What a discombobulated mess.
The menu reads like you are supposed to go through a 3 course fine dining experience, unless you want to order a greasy pizza with incredibly expensive drinks. Don't go the courses route! The mains are enough for 2-3 people, which makes the very small appetizers weird. It's almost like the Executive Chef, who has quite the resume, is at odds with management. That comment doesn't include the coffee table height table we were seated at, with a server who was very nice, but confused and constantly apologizing for her missteps. That's not her fault, it's management's. The food was subpar for the expectation. The A5 wagyu ate more like choice prime rib, and was undercooked and under seared. The shrimp fettuccine, advertised as a hard to find shrimp from Mexico, with a Filipino kare kare sauce, tasted like the shrimp was wrapped in plastic. It ruined the dish. There was no acidity whatsoever and it was overly salted on top of severely overcooked shrimp. But hey, the purple flowers on it were pretty. The appetizers, which are the the right size for a 3 course meal, were just ok. It was also very loud inside. I don't know whether to call this place a nice bar or a fancy restaurant. They need to decide what their identity is. It could be something great.

If you don't like hearing planes fly by, this place isn't for you. Beautiful restaurant/bar with a large open feel. Love their customer service, even when packed. Food is delish and custom cocktails are even better! Just tell the bartender what you feel like having, sweet or a bit bitter, etc., and they'll create something cool. Why here? Service -check, food -check, drinks -check, ambiance -check, add good people (better clientele) and a cool old school flight board that flips to show the plane flying overhead!Yes, inside is nice but highly recommend making reservations to dine outdoors. Best seating is on W. Juniper St. side of the restaurant.

This restaurant is beautiful but I think it's overpriced for the food experience they serve. I ordered the Wagu Eggs Benedict $35 and was underwhelmed. Meat lacked seasoning. I also ordered a side of fruit $5, which came out nicely chopped and placed but brown... Great ambiance but just know, if you eat here, you're paying for the aesthetics and nice drinks more so than food. Waiter was fantastic! Oh, and just so you know, parking is $25 for less than 2 hours
Be the first to ReplyWhat a fun place for dinner.
We lived watching the planes fly over as we walked to the restaurant. Too bad it was too cold for us to eat outside. The charcuterie board was great - so much variety and perfect for our group of four. It would've been nice to grab a few more pieces of bread or perhaps some crackers. We all liked the salmon belly crudo. For our mains, the salmon was the winner. The oxtail pizza and bolognese cavatelli coming in second. The vegan tamales has potential, but were drowning in sauce. Service was good... but not always present. Our waitress was covering a large area with some large groups, so we had a longer than desired period between finishing our starters and ordering dinner. (With empty water and wine glasses, of course)
Be the first to ReplyProbably some of my favorite dough in all of San Diego.
Food is great however, with these prices, you expect that the food, ambiance and service all match. That isn't the case, as in the most recent days, service has been subpar.

Nolita Hall is a great place to visit if you're looking for a night out with friends. The restaurant has an open space concept which adds to its vibrant atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making for an enjoyable experience. The food is amazing and highly recommended, especially their pizzas and pastas. We also had some espresso martinis which were delicious and refreshing.Overall, Nolita Hall is a great spot to visit for dinner, drinks, and a fun night out. The only downside is that it can get quite busy on weekends, so it's recommended to make a reservation to avoid a long wait time.

Our server was soooo amazing! And the food was also delicious. Beautiful spot, cute for pictures and a girls night out.
Be the first to ReplyFood was good but an unpleasant dinning experience.
Avoid sitting at a table next to the bar, ppl were just so disrespectful and put their drinks on your dinner table and casually sit on your bench like they are joining your dinner. What's wrong with people here. Restaurant should have better lay out to avoid such awkward situation.
Be the first to ReplyOverall average/mediocre weekday experience.
The waitress (I forget her name) was very kind and funny. The establishment is very esthetically pleasing with decent drinks! I say decent because the drinks were pretty inconsistent. I can't say I recommend the food. Presentation solid A, quality ingredients, however, the meal (salmon entree and Brussels) came out lukewarm to room temperature which wasn't pleasant. With the highly recommended Brussels coming out very over sauced/soggy.Been before for drinks only, recommend that. Won't necessarily be running back to Nolita Hall to dine any time soon though.

