What a phenomenal experience.
Warm hospitality from the moment you walk in. Outstanding food with exceptional attention to detail. So many employees, from all different positions, touched the table, including the manager. Really looked after us! Amazing teamwork, food was great and beautifully presented
Be the first to ReplyHad a great birthday dinner experience.
Food was amazing! Friendly service with great ambiance.
Be the first to ReplySaturday night in the city can't expect too much.
.. it's a given everyone is out on a Saturday night , probably was a DJ night kinda vibe. The food was good .. shared the tomahawk for 2 and it was phenomenal. The tables were so close together that I felt a little squished. The upside waiters were available when needed. Personally, I prefer the other location, more low key, which is my personal preference.
Be the first to ReplyI actually went to the one in London.
We had the A5 Japanese Wagyu. Wow. A bomb and their signature cocktail Godfather. I can't drink. But I heard it's also fabulous. Must go!
Be the first to ReplyI am very shocked that people are not happy with this
I am very shocked that people are not happy with this restaurant. Yes it is expensive, but to me it was worth every penny. I went for my birthday, it was so good I had to come back within 2 weeks. My friend made reservations for 4 people on a Thursday night for my birthday. The restaurant wasn't too packed which was great. They had a DJ playing music, but it wasn't too loud which I like, and it wasn't music that is on the radio. Which is fine as well. From the time we walked in we were greeted in a way that actually felt welcoming. My friends and I are all black and sometimes when I go to restaurants where the majority of the white staff, I can get a welcome but it will sometimes not feel sincere. At Nusret, it was the exact opposite. They felt happy that we were there. They genuinely seemed excited that we were there. Our waiter Ali was amazing! He tended to us on hand and foot. Which I can understand why some guest might not like that because it can feel like hovering. But for me, I love that your right there at the drop of the dime when I need the waiter. The drinks were amazing, one of the best margaritas I've ever had. Also I was never a fan of lychee martinis but after trying my friends drink, that's all I decided to have the rest of the night. Also there was a very sweet black woman that brought us our drinks, she was lovely! So we ordered the $500.00 wagyu steak for 4 and let me tell you. It was the best steak I've ever had in my life! And I go to steakhouses(Jakes, Stk, Gordon Ramsey, Ruth Chris, old homestead). I don't play when it comes to steak. And this steak was by far the best steak I've ever had and all my friends who are steak eaters( we eat our steak medium rare), also agreed. I love that Ali put on a show for us, with the fog on the table. Which I see some people don't like, what's not to like about that?! Also the Salt Bae guys( since the real salt bae was not there, the restaurant has other substitutes for guys that come out to the table and does the same thing Salt bae does, which was fine with me) we're amazing. They fed me the steak which MELTED in my mouth. I literally felt like a princess! My experience was soo wonderful, I told my boyfriend about it and he didn't believe it was the best steak I've ever had. I came back within 2 weeks with my boyfriend, on a Saturday, had Ali again as my server, and my boyfriend now agrees that it was the best steak he's ever had. We are actually going back again on New Years Eve. The sides were also delicious,we had the onion tower, the Mac and cheese, and I think spinach. I haven't tried any other steak this place offers so maybe I am being biased because wagyu steak is a very great cut of steak. But this place checks all the boxes for me, great food, great drinks, great service. I honestly can't get enough of this place. If I was rich I would probably be there once a week. Definitely my favorite steakhouse now.
Be the first to ReplyOur second visit.
Disappointed. It's all about the experience. Brought family four this time. Unfortunately we felt rushed and the food was just okay which makes you feel it's WAY WAY over priced. Our waiter was kind of smug. Quick answers. Not engaging. Ordered the Filet - came with mushrooms and onions. We excluded that since we don't like onions and it was very bland with no flavor for $72. Crazy. Waiter said they have no sauce available. Thank goodness we ordered a filet for two special doused in butter at the table. We all used that to add flavor to the filets. Overall I think for $475 for four people you can find another steak house with more quality. Our experience last time was fun. YMMV depends on who your waiter is...
