For my last sit-down meal in Brooklyn, my sister took me to
For my last sit-down meal in Brooklyn, my sister took me to her local ramen spot which is Nana Ramen. It's a small and cozy restaurant with plenty of ramen options to choose from. I decided on the kimchi ramen (added minced pork) and the sausage appetizer. The sausage and karaage (that my sister ordered) were great! A meal could easily be made from these two apps alone. The kimchi ramen was perfect. Soup tasted mildly like kimchi chigae but a much lighter version. I enjoyed all of the toppings in the ramen, too (corn, seaweed. Bok choy, kimchi). It wasn't overwhelming and there were plenty of noodles, too! Service was fine, albeit a little slow at times but there seems to be only one lady that is overseeing the FOH. Also - this place is CASH ONLY.
Be the first to ReplyThey only take cash, the food was not that great.
The service was nice. If you're into Ramen you will likely enjoy but for a newbie like me it didn't make me feel like I'm missing anything.
Be the first to ReplyFood was amazing.
The chicken meatball shoyu bowl was out of this world. The shrimp shumai and the gyoza was amazing!!! The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because they are cash only...
Be the first to ReplyThis place was good but it wasn't the best.
The service is excellent which is why I didn't knock off too many stars. However, the broth lacks in flavor. It's good if you're new to ramen but I've been to many places and this just doesn't have the flavor profile to be Tonkotsu ramen. Also, the Agedashi tofu was okay. It didn't have a crispy texture that I'm used to having but the dashi broth was very flavorful.

Good solid food that tastes fresh and delicious every time! The ambiance is nice with the low lighting and lots of little creative decoration choices that make the space feel warm and comfortable. The service is nice but they only have 1 person running the cash register, delivering food, and taking orders so things take a little bit. I wouldn't recommend this place for authentic Japanese food/Ramen but it's still great! Also it's CASH ONLY! But there is an atm in the building.

I dis overes this restaurant in 2019 and the Ramen broth is succulent. The Karage is crispy season es to perfection and very moist...COVID came and changed our weekly gatherings, but for me, this restaurant is a staple in Bed Stuy.
Be the first to ReplyI would recommend ordering the spicy miso ramen.
It was so delicious. They are quick in serving you. Please note that they only accept cash for payment and no credit cards. Overall, it's a cute place to dine and the atmosphere of the place is very peaceful.
Be the first to ReplyBest ramen I've ever had! The spicy miso is incredible.
Don't forget the dumplings. Amazing gem in Bed-stuy and a must try!
Be the first to ReplyI think Nana Ramen is not very authentic Japanese? Curry
I think Nana Ramen is not very authentic Japanese? Curry ramen has coconut milk in it, so it definitely has a Thai-influence. I was expecting the brown Japanese curry flavor, so that was a bit disappointing. There's also bokchoy in it, so it's confusing. I don't hate the black tonkatsu, but the soft-boiled egg doesn't work in ramen like this. And there's only 1/2 of it. Again, I expected the soy-marinated one. The chicken karaage is good, and I like the crispy batter with the skin on. Overall, Nana Ramen's food gets 3.5/5. Decent prices for nyc! Staff mask, and service is fast for a Fri night dine-in. Interior is nice and modern, and I like the industrial light fixtures! CASH ONLY! If you're hungry, it's a decent spot for Asian food in the area. I don't think I will be back.
Be the first to ReplyWhat can I say about good ramen? It's freaking good.
Spicy miso had a good kick but honestly wasn't too spicy, could've had more heat. But the broth was really flavorful, I didn't let a single drop go to waste! Nice small ramen spot! Cash only though!! But luckily there is an ATM inside the shop in case you need it.

Very good, quality food! Never disappointed! Also they have the best cream brรปlรฉe I've ever tried! Definitely recommend to try their cuisine.

Was craving ramen again and decided to grab a bowl here for take out during lunch hour. I ordered the Black Tonkotsu ramen and it was packaged nicely with the soup in a separate pint. It hit the spot - nice springy noodles, Japanese wood ear, two slices of chashu, a soft boiled egg in a flavorful broth. Restaurant was very quiet during a weekday lunch hour and service was friendly. Cash only though - $17.40 in total.
Be the first to ReplyI really enjoyed this place.
I loved the customer service. It was small and cute. I enjoy that vibe. I would have liked more non pork options for the Ramen but I think that's how ramen is typically made so I might just be a bit of a brat. Overall I thought it was a nice place, it was a rainy day so perfect for Ramen. They also had a green tea crรจme Brulee which I thought was really cool. I love crรจme brรปlรฉe. I'm sometimey about green tea flavored food so I didn't love the taste but I'm biased. I think it's def worth a try and if you enjoy green tea as a flavor I'm sure it'll be a hit! I also had the shrimp shumai which was really tasty! There were small shrimp on the top of the shumai which I thought was a nice touch

Most definitely my fav ramen spot in brooklyn so far I had that lovely spicy miso and added ground pork...so good I had it for breakfast and now it's dinner and I'm going back!
Be the first to ReplyThe atmosphere is so classic and intimate.
The food is lovely anything I this of Raman I think of Nana's. The service is a lil slow depending on the day you go; they get very busy.
Be the first to ReplyThe ramen is sooooo good and cozy.
I don't think there's a better spot in Brooklyn. The flavors are always so well blended and they give great portions! So worth it. Note: they only take cash, but they do have a vending machine in the back!
Be the first to Replythe best ramen in the area.
well, there isn't much in the area, to be frank. but it's still damn good! great price too! $16 for a super solid ramen. I like the chicken karage as well. there is one lady who usually serves there. she is very nice! efficient, fast service. kind of cute for a date spot, I think. bring cash tho. cards aren't accepted. but there is an atm that sometimes works inside!.
Be the first to ReplyWe walked long for this ramen treat.
Hands down the BEST VEGGIE RAMEN I've ever had! The veggie ramen was made with coconut milk...heavenly! We loved the little cabanas out back and my son really enjoyed his bowl too.
Be the first to ReplyGoogles a ramen place ended up here.
Service is great, servers are friendly. I only tried the nana curry and added chicken meat balls. It was great, could of used a bit more flavor but you can probably just add a pinch of salt yourself and it'll be complete. I definitely will be back again to try more.
Be the first to ReplyAvoid at all costs.
Idk what ramen they serve here but it's not good. This is a cash only establishment. My noodles were hard & my broth was cold food was rushed out & there was hardly anyone in the establishment. Chicken was ... well just look at the picture!
