Be the first to ReplyNestled in the heart of Miami, Osaka effortlessly marries
Nestled in the heart of Miami, Osaka effortlessly marries the culinary traditions of Japan and Peru, creating a vibrant fusion dining experience. The attentive service at Osaka Miami is truly commendable, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Each dish is a masterpiece in its own right, expertly crafted with a harmonious blend of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. The crispy rice, oysters, carpassion, and notate truffle are just a few highlights that showcase the culinary prowess of the chefs. For those craving a refreshing beverage, the yuzu tea is a perfect choice, offering a delightful burst of citrusy goodness that cleanses the palate. Meanwhile, the amai shio strikes a balance between sweetness and spice, making it a fitting accompaniment to the bold flavors of the cuisine. One cannot overlook the standout dishes such as the honey cha, tumbo shrimp, and tako anticucho, each leaving a lasting impression with its unique flavor profile and impeccable presentation.

Osaka is impeccable when it comes to fine dining, high quality fish, and ambiance! If you enjoy drinks, their outstanding bar surely has what you need and more. The presentation of food is beautiful and tastes phenomenal. I'm very happy Brickell has a vibey sushi restaurant! I really enjoy Nikkei maki sushi roll. Raw white fish with a special citrusy ceviche like sauce topped over avocado and very lightly battered shrimp tempura. I don't like eating as many ordinary sushi places besides they over batter the shrimp. But Osaka hits it! Perfect crunch, it's best of both worlds, cooked and raw in one roll. Their espresso is the cutest zen garden style presentation ever! I want my espresso served like this all the time. The desserts are heavenly, don't skimp on the sweets :)

Had dinner here for Valentine's day and what can I say? It was amazing!! The food was truly amazing and the server was so nice and helpful in explaining all of the menu. They have an extensive list of yummy wines. Everything from the vibe to the food to the attention was amazing! They even gave out roses, it was so cute and just a nice experience
Be the first to ReplyOne of my favorite restaurants in Miami and it isn't close.
The service is impecable and the experience is high-end from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The ambiance and decoration is chic and very modern. The food...where do you start? Well, you start with everything that is torched and on a hot stone. Just melts in your mouth. My all time favorite dish is the torched scallops. Give Osaka a try and you will not regret having some of the best sushi in Miami.

Not only was the food outstanding (get the hamachi nigiri--insane, and there's also a fantastic vegetarian menu), but I can't say nicer things about our waitress Senia who was so friendly, patient, and attentive with my mom and I tonight for dinner. Thank you for an amazing meal and we'll definitely be back!!
Be the first to ReplyFood was so good.
Very fresh and everything was so unique, but not confusing. The service was attentive and the warm towels were a nice touch. We went on a windy night and had a reservation on the terrace so it was a bit chilly and a totally different ambiance compared to the inside, but overall still was a great experience. The food was definitely the star.

Be the first to ReplyWe came for brunch and even though we were disappointed in
We came for brunch and even though we were disappointed in the menu options for brunch and opted for the regular menu, everything was outstanding from service to food all round. Brunch menu is very limited and small so it wasn't what we expected but I try to make the best out of every situation so my friends and I just decided to order different items from the regular menu to enjoy it family style and get to taste a few things. So let's break down what we had...Cocktails: Pisuko Trip or pisco sour was refreshing, spicy and delicious but the one I liked the most was the Mr Osaka with a rosemary smoke for a beautifully crafted drink and nice presentation for the win. Pisco Ribs: baby back ribs with a citrus pico glaze like no other I've tasted and tender meat that just comes right off of the bone. This was one of the faves for sure.Tako Anticucho: chargrilled octopus skewer sitting on hot pebbles with a chimichurri nippon. Perfectly cooked and not chewy or rubbery with a citrusy kick from the lime. Definitely one of the best octopus dishes in town.Pato Mochero: also known as the "duck" fried rice, this was one of the most delectable duck dishes I've ever tasted in Miami. Crispy skin on the duck leg with lulo passion honey for sweet and savory combo, smoked pork and the sauce dripping onto that perfectly cooked wok white rice, "wow" is an understatement. We had no room for dessert and had planned to hit up a few other joints but this was just a perfect brunch . Service is excellent and staff was personable and attentive as you would expect from a fine establishment such as this one here. I would only recommend working on a better brunch menu but it didn't break or make it for us.

