March 2017
Came here with my son March of 2017 sorry I'm late on this review but it came up on my Facebook memories and wanted to share, I will post pictures of the pizzas we had, had great memories, pizza was excellent I don't remember exactly what type of pizza they were but one was a breakfast pizza, the Ambiance was amazing, and the pizzas were excellent, next time I'm back to see my son I would love to return.
Be the first to ReplyFantastico. Superb pizza.
We had three different pizzas and all were delizioso... the arugala schmugala, Hellboy, and King Harry classic. I ordered the last and loved it the most!! The Hellboy was a scrumptious combination of soppressata and hot honey. All the pizzas are thin crust and perfectly baked in a hot brick oven. One of the best pizzas I've ever had in the US. Definitely competitive with pizza in Italy. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Pizzas are amazing and really creative. Beer is good too. But service is best - very attentive and friendly. I’d personally go with hard copy menus, as it’s all online right now. But otherwise, great place.

We ordered a Pepperoni and Pepperoni with honey pizza for dinner. Very tasty with fresh ingredients. We truly enjoyed this and will order from here again.
Be the first to ReplySelf order is a big NO
The food is excellent, no question there but the fact that you have to order from the app and there is no interaction with a server ruins the whole experience. We pulled up at 7:30 on a Monday night, wait was 30 minutes. After 40 minutes we check in with the hostess and she says “oh I called your number”. Nope, definitely no one called. We get seated, scan the QR code, the menu pulls up, no waiter. We are now sitting staring at our phones trying to figure out how to order instead of interacting with each other. The menu is very annoying, you can’t see the whole description until you click on the item so instead of being able to skim through the menu you are clicking on each item and then CL licking the back button to go back to the rest of the menu, very aggravating. This whole time not a single person came by our table. I had a question about couple of menu options but simply no one to ask. It literally feels like the restaurant is self serve. Once we made our choices and placed the order (through the phone), it takes you to the pay page where a tip of 20% auto populates for you. This must be a joke, who am I tipping?! Should I be rather getting a 20% discount for doing all the work myself? The experience was such a turn off, it doesn’t matter how good the food is
Be the first to ReplySquare Pizza is special
We went for takeout. The square pepperoni pizza was unusual and excellent. It wasn't because it was square but because of the crust thickness, the sesame seed under coating and just great flavor.

Decent Neopolitan pizza if you are a fan of the neopolitan style. Degraded fast so eat it fresh. The Brisket Five O was the best of the three pizzas we tried. Monte Crisco solid too.
Be the first to ReplyDecent pizza in a happening place
After being turned down at the sit-down version, we walked to the slice shop and had a decent experience. The pizza is not awesome, but it is good enough and generous. There is not enough sitting available, but the atmosphere is pretty vibrant, which is a plus.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic service and food
First night in NY and this was recommended by the barman in the hotel. Luckily we got there before opening and were first at a table because within 10mins every table was full!! Quick service, very tasty pizzas, accommodating staff. Really can’t fault it. Would highly recommend, if you can get in.
Be the first to ReplyBrooklyn new era pizza
Atmosphere: small bar setting in front (less than 10 seats); dining room with several tables; dim lighting; wood fire oven visible in the back; craft beer on tap; music over the speakers Meal: Hellboy Pizza (one of the signature pies) - ingredients individually were fresh and tasty but was not a fan of the hot soppressata and honey combination.

Although we have a location in Chicago, this was my first time dining at Paulie Gee’s. We arrived a bit after 7pm & it was filled with candles & lovely but almost too dark to see the menu. My friend literally had to use the flashlight on her iPhone to see. The pizza menu is extensive including a nice selection of vegan versions. I had the Chop’t ’Til You Drop vegan pizza {sorry not the best pic because again, too dark} and it was good. The vegan brownie, which the server raved about was just ok. They had a nice selection of music playing in the background and I even opened up Shazam to capture a couple of songs. Also, after our pizza was served Paulie Gee stopped over to ask how we were, which was nice & rare nowadays.

Fab trip to this restaurant as my so.n is a pizza expert. This was fab, great menu choices, quite adventurous. Would return.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent pizza
I look at pizza shop as its own interpretation of a slice of pizza. Paulie G’s is preaching my brothers and sisters. The go to slices the Angry Man, a pepperoni slice with Mike’s Hot Honey and the Freddy Prince, a grandma square. The square all have a sesame seed bottom, an excellent touch.
Be the first to ReplyInteresting pizza options & great atmosphere
Lively pizza place offering a very varied pizza topping menu, great atmosphere supported with rock based background music.
