Amazing weekend!
We had an amazing weekend! So many things stand out: we loved the pool, made new friends, the bed was so comfy, the spa treatments were incredible, the food was delicious and above all, the service was magnificent! The grounds are truly beautiful and everything about our stay was 5/5!

โฅ๏ธWe absolutely loved our stay at the Parker. The staff are SO lovely- they go above and beyond, the food and cocktails were AMAZING โฆand the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Itโs rare to find a hotel in PS with acreage/grounds, and we just loved walking the tree-lined pathways, bicycling on their adorable pink bikes and relaxing on the hammocks and by the fire pitโฆ. itโs magical! Highly suggest eating at Mister Parkers and Normas. Thank you, Parker!

Be the first to ReplyArtsy getaway in the middle of the desert
I loved the style of the hotel! Thereโs something to discover in every corner, it is just amazing. The service at the restaurant was a little unorganised, but very friendly. It really feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert - all in all a wonderful experience!
Be the first to ReplyFrustrating extra fees make paradise a little less special
You can be your own rockstar at Parker!! Oops Not because of special treatment but because it's cheaper to throw your underpants away daily and use fresh ones then regular laundry costs. Move over Beiber! Among the highest hotel laundry fees in my extensive travels.$12 ++ each set of undies regular laundry. Parker is a resort with quite beautiful facilities, which is why it is quite exceptional and I recommend it. It's just a shame that upon arrival they blop an extra fee on your bill, resort fees! Yes I know this is an American reality, rest of the world we don't do that. You kind of expect what's displayed on the Hotel website is what you were electing to pay for when you take a room for the night?! Most of the staff are exceptionally friendly and help you get into the groove quickly. I will say the check in desk seems a little bit brusque, the has decided that they should be front desk and reception at the same time I think that would make me frustrated. The first person you speak to sets the tone for your visit. Try to make a booking that allows you to make full use of the outdoor facilities, which you are paying for anyway :-) don't arrive late and leave early or you will miss the point. On a previous visit I used the spa and it was delightful, highly recommend that space.
Be the first to ReplyNot what they think they are
This place is ridiculous. We didn't get the room we reserved so they moved us to the worst room in the house - for the same outrageous price. The outdoor space was a concrete pad with a wall shielding the parking lot. The furniture was just two wire chairs with just one pad and an upturned 18 inch table. Other guest rooms had outdoor sofas and real living areas. At more than $1,000 a night before all if the junk fees it felt like we were being punished for asking to change rooms. The pools were small but comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. A bright spot was the bed which was fitted with great bedding. There was no coffee in the room and the tv remote did not work the tv. Everyone in our party of 16 was double charged. We couldn't reach anyone at the hotel about our prepaid reservation. The list goes in and on. This hotel thinks they are the greatest but that's only because of their outrageous pricing for everything. I should had a couple more $30 martinis to ease my pain. I guess some orange paint and some garage sale furniture makes you retro chic.

Meh Overpriced Understaffed All style No substance Food mediocre at best - wayyyyy overpriced Drinks mediocre at best - even more wayyyyyy overpriced Everything is a surcharge Housekeeping staff - 5 STARS Valet team - 5 STARS Front desk team - wow. Find a new job. Great place to go if you are a douche bag.
Be the first to ReplyOver priced. Tired rooms. Poor service.
This place is complacent about everything. It is riding on its supposed reputation as the best hotel in Palm Springs Room issues include- smells of blocked drains, noisy locations, missing outdoor furniture and shutters that donโt close. Bar staff are busy chatting and donโt serve. Dirty bar and hand washed glasses In their defence management listened and were open to feedback which was taken seriously Main pool very noisy and full of children so if you want to relax have a room away from here. Adult only pool is well staffed and friendly although music is still loud.

Treat yourself! I wandered through the garden tipsy then had a fabulous dinner. I sank in my luxurious bed at night and ordered the best breakfast I bed in the morning. Rise and repeat. Will definitely be back! It was so relaxing and relaxing!!!

