The best steakhouse in Portugal! Amazing meal
We went for dinner and made a reservation a week in advance on the suggestion of our friends who ate there before and said you must eat there...one of them is a steak lover and trust his judgement The steak for two was amazing and cooked perfectly and seasoned the right way. The appetizers were good but the Steak was the star The staff was wonderful and attentive. Diego was our server and one of the best we encountered in Portugal When we return to Porto...it would be our first dinner!

I was so excited to try this place after reading such good reviews and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. A gorgeous interior and lovely staff! My waitress (I didn’t catch her name but she had very curly hair) was so attentive and checked in to make sure everything was ok. I am coeliac so needed gluten free and she took the time to explain what I could/could not eat. She even brought some GF bread over which was a nice touch. The fillet steak was gorgeous and cooked to absolute perfection. So happy I came to this restaurant for my last night in Porto.
Amazing steak!
We had the best tasting Xtuleton steak at Muu. The service was spectacular and the food even better. We would highly recommend Muu for a great dinner while in Porto.

Perfect service
Went to Muu Steakhouse in Porto. No table, place was full. But João at the door… absolute legend. We chatted maybe 15 minutes, his English is great, super friendly. Out of nowhere he brings me a glass of champagne. I was already loving Porto, but this guy was definitely one of the highlights. Will be back for sure
Should of been 5 star ⭐ but unfortunately wasn’t
Greeted marvellously 5⭐️ Told how I should have my steak despite me repeatedly stating I’m the one paying I’d like it how we want it it, 1 ⭐️ Missed of are friends main meal off, 1⭐️ Food 5⭐️ A real shame as the food was 5 star, the restaurant greeting was 5 star, but unfortunately don’t argue with how people like there steak it ruined are experience of a otherwise great restaurant.
Terrible experience.
- Dinned last night - 5 people - Terrible service - 1 out of 5 at best. 3 servers would come and go without any coordination. Head floor person, a young man wearing glasses(as reference), extremely short fuse, rude, impatient. We asked for burrata and grilled octopus, both on the online menu, he almost attacked us stating, "we never had that". - Tomahawk steak - 2 out of 5 at best. - Side dishes - 4 out of 5. - Dessert - 3 out of 5. Still wondering how they got an average of over 4 out of 5. Plus they overcharged $80 for 2 extra desserts and a different cut meat at 5 euro per 100/gr difference for a total of 60 euro. Our mistake. Did not check the numbers before departure.
OUTSTANDING and not to be missed
OUTSTANDING! This restaurant is not to be missed. You have to email to get a reservation but they are very responsive. It is a relatively small restaurant but you feel pampered and like family. The service is phenomenal. The only thing better is the food! The steak was SO good that we ended up going twice in our 4 days in Porto. I highly recommend this restaurant.
OMG
When a restaurant gets everything right, great welcome, fab service and excellent food you know it will be a memorable evening! Well this was, I cannot thank Tiago and Jessica enough for such a memorable last night to our holiday. Best fillet steak I have ever had (and I’ve had many). Jessica is a total delight and Tiago looked after us so well. You feel like you’ve had an evening with friends. You must visit!
Classy, sexy steakhouse
Great food with personalized attention. Comic strip art, cozy tables, loved the bathroom, sorry I didn't take pix of it. Joao at the front welcomed us with a cool sparkling drink. Our ribeye was cooked perfectly
Beyond 5 stars
Absolutely phenomenal food, wine and the steaks just melt in your mouth but the star of the restaurant are the employees and chef who welcomes you with nothing but humble smiles and kindness and makes your dinner experience more then five stars. The complimentary champagne toast when you walk in is beyond kind gesture. The moment you walk in you can tell that MUU is an example of a restaurant that is not only about gain of money but gain of smiles from customers in the most humble way :)
10/10 would visit again
Fantastic restaurant, incredible waiter Dino who was so helpful with the recommendations. His service was exceptional, I would definitely come back!! The food, the wine - everything was perfect.

My parents told me all about their previous experience at Muu. They told me that my boyfriend and I had to go when we visited Porto - and I'm so grateful for their recommendation. Firstly, the glass of champagne on arrival whilst we waited for our table was a lovely touch. Secondly, our waitress (Alice? I hope that was her name!) was absolutely lovely. She really couldn't have been any kinder, her knowledge of wines was extremely helpful, and her advice on what to order food-wise was really beneficial. She really went out of her way to help us and make our evening perfect. The food was another level.. seriously tasty. You 100% have to try it to believe it! Worth every penny. We will be dreaming about the food until our next visit! Thank you Alice!
Top Notch Experience!
Had an amazing dinner at MUU steakhouse. The food was tasty and great and the wine was perfect especially the port wine. We had an amazing guide through this culinary journey,”Dino”, his recommendations were one spot and so helpful. Kudos to MUU Steakhouse. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Porto!

