back!
Be the first to ReplyWho knew, good Indian food in Maui
Looks can be deceiving, as this restaurant is located within a beach site hotel (which does mean plenty of parking), but step inside to an oasis, with pretty much an ocean front view at every table and nice trade winds. Oh yes, there's the food! Lots of good choices to suit everyone's palate (we had carnivores as well as vegans) and the medium spice is really quite mild. The garlic naan was served hot, and the servings were sufficient to share around the table. Service was attentive and helpful.
Be the first to ReplyRestaurant with incredible
Restaurant with incredible sunsets over Lanai. We loved the Chicken Tikki Masala and Butter Chicken (Mahkani) dishes. Since we were staying in Kihei in condos literally over the restaurant, we enjoyed the fresh curry aroma all week long.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful sunset view
The naan here is delicious, and lovers of this comestible should make the pilgrimage. They will be rewarded with wide picture windows overlooking West Maui and the ocean, perfect for sunset dining. The curries are bland, however; the Tandoori is overcooked and dry, and, well, the Aloo Gobi loses a lot in its translation to Maui shores. The Mango Lassi has no salt at all in it...it's just an overly sweet smoothie. Parking is easy, however, and you could perhaps walk off your meal by heading through the sliding glass door afterwards and wandering south to Waipulani park.
Be the first to ReplyNicest owner you’ll ever meet!
We have a picky kiddo when it comes to food. The owner talked to us for a bit, and then brought her out the absolute best butter chicken I’ve ever had in my life! My daughter was thrilled and full! He did it out of the goodness of his heart and the want for her to like Indian cuisine! Wonderful food all around! We all enjoyed our food and walked out happy! Excellent staff!