This place is beautiful and one of a kind experience, felt like we stepped right into the 50's. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, attentive, and personable. We felt welcome our entire stay. The grounds are immaculate and the Lemonade Stand with multiple variations on lemonade has given me ideas for parties this summer.
Be the first to ReplyNice moments, but ultimately very underwhelming
I recently stayed at the Parker Palm Springs hotel and while there were many positives, I have to say I was more than underwhelmed by the overall experience. We've stayed at hotels across the spectrum, and this one fell short of a true 5 star experence. The hotel common areas are beautiful, and the grounds are immaculately kept. The staff were friendly and helpful, but too many things were done poorly for it to be a coincidence. This hotel obviously has great history, but seems to be moving forward on prior reputation rather than its current merits. The biggest disappointed during our stay was by far the quality of the room we stayed in and the overall maintenance of the property interior (the gardens are immaculately kept and saved the weekend for us). For being "5 stars" and charging well into that price bracket, I was expecting a much more refined experience. The deluxe guestroom we had seemed to use the midcentury modern theme as an excuse not to have basic amenities I would expect from a luxury hotel. The room itself had minor shortcomings (no desk/work area, no mini fridge, and no closet organization/shelfing), but the main "WTF" moment was when I saw the bathroom in our deluxe room (I actually asked my wife if I was being "punk'd" as I half expected Ashton Kutcher to jump out laughing at us). The bathroom couldnโt be more basic; with a toilet in the middle of the room and motel style low profile bathtub, rusty shower rod, and moldy shower curtain being the most underwhelming bathroom feature. I realize now they donโt have a lot of pictures of the guest rooms on the hotel website for a reason... There is also just a noticeable repair/maintenance issue. Multiple tower style heaters around the property are in disrepair, with metal components that have melted away and staff needing to use duct tape to keep them on (if they work at all). One or two like this can be an exception, but when 80% of the heaters we saw are like this it feels like a bigger underlying issue. The spa facilities also need a major renovation. The interior pool has caused the wood molding in the PSYC area to start to rot and the hot tubs and pools had a thick layer of grime/mold at the water line tile. The services we had at the spa were excellent, but not worth the premium we paid due to the underwhelming facility condition. Lastly- we dined at Norma's for breakfast multiple times, and it was great, with great service (9/10). Mister Parker was good, but not great. It felt extremely overpriced compared to other high end dining options, with inconsistent service throughout the night. Hard to say if we had a unfortunate experience, or if thatโs the norm. Ultimately, we spent most of our stay off property or in the gardens at the adult pool so we enjoyed our stay overall, but I likely wonโt be in a hurry to go back and I wouldnโt recommend it to a friend unless they could reserve it at a serious discount. Overall, our expectations were likely too high going into our visit to the Parker Palm Springs. We expected a $1000/nt, 5 star hotel experience and this fell far short. It has potential to be great, but they need to invest in updating their rooms and keep up with general maintenance to truly provide a 5 star luxury experience.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing experience at The Parker for the whole family
The Parker has been magical. The staff is superior and the best amongst any hotel I have stayed at. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and ready to help you navigate your experience. Our children find the hotel to be amazing + a very special staff member named Hazel (I wish everyone has a chance to meet Hazel) has made my youngestโs stay extraordinaryโฆas well as ours. We checked in after a long plane and car ride in the rain and Hazel greeted us and started our trip off with the best smile and most generous spirit. The hotel itself is amazing โ the Jonathan Adler design and beautiful landscaping is the perfect backdrop for any stay.
Be the first to ReplyTruly exceptional
Yet another wonderful and memorable stay at the Parker... This is a place you can return to again and again and it just gets better. Excellent service, top notch drinks/dining and the grounds are extraordinary. A very well run establishment.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic hotel with very cool retro vibe and exceptional experience
Stayed in a beautiful spacious room on 2nd floor of north building. Every staff person went out of their way to be accommodating. Common areas were beautiful. Only wish we had more time to enjoy them.
Be the first to ReplyCharming, luxury experience
The Parker is such a charming property - I loved all of the midcentury vintage details in the design and interior decor. The paths and gardens around the property are immaculately maintained, and all staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable from the first minute we walked in. I had two lovely treatments at the spa, and I actually left our weekend there feeling rested and refreshed.
Be the first to ReplyEvent at the Parker
This was such a great stay we had a good sized event for a couple of days and everything from the hospitality to massage and dining was all top notch! Definitely an eclectic feeling throughout the property as advertised. Even with weather not cooperating we had a great time!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Pre-Honeymoon Stay!
Stay was incredible! Came for a pre honeymoon right after our wedding and they pulled all the stops. Amazing hospitality at every step of the way. This property is as beautiful as advertised and even more so. The staff was so courteous and thoughtful and treated us like we were the only guests. World class hotel ran by world class people.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Experience
We had such a great experience at the Parker. Valerie reached out to us prior to the trip and had set up a wonderful birthday surprise for my moms 70th Birthday. Everyone knew it was her birthday when we got to the hotel. Jodi was another wonderful staff member who was great with our children, our daughter is still talking about the conversations she had with Jodi hearing about the bunnies on the property. We had a really nice spa day as well, the staff was so welcoming and great. We also ate at Normas and our server was the best, they were so accommodating to us and our kids! I highly recommend the Parker and give praise to how great the hotel staff was.