We went to MUU for our Anniversary and they made it the most special evening for us! We were honestly treated like royalty, the staff were so so friendly, personal and helpful. This was by far the best place we ate at during our time at Porto and the best experience for such a great price. Thanks for making it so special x
Excellent Steakhouse
We reviewed this restaurant on trip advisor and booked ahead of our trip to Porto. When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of prosecco and we were then led to our table. The decor was amazing and ambience was excellent. The manager was very attentive and the service was excellent. The T-Bone was cooked to perfection with both starters and desert delicious. On finishing the meal we sat in the lobby enjoying the view with a couple of glasses of 10 year old port. Truly memorable.
Exceptional Hospitality and Culinary Excellence
Muu is an excellent choice if you want exceptional hospitality and passionate service. I had gone here with a larger group of friends while traveling throughout Portugal, and we were met with complementary wine and unwavering accommodation despite our party size. Everything on the menu was impeccable, but Johnny's Scotch was an exceptional start to our meal. We had ordered the T-Bone and requested it be sliced on a platter. When we received the entree, it was beautifully presented, and our server also asked to cook up some of the thicker parts of the steak despite us not requesting so. The service at Muu is incredible, with a high degree of charisma, professionalism, and attention to detail. Nothing about our experience felt scripted but as if we had been regulars of this restaurant for years. Overall, the dining experience was without complaint, and the experience profoundly impacted my peers and me. Thank you to the wonderfully talented chefs and staff in the kitchen for the experience; we won't forget it.
Best Steak I Have Ever Eaten
We booked the restaurant for our anniversary meal. And so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing. I have to say that it was the best steak I have ever eaten, it melted in our mouths. The rice we ordered with the meal was amazing! And as the desserts…gorgeous! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The venue is excellent, very clean. The Michelin Awards need to visit the restaurant and award it a star. An absolute must visit if you want a top class steak and a top class dining experience.
AMAZING
Amazing experience from start to finish. The staff couldn't of been more helpful. They were so polite and professional. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Porto. I will definitely be returning here on my next visit. The best steak I have ever had.

An amazing birthday meal out at the fantastic Muu restaurant. A huge thank you to Alice & Dino who really looked after us and made our evening special. What an incredible restaurant. We booked ahead by way of email. The menu has a lot to offer and is fabulous. We were greater by the staff at the front door and the reception couldn’t have been more welcoming. We had the fillet steak and a tomahawk between two of us. Cooked to perfection. A lovely range of wines and ports to complement the meal and the deserts were amazing thanks for a fab meal

Sempre alla ricerca di opzioni carnivore, ieri ho voluto provare questo posto, tirando un po' alla cieca, dopo una ricerca su google e Tripadvisor. Direi che mi è andata decisamente bene, tutto ottimo, eravamo in tre e tutti eravamo soddisfatti della scelta. Io ho preso una ribeye di angus USA ed era molto buona e tenera. Cottura medium-rare come richiesto. Buon servizio, con bollicine e quadratino di polenta e una salsa che non ricordo offerti dalla casa. Ottimo.

Great Food and Great People! Made our arrival into Porto very special. Fillet was perfect. The Spinach side was outstanding. The mushroom appetizer off the charts. All perfect and special time. Most of all, I enjoyed meeting Alma, John and others. Love the food and the people. Go soon!
My favourite restaurant
Impeccable service, friendly , attentive and the food was prepared to perfection. We were lost and arrived late but the staff were welcoming and did not rush us. Really tried to y our likes and dislikes and recommended accordingly. It was one of my great dinning experiences.
Probably one of the best meals I’ve had
I was in Porto with 3 friends and we really wanted to get in here. Luckily they managed to squeeze us in, and gave us some lovely champagne whilst we waited. The service was so personal and knowledgeable. The wine we had was bloody expensive but hands down one of the best reds I’ve ever had. I had a seafood starter, which was out of this world. We then shared a tomahawk and porterhouse between us. It was all so good, bit on the expensive side but as always you get what you pay for. We were very merry when we got there but were looked after so well Will definitely be coming here again when I go back to Porto!!
Fabulous steak, amazing service.
MUU is an excellent place to enjoy amazing food, fabulous waiters all in a modern setting that is warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Our waitstaff was wonderfully kind, knowledgeable, and led us to great food and wine choices. We were greeted with a lovely meatball taster that set the tone for a delicious dining experience. Our hotel Canto De Luz made our reservations for us several days prior which made for a very stress-free evening experience. Uber made going to and from the restaurant a breeze. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Muu Steakhouse Porto to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Muu Steakhouse Porto!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