Was very disappointed with service and food quality! It was one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately I will not return! Not sure if it has new chef/owner but I felt I wasn't in osaka. Our fish had a foreign something when asked our waiter to please return to chef no one came back to give us an explanation!! And they charged us for it after only taking one bite! The results te was quite empty and that should have been a red flag! Bye bye Osaka

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday and honestly I was blown away. It was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable. The server recommended amazing dishes and guided us through all of it. The food was amazing. There was not one dish we tried that we didn't like. Highly recommend the umi meshi, tuna foie, and carpassion; for drink the honey cha is exceptional. The ambiance was also super nice. The music was at a perfect volume and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. You won't regret it.

Impeccable service. Amazing ambiance. You must run, not walk to Osaka and check it out.
Be the first to ReplyFresh fish, amazing ambiance, service is great per usual.
I've literally gone so many times and my goal is to try everything on the menu!
Be the first to ReplyAfter hearing lots of hype about the food here, I recently
After hearing lots of hype about the food here, I recently came and sat/ate at the bar. We got three different dishes and while they were all 'good', I can't say I was blown away. Also, to be clear, this is not 'Japanese' cuisine (as the top banner image on this page indicates), as much as it is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian. All the dishes we had seemed to have multiple layers of flavorings, such that the dishes/food was not exactly 'light' or 'clean' (as one might experience at a restaurant offering pure Japanese cuisine, such as unembellished sushi or sashimi). From what I saw, sitting at the bar, and while enjoying one of their cocktails, the greater(?) stars of Osaka seem to be the folks who work behind the bar. They were consummate pros, clearly very experienced and dedicated to their craft and art.Considering the price of the food vs my experience of the dishes/flavorings, I'm not sure I'd return... I'm much more a fan of pure Japanese cuisine.
Be the first to ReplyEvery Valentine's my wife and I like to go out and try new
Every Valentine's my wife and I like to go out and try new trendy restaurants around Miami. So we heard about a new cool Peruvian and Japanese fusion eatery called Osaka. Located in the Miami version of Manhattan called Brickell, you will find this cool slick restaurant. With cool lounge music playing in the back, Osaka also has a very cozy atmosphere especially for a date night. As I mentioned prior the menu here is Peruvian Japanese fusion so we ordered a sample of items that fully embrace that combination. First off we ordered the wasabi fish and scallop ceviche which was amazing very fresh with the wasabi giving an extra kick. The sliced ahi tuna tirato was also very tasty, the yellow sauce reminded me of the Peruvian yellow pepper used in many dishes. The next item to arrive was the chirashi causa which is their version of stuffed yellow potato topped with fresh tuna and crab salad, one of the best causa we had in a while especially the texture. The octopus anticucho was well seasoned and very tender, while the flaming scallops were good but too expensive for the two shells that were served. To round out our meal we decided to order three sushi dishes, the Inca nigiri (tuna), the Nikkei (roll with salmon and white fish) and Nori Furai ( salmon, shrimp, and avocado). All the sushi were very fresh with my favorite being the Inca and Nikkei for giving a leche de Tigre after taste. For dessert we ordered the suspiro Nikkei which was a fancy version of the Peruvian dessert with dulce de leche and chocolate crumbles. After all these great and innovative dishes the dessert fell short in taste, but get high mark for the presentation. Osaka is a great date night spot for good food that satisfy both the tastebuds as well as the eyes.

Every bite was better than the next. Our server was extremely attentive and very easy to discuss the menu with. He highly recommended trying a number of nigiris and he was spot on! The sommelier was also amazing and recommended a few delicious sakes. Definitely recommend sharing a number of plates and being more adventurous, trying a wide variety of their different fish options. Seemed to be great for larger groups as well, but also makes a great date spot. Will definitely become a regular here!!
Be the first to ReplyHad a wonderful dinner here with friends .
The service was phenomenal as our waiter broke down the menu and guided us through this unique experience. Each dish is meticulously though our with it's own unique flavor story. I got the Classico Ceviche to start- perfect amount of acidity the sweet potato softened the palette to break down the tart citrus marinade. A dozen oysters with three different carefully crafted sauces. Finished with the duck confit- this was like a crispy skin tender meat on a bed of fragrant rice , wrapped in a banana leaf to give it all the more aroma. By this time I was quite full but still enjoyed this main course. Decor was intimate with modern Japanese influences . Can't wait for the chicago location to open up!

Amazing service, which confirms that my second visit to Osaka will not be my last. Ask for John or Jacob- they are brothers and they outdo each other in enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu.