We stayed at the Parker for a family wedding, The people that were good were really good . The employees that were bad were really bad . The car valet, bell service and security were excellent . The front desk was terrible . Marco , the restaurant manger was first class . There was an incident in the restaurant while we were waiting for our room to be ready where I sat in salad oil on a chair which soaked through my pants . Marco was excellent and did everything to make it right . The front desk people could have cared less and basically told me their dry cleaning pick up occurred for the weekend and that there were wash machines . No bueno . Marco did everything in his power to make it right but there is a disconnect between hotel management and restaurant management . More on that later. The room was in the south building and an over priced holiday inn room. The entire bathroom was mirrored so there was no towel rack or even a hook on the back of the bathroom door . The toilet paper roll was on an arm so the roll kept falling off . The decor is 60s Pier one imports kitschy . Too much clutter - like an AirbNB . The lobby is the same . Pier One imports eclectic kitchy with macrame wall hanging . A big sign that says โDRUGSโ is over the fireplace . Marco, the restaurant manager offered to replace the pants and get us a credit on the room . That was fine , When my husband checked out the front desk had no clue . The credit was not there . The front desk gave him a hard time . The front desk staff is all smiles but they donโt deliver hospitality . I had to remind Hale that I was the guest and the soiled pants are his problem not mine . They talk the talk , but they donโt walk the walk. At one point, I asked to talk to the general manager of the hotel who never showed up . I am sure I will hear from that person now in response - but too little too late . I had previously contacted the resort for a referral for in room hair service . I was given Ali Diazโ name who was only available by email . We made a date to get my hair done months in advance but when I went to change the place and time , she ghosted me. I tried to email her on several occasions and I was completely ghosted - obviously she got a better gig than one hair style and no makeup. So she ghosted me instead of being honest . Parker concierge needs to delete her from their referral list . I phoned the Parker concierge about being ghosted only to find out there was a hair stylist on-site . He was wonderful , but nobody informed in advance that payment was cash or Venmo . I had neither when I went to get my hair done. Fortunately , I had a relative staying there that lent me the cash . Did I mention the cost ? This basic motel room was over $700 per night before taxes, fees, and valet . This was the wedding rate- not the rack rate . Would I stay here again ? No. Was the wedding fabulous ? Yes. They put on a great wedding with great food and completely rip you off on the rooms . This is not a 5 stars hotel . This is a 3 star motel with 5 star grounds and 5 star events and catering .
Be the first to ReplyVery accommodating for our family
After reading many reviews, I was anxious to bring my two small children with me for a family wedding at the Parker, but the hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. We paid for an upgraded room at the time we booked to accommodate a room that would fit a couple, a two year old, and an infant. Our room was large and well appointed to accommodate our family. The staff was also incredibly attentive ensuring all of our needs were met. There is no doubt that the hotel is expensive - especially during peak season, but I felt like our experience matched the price of the room. My only feedback for the hotel would be to have some additional food options besides Normaโs/room service. A small cafe or a place for grab and go items would be super helpful.
Be the first to ReplyIncredibly disappointing
I've stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and never have I had such a disappointing experience. We booked 2 suites and 1 poolside room for a 2 night stay--each $2000/night. Upon arrival, we were assigned the junior suite that we had requested and it was the worst room in the entire hotel, only a few feet away from the lobby and concierge desk at a price of $2000/night. We requested a change and they no longer had any suites available so we were assigned to a poolside room--much smaller than the suite--and we were charged the same price--$2000/night. In one of our rooms we were woken up at 5:30am by a high pitched screeching sound coming from the AC/heat/mechanical system in the room. At 6:50am a gardener was raking leaves outside our door. In another room the toilet needed a new valve and hissed loudly. We spent $800 in pet fees and we weren't even provided a water bowl for the dogs, let alone a dog bed, like other hotels provide. We couldn't get a cup of coffee without going to the lobby in the morning and paying $8 for a pitcher of coffee or $7 for a latte. At the restaurant, we asked for a club sandwich "to go" and we were told it had to be delivered to our room. By the time it arrived for my daughter, she had already left and we were charged $47 for a club sandwich. In Normas for breakfast, the service was terrible and the music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak. For lunch, the basic caesar salad ($30) was filled with old brown lettuce. The in room mini bars were not equipped with a wine openers and we asked for one to be sent to our room and 45 minutes later, I had to go to the front desk to pick it up because it never arrived. The prices for everything at this hotel are outrageous and not worth the money. Please note: I have never written a review on yelp or any other review service but felt it important to take the time to let other know about our disappointing experience.