Had a great brunch experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and a decent portion. The vibes were on point and super friendly staff. I gave four stars because I do think it was a little overpriced, but other than that I have no complaints! I recommend getting the Cali pizza because it was delicious and big enough to share with others.
Be the first to ReplyCame here for pre dinner drinks.
Really great spot with a lot of atmosphere. Cocktails were very good. It's like a very upscale a d hip sports bar. Will be back!

Great pizza, very cute date spot, went in the winter and sat by the fire, which was very cozy! They had all of their Christmas decorations up when we went in December, and it was so cute! The service was great as well, we got our food really fast. Great wine selection. Recommend making a reservation!
Be the first to ReplyThey might have been having a bad morning.
.....We were there on Sunday 8/07/22 and were anticipating a great experience for a friend's bday, we were a group of 7. It failed to materialize. The server was doing her best to handle a kitchen that was apparently overwhelmed by the Sunday brunch crowd. To start we ordered the French toast board appetizer which arrived burnt and cold, oh the irony. From there they brought out our individual entree orders in groups of 2, separated by at least 5 minutes every time they brought 2 more orders. The side orders of latkes and scrambled eggs someone in our party ordered arrived about 10 min after we had all finished eating. It's really difficult to judge the food at this point because I was so disappointed with the whole experience but most said their food was good despite the protracted table service. Just based on the cost, the lack of wait staff, and a burnt out kitchen crew we won't be going back.

Beautiful location! I loved the natural plants, the outdoor seating as well as the food. Nolita is located near Little Italy so be prepared to take some time to find parking. I came during happy hour. The menu was very small but I enjoyed a refreshing aperol spritzer and meatballs. The meatballs were delicious!! They definitely satisfied my craving. They were paired with a tzatziki sauce that hit the spot!
Be the first to ReplyThe service was great, but the vegan choices were
The service was great, but the vegan choices were absolutely horrendous. They have VO - Vegan Option, but they just remove the non-vegan items and do not replace it with more veggies. They don't balance the food flavors so it taste good. The salad I had was so acidic; it turned out to just be arugula with a vinaigrette. The price was of course the same.