Be the first to ReplyFriday night and only one table occupied at 830 should have
Friday night and only one table occupied at 830 should have been the first clue that this was going to be a terrible experience. They ended up closing an hour early bc no one was inside. We soon found out why no one was there. We ordered the ny strip, then the server proceeded to pour liquid nitrogen around it, under the impression this was something we were looking forward to. A cold steak wasn't exactly what I had anticipated enjoying tonight, but it got worse when I actually tried to eat it. The steak wasn't just cold, it tasted awful. Asked if there was any bearnaise, steak sauce or just butter to help, they only have ketchup. Save yourself a few $100 and go anywhere else. This restaurant is stale, generic, and overpriced for some of the lowest quality steak I've ever eaten.

Terrible food! Food is overrated go to a real steak house and save your money. It was mainly an internet sensation and prices are way high for what you get. Most people just go here for saying did that, done. But you can get great food for a lot less in so many places in NYC. Steak is too fatty and to oily. Would go to Sparks or other steak houses instead of this one. Also many other restaurants offer better Turkish food.

if you're gonna go here -- get the burger!!!! from my understanding the steaks are overpriced and not good but the burger was literally amazing. it's halal and it's probably the best burger i've ever eaten. melt in your mouth type of meat. i honestly think it's worth the price point given the quality. the place was absolutely dead on a monday night so we literally had the restaurant to ourselves. that being said, service was absolutely not up to par with other steakhouses of the same caliber. waiters are simply not trained the way that they should be to work at a fine dining restaurant. not the perfect experience, but if you want a really good burger and don't care about service it's worth it imo.
Be the first to ReplyFrom start to finish everything was absolutely on point.
A truly unforgettable experience and would 100% recommend and would go back again!

Not.Worth. It. In NYC you have a thousand dining options and a ton of which are steakhouses that have either been given accolades or are worthy of such. This is not one. This is a product of a social media boom over a dude dripping rock salt down his forearm. Big whop. Go to Del Frisco, Lugers, Sparks.. hell go to Outback over this overpriced clown show.
Be the first to ReplyFor all the hype and high cost, this place is not worth
For all the hype and high cost, this place is not worth it!! The ambiance is nice and music not too loud. And the tables are spaced well. Tonight the "insta star" owner was in for photo ops...And the service is great!! But once the food arrives the place spirals down! The food is far from good. The flash presenting the food is what made the owner famous... but the taste is mediocre at best. And the portions are ridiculously small and the price ridiculously high....I did not have red meat but my girlfriend and her son did... my fish was tasteless and their steaks fair and tiny...Don't waste your time and money, we went to another restaurant to eat after as we were still hungry!!!
Be the first to ReplyService was horrible.
Our waiter was pushy, sarcastic and rude. Best steak ever but I'll probably go to another location next time.
Be the first to ReplyIve been wating to try Nusr-Et Steakhouse ever since I
Ive been wating to try Nusr-Et Steakhouse ever since I discovered "salt bae" on social media ! I finally got to do so on a busy weekend night. First off, the place is absolutely beautiful inside. Its a very modern-sheek vibe. There was a live dj which I really loved; it was a perfect addition to the atmosphere. There is a beautiful nice-sized bar upon walking in, and 2 seperate dining areas of the restaurant seperated by a hallway display of all the raw meats that they have to offer which I thought was pretty unique ! The bathrooms were very nice and big as well.Another reason I wanted to dine at this restaurant was to try wagyu beef for the first time, and from my understanding all of the beef they offer is wagyu which was a plus. We ordered the Tomhawk steak and the burger. Both were DELICIOUS. I have been to alot of steakhouses in the city and this steak was the first to have a smoky grilled flavor which was very unique. Highly recommend. The only downsides were that there was only one dessert option (tried it, wasnt a fan), and the service. Our server was very dry and not so helpful. Also we were sat at a table near a wall where the chair didnt fit adjacent to the table which was a little annoying. Other than that, the hostesses were super friendly and the bartenders were amazing ! If you like mojitos, defininitely order. The best mojito ive ever had. We also ordered one of the smoky drinks that they had on the menu and it was amazing. Overall, this restaurant was a great experience. The pricepoint is very high, so in order to enjoy the menu fully, be ready to spend a pretty penny.I cant wait to return !
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and amazing food.
Music a little too loud, but not terrible. I would definitely go back!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely retarded prices for food.
