Good food
Came here for dinner one night whilst staying in Dublin. The food was good and the staff were friendly and polite. I would happily come here again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat venue, super food and even better service!
Great food, an amazing experience and even better customer service! We visited the venue as part of a tour. The food was exceptional, typical Irish food. The service provided by Gill was amazing. He was so cheerful and paid attention to detail about all the food allergies. Nothing was a bother!

Enjoyable food, drinks and atmosphere, however on complaints of the table being very sticky this was still the case after it was โcleanedโ
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and atmosphere!
Stopped her for lunch after touring the Guinness Experience and it was amazing! Great food, service and atmosphere. Bangers and mash, Mac and cheese, chicken clubs sandwich and ham and cheese toastie were amazing!!! Exactly what we needed on a wet and windy day.
Be the first to ReplyA real Irish pub
Excellent food, great experience as an Irish pub including bar quality service (not a fine dining service). Don't be put off that the Big Bus Hop on Hop off has a coupon for here for a free helping of Guinness; it doesn't need that promotion to be worthwhile. An old bar in an old building with great folk and get the seafood chowder.
Be the first to ReplyThe bar is pretty and worth a visit, but donโt eat here!
Came here for lunch with the free Guinness ticket from our Big Bus Tour, food was horrible. Soggy salad, soggy burger bun with vegan option, hair in the sauce, bone in chicken burger, grease pouring off the beef burger, chips tasted off and when asked to replace them we were just given more of the same. Refused to swap out the free half Guinness for a soft drink for one of the party that doesnโt drink, the table was sticky, all in all not a great experience and I wouldnโt recommend doing more than having a drink here.

We were looking forward to a nice meal and the free Guinness as per our Big Bus ticket offer. Sadly all we got was a grumpy staff person who ignored us and when we asked if we could order we got โcanโt you see Iโm busyโ. We walked out and went to the next pub down โP.Duggansโ where the service and food was outstanding. And the meal price better.

Had dinner here with a tour group very busy seating upstairs and downstairs food was ok service was ok just a bit loud and crowded ok for dinner

Was expecting more. A busy atmosphere, we had a great table for our reservation. Waitress was very disappointing as well as the entertainment. Food is hit and miss, Burger is great, nachos not so good. Its ok if you need a quick bite to eat.
Be the first to ReplyCheck the glasses
Typical Irish pub setting, good variety of foods, but only 1 vegetarian option (veggie burgher). Had to send back the water glasses since weren't at all cleaned, both still with someone's lipstick on the rims. Guess that's why it's so dark inside.
Be the first to ReplyNot very welcoming
Walked in, stood at bar and were ignored. When I did get someoneโs attention he was arrogant and quite frankly horrible. I asked for cider and half Guinness. He charged me gave me the cider and never returned. Had to get another staff member to get the Guinness and she wasnโt much better. Avoid especially the ginger beard and bleach blond hair ๐
Be the first to ReplyFabulous venue and excellent food
The food here really is excellent. We had a meal here over Easter weekend and it was so good we went back a second time. The pub itself is fabulous and we were made to feel really welcome on both occasions. With thanks from the table of 13 who you managed to accommodate at short notice on Easter Sunday.

We had a table of six people that ordered from a lunch menu, ordered stew, bangers and mash and toasted sandwiches. The stew was tepid,Bangers and mash for 18e,two scopes of mash and three sausages, still hungry after the same and when requested onion on ham and cheese toasted charged extra 1.50e on the bill for onion, lunch cost 110e and drank tap water, will not be returning, extremely overpriced and food and service like the stew was tepid!

We went here two times. Once the first day and the second time on my birthday. She didnโt ask me to write this, but both times we were served by the wonderful Tara who was just great! There was nice food, good drink and great music. Also, all of the staff was actually pretty approachable and friendly, just for the record, but I just didnโt have time to get to know them all equally. Weโve been to several pubs during our vacation, but only here we felt at home, with our Irish family. 10 out of 10 - would visit again.

Probably the best Burger I've ever eaten! We entered by reference and honestly it was a very pleasant experience with a super friendly team! I totally recommend it!

Worst service I've ever had, I only waited about 30 minutes to get the menu, the food stayed on my stomach until the next day!!!
Be the first to ReplyExpensive and Poor hospitality
Had lunch there with 2 of my family after a hospital visit. Food was only OK. Had the bangers and mash. Asked if they could substitute the peas for a few chips. Said they couldnt do it because the price differential was too large. So I got chips on the side for 5.50. The bangers and mash was already 18 euro. There were 2 average size Sausages and a boat load of thin gravy with cold mash. They charged 1.50 for a glass of water with miwadi. Lunch for 3 came to 75 euro. If this is typical of Dublin hospitality I am staying in the west where they know how to treat you and encourage repeat business.

Delicious food. Very friendly staff. And a nice pint of Guinness . Homemade soup and really good burgers

We chose this place because it was very close to our hotel. Almost by chance then. Very nice typical place, excellent food and excellent service. Good soup of the day and a wide choice of meats and fish. Definitely moderate prices.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Pub
Lovely Irish Pub. Located close to the Ashling Hotel and train station. Hopped off the hop on hop off bus , and walked to the pub. Service was quick and the Guiness stew was yummy along with my First glass of Guiness after a long flight from Toronto to Dublin. Read the reviews on the pub on trip advisor before my trip.