This place has a nice welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very attentive. They have a modern interior with plants hanging everywhere, which gives it a cozy, elevated feel. We had the roasted mushrooms which were presented well and had a nice balance of flavors. For drinks we had Knuck if you Buck and the gang buys a boat. Both we flavorful without being too overpowering. I personally cannot stand overly sugary drinks (my go-to drink is an old fashion), so I appreciated the flavor profile of these drinks. Would definitely recommend and come back!
Be the first to ReplyParking stinks but there is a lot across the street.
They have a great outdoor seating area but it's right on the flight path and every few minutes a very loud airplane comes running in. Food is quite delicious but portions are extremely small and very expensive. Overall it is nice but not sure I would go back during the day only because of the airplanes. Cute patio area though. Had the Agua Chile to start. Ordered focaccia which fell apart and was not toasted. Aguachile had a lot of delicious liquid to it, but no spoon was served. Could have been served with the bread but I paid extra for Brad.We had the Jalisco pizza, which was served with Burris whole sauce sauce which was unbelievable. I had the arugula salad which was OK. Did the trick to get some veggies in. I also had the venison meatballs which was simply delicious.Overall OK, not sure I will be back but a good experience to try it out.Parking stinks but there is a lot across the street. Be the first to ReplyLove the place, very nice atmosphere and decor.
But I think the menu is too short. Could have a little bit more options.
Be the first to ReplyParking in Little Italy is not it - highly suggest taking
Parking in Little Italy is not it - highly suggest taking an Uber/Lyft. The ambiance - absolutely beautiful! We came for dinner but I can 100% see this being an amazing brunch spot. The plants + skylights? Come ON. The food:- Cheese & Charcuterie Board: run of the mill - good but not lifechanging.- Sea Bass Agua Chile: Pretty good, not fishy. Would order again. - Jalisco: I LOVE all things birria, so naturally I had to get this little number. Tasty and very filling. - Lobster Cavatelli: Wanted to love this but it was definitely undercooked - I wanted al dente but it was giving al hard. The staff was super friendly, patient and fun. It was a bachelorette dinner, so naturally we were a little intoxicated but they humored us. Shoutout to our waiter Stephen - keep the babies/tiny hands and think of us fondly.
Be the first to ReplyDrinks suck service also sucks.
I'd rather eat at birger ling. Then trash hole. Does look dirty?
Be the first to ReplyParking in little Italy is a pain.
There's ACE parking structure at the corner or paid street parking. If you're lucky, you'll find a free spot in front of a residential home.We had our fur babies with us and made a reservation to sit outside at 5:45pm. They told us it's a 2 hour time limit and we had to be done by 7:30pm because another party is booked after us.I saw dogs inside too so I suppose if you want to stay longer, you should book standard seating because there were a handful of empty tables. This place serves a little bit of everything from salad to veggies, pizzas to land, sea and pasta dishes. For a party of 6, we ordered all plates to share.-Jalisco ($22) - Birria pizza in 6 slices with a side of consome (birria broth).-Venison meatballs ($16) - 4 large meatballs on a skewer w apricot mostarda which is like a chutney.-Charred octopus ($18) - I love octopus but it's not worth it for this price. It's good but you only get 4 - one inch pieces which is like a tentacle of a small octopus surrounded by cucumbers.-La scala chop ($18) - similar to a typical wedge salad-Pork back ribs ($18) - came with 4 ribs and the flavor taste like an Asian marination with five spice topped with crushed peanuts.-Duck fettuccine ($34) - This would be my favorite and I could it all myself. It was sweet and savory and had more mushrooms than duck pieces.-Wood fried asparagus ($16) - Interesting twist with the breadcrumbs, salsa verde and soft boiled egg. However, I would skip this dish too. It was a joke to pay $16 for a few strands of asparagus.I would say the 7 dishes we ordered would be perfect for a party of 4 max. So order more or you'll leave hungry.Their drinks were delicious. The gang buys a boat - sweet refreshing with yuzu, lemon grass, coconut, ginger, lime, ProseccoFloor is guava - tequila, mole bitters, tequila, guava, lemon. Not refreshing or sweet but gave me a good buzz after these two drinks. On Weds+Thurs, they have $1 oysters all day!

I love this place!! I've been here before with a large group and had a great time, but just returned today and had the best experience with our server, connor! It's like he read our minds and knew exactly what we wanted to order and made such great recommendations on the food and even additions to things we could add to the menu items. Also the mushroom tartine was so good I texted my mom about it!! 10/10 would recommend

Oh man, we were having such a great time for our friend's bday until the manager Jillian came over to us. We had a big party and rented out the space to celebrate, but she came over to tell us the furniture was bolted to the floor and shouldn't move (we must be really strong. We did lift today!)So here's the thing, I've done 10 years in restaurant business. There's a way to get what you want from customers, without being disrespectful. Jillian woke up today and chose violence. This person should not be managing other people. She's just angry overall as a human. Maybe some vitamins and sunshine? In any case, Blake is a really great server. Nolita isn't known for their food; let's be honest it's pizza. But Blake brought a really great vibe to our party and we would consider booking another private event because of his efforts. Jillian, I'm sorry to whomever hurt you. Please reconsider helping people have a better time celebrating their friend's bday (who is an ER nurse). :)
Be the first to ReplyI loved dinning here.
I love the vibe of the place. There re airplanes flying over the restaurant every 5 minutes which I though was so cool. The cocktail was amazing. I loved it. I have the green with envy which was deliciously made. Everything was yummy and the service was impeccable. I highly suggest getting the French toast board. That was my favorite thing thing. I couldn't stop eating it.
Be the first to ReplyI was so disappointed in Nolita hall tonight.
We've been here before and it was great which is why when our 3 friends were visiting from out of town we figured it would be the perfect spot to go on a Friday night for dinner. I made the reservation on 3/25 for 4/8 which is well in advance. For a 7:15pm Friday dinner reservation - they shoved 4 men and myself onto a small couch with 2 end tables as our "table".Because the tables were so small we were forced to eat our food in our laps and I don't even do this in my own home. ย For $200+ dollars I would expect a regular sized table to house ย our plates and drinks. This was an awful impression to leave on our friends. Horrible experience I won't be coming back and won't be recommending to anyone.