I paid $1100 for 4 people and the food is worth $200 TOP. That nusret signature tenderloin or whatever was a freaking joke. Also got the saltbae tomahawk that worth like $60. Look at my profile I haven't reviewed anything for more than a year I think but this place makes me come back and write it. Went there Feb 16th 2023 with a few employees, got there at 8pm and the place was 95% vacant. The drinks were good but they were $24 so they better be good. But the food, THE WORST PURCHASE IVE MADE IN A VERY VERY LONG TIME. If you're spending your own money to come to this place you are retarded, might as well send the money to me so I can teach you how to cook a steak at home. What a freaking joke this place was goddamn it piece of garbage, go to the gyro cart outside the restaurant and buy something you'll feel so much better
Be the first to ReplyDecided to come here years after the hype died down lol.
The service was good and personable! I had the filet mignon and blooming onion. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the steak was, I had zero expectations. Other steaks range between $500-700, but I think those can be shared. My waiter suggested I try the baklava for dessert. It had pistachios in it which I enjoy, unfortunately I didn't like the baklava though. Too sweet and just wasn't enjoyable for me. The restaurant is also very spacious. Towards the back looks like it can be it's own separate restaurant. Bathrooms are up the stairs for women and I think down the stairs for men. Clean and great for pics near the stairs!
Be the first to ReplyNusr-et has always been my favorite location for meat.
This was my first visit to the NY location, and it certainly did not disappoint, though I still think you should try the Istanbul experience if you coyld. The steak here is awesome, but it is overpriced even by NY standards.
Be the first to ReplyWay overpriced, but most likely one of the best steakhouse
Way overpriced, but most likely one of the best steakhouse in NYC.Great quality in the ingredients and cooking method. Meat is always tender and well cooked. Tasting Menu is a must
Be the first to ReplyI had an incredible time here.
There were many options of steak so I wouldn't go crazy over the most expensive ones. The salt bae guy isn't at the NY location so he wouldn't be doing the presentation but the staff there is well trained and they would be able to do the salt thing just as good. The baklava was overpriced. I wouldn't get it again. $25 for a small piece and some ice cream. Definitely special occasion kind of restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible experience because the staff was very
Horrible experience because the staff was very unprofessional cutting my steak and 2 pieces meats dropped on the table even they said apologize and take away 2 pieces meats. I ordered almost $400 steak that 2 pieces like $50. SMH... really really unprofessional all staff and even my sun cook well then them. Don't waste your money and only famous salt-bae in here. Nusr-Et have to training more kitchen staff and waiters
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere and wonderful steak.
Drinks were made well. Sides were plentiful but so was starters! Would visit again.
Be the first to ReplyI absolutely loved this place.
We went on a busy summer Friday night. Our table wasn't ready. So we sat at the bar. You can order drinks but not food. Which is no problem. Drinks were great. Bartenders were all nice even though it was busy. Hostess was super nice. Place is beautiful. With great ambience. Patrons offered to take pictures of us. And then we finally got seated Food was excellent. We ordered crab cakes. Mac and cheese, grilled prawns. Tomahawk steak sautéed Mushrooms and grilled spinach. And everything was amazing. I made couple of. Videos instead of photos. Because presentation was just amazing. With the famous salt bae salt sprinkle move. So pictures posted are from the videos i made. Steak was made rare and amazing crab cakes were great. All sides were perfect i can go there every weekend. But it's pretty pricey. Yet worth the experience .

Ok....so here's the deal (I'm going to keep this short and sweet). Great steak, just waaaaaaay overpriced. Thank you very much - have a nice day .
Be the first to ReplyThe venue was extremely loud, the Bartender tried to hit on
The venue was extremely loud, the Bartender tried to hit on my friend, which was awkward. He also barely paid acknowledged my presence, when I ordered a drink. The waiter asked me for either still or sparkling, in which I chose still, but forcibly made me order a $10 bottle of water. Basically tossed a cup of ice on my table hitting the candle. For the price point, service is not where it should be, not to mention we got a terrible table spot. I didn't realize that this was the SaltBae steakhouse when I made the rsvp, but it's pretty much hype. Not to mention the vibe was somewhat like a nightclub, very loud music, people standing up and randomly dancing, which isn't a bad vibe. But not what I was looking for particularly last night. It was so loud in fact, that it was very difficult to carry conversation. The steak was okay, we got the Wagyu Tomahawk, which was well seared and seasoned, but it was not phenomenal, which is what I would expect at this price point. We ordered creamed corn, in which was a single cob of corn for $20, the biggest rip off of my life.
