This was probably the most disappointing pizza I've tried
This was probably the most disappointing pizza I've tried in Chicago. Buffalo Chicken had the driest pieces of chicken with no buffalo sauce at all. The cheese was also so dry it fell off the bread. I also got a pepperoni pizza slice with barely any pepperoni on it and might I add the pepperoni was all burnt. Would not go back to this place.

We got Pizza Friendly Pizza for takeout and it was delicious! The crust was the perfect texture - A little airy and light but with a nice crisp edge. The pepperonis were small and a little bit crispy which I loved. The potato pesto was a unique combination and the you can never go wrong with burrata. It's a little pricier than other options for pizza delivery but definitely worth trying at least once! We all enjoyed it and it tasted even better reheated in the air fryer.

An extremely unique slice! I got the buff chick and the burrata. Both were really good. What shines here is the crust. It's the perfect mix between crunchy and light fluffiness. It's the only sicilian slice I can recall in the city. My one gripe is I wish the portions were bigger, especially at $5 a slice.
Be the first to ReplyHave always loved this place.
Open later on the weekends and the food is amazing. Watch out for the hangover caesar it comes with full anchovies! Pizza and bread sticks are phenomenal tho
Be the first to ReplyFab place for sicilian style pizza.
Casual place with a few tables inside. Order by the slice or full pies. Three veg-friendly options, all of them fab. Caesar salad comes with cold, crisp greens, a generous sprinkle of parm, and some really tasty anchovies. Pro tip, save a bit of caesar dressing for the potato petso pizza. Definitely recommend!
Be the first to ReplyThe pizza with the hot honey was great.
The food came out quickly and the Staff was nice.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I go here several times a month.
The menu is small but includes a nice range of slices. It is also fun to try the rotating slices that are often collaborations with bands who perform at the Empty Bottle. The inside is cute and cozy and they have a great patio in the summer. The service can be a bit slow, for plan for that if you are ordering inside or to go.
Be the first to ReplyPizza Friendly Pizza knocked it out of the park once again.
Was going to a show at the Empty Bottle that started at 9 and decided to order a couple of slices so that I could enjoy them outside before going into the venue. The sausage with giardineira was as good as always but the special mushroom miso slice really took the cake. The caramelized onions combined with the garlic and mushrooms was just perfection for a fungi lover like myself. Ordered on my way to the Bottle and the slices were ready at the promised time. Thanks PFP for the full stomach that nourished me as I got lost in the amazing sounds of L'éclair and Sunking tonight.

Such crispy, toothsome pan-pizza in a low-key environment with chill service. -Cute alleyway patio walk-up window. -New indoor space with several tables. Came last summer when it was just the patio space. I have always loved the slices I had. Their flavors are sophisticated with variety - I love the miso mushroom, pepperoni, burrata. It looks like they have a special too that changes. I grabbed a slice combo to go and the 15 min ride home, the slices were still delightfully crispy.

You get a slice, a beer and a shot for $8! We had to order at the bar next door to get the beer and shot, but the pizza comes to you where ever you sit. We sat in the back patio which is pretty basic. I also tried the potato slice and did not like it. But the pepperoni slice is delicious. There's a photo booth here, which I love using one whenever I see it!

better off going to an actual pizza restaurant, lacks character and value.
Be the first to ReplyHappy hour is advertised but they do not uphold the special.
Based on loose business practices, this place is a total LOSER.
Be the first to ReplyCrust changed completely, wouldn't get again.
Big drop off from the early days with Noah.

Small operation with good quality ingredients. It's apparent that a lot of thought, creativity, and care go in to the pizza menu. Great vegan options!
Be the first to ReplyIt's 5:02pm.
I picked up my order at 4:45. My order pickup time was 4:45. THE PIZZA IS ICE COLD. It's now in my oven at home. The only reason this isn't a 0 star is it's Super Bowl Sunday. If you don't have the capacity to serve hot pizza on a high demand day either limit your orders or be closed. I paid $50 for a full pizza and breadsticks with marinara sauce and it's all completely cold. I'm writing this review as I'm cooking my $50 food at home. What's wrong with restaurants nowadays to serve you slop and expect you to be ok with it? If you can't serve hot pizza close down immediately and work as an accountant or something.

The pepperoni is the best I've had, the crust is perfectly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. A little pricey but worth it

My favorite pizza in Chicago!!!! Love the pepperoni basil, and they have mikes hot honey on the side... killer. Just wish it wasn't so expensive but it's truly worth the price.
Be the first to ReplyPizza Friendly Pizza has been on my radar since I moved to
Pizza Friendly Pizza has been on my radar since I moved to West Town and they are highly rated. I ordered a Pepperoni & Basil pizza/breadsticks for delivery on a Saturday night and it arrived on time. The breadsticks and sauce were decent, but nothing to write home about. Crust was doughy and it tasted good, but it had zero crisp and it was extremely moist due to the grease. This was probably due to the pizza being delivered and would be better dining in. The cheese was great and the shaved parmesan was a nice touch. There was a lot of cheese, which was great! Sauce had some spice to it and the pie needed more sauce. The sauce to cheese ratio was ok. The toppings were very good as well and I really liked the basil as it had great flavor. Overall, the pizza was good and has a lot of potential, but you definitely need to eat it dining in. It wasn't great for delivery, but I thought the toppings were very good and it was very cheesy. Price was expensive at $33 for the pizza, but it came with 8 slices, which are big. Definitely worth a try! Crust: 5Cheese: 8Sauce: 6Toppings: 8Overall: 6.75

Unique style of pizza, small menu, but done so well! Incredibly fluffy crust, good variety of toppings and flavors. Do yourself a favor and get a "slice flight", 6 different slices for $20 and try them all, with a partner. You might be surprised by which one is your favorite! The miso mushroom was the winner for us, airy crust working as a vehicle for delicious, tangy and acidic mushrooms without any sauce to dampen the intensity of the mushrooms. No surprise that Noah's pizza place is inventive and delicious like his other, more formal restaurants.
Be the first to ReplyLiterally the best pizza I have ever had in my life.
Just when I thought I was bored with pizza, I found this gem. There's a few left for me to try but so far I cannot complain. Always happy when I come here.

This is a hidden gem! My boyfriend and I came here for a slice and were shocked with the variety of super fun pizzas. We got slices of the burrata, fig and pig, pepperoni and basil and one of their pizzas of the week. We will be back for the combo! A slice, shot, and beer!
Be the first to ReplySoooo good.
I thought I would not like this type of bread for my pizza but it was amazing definitely try it and the elbow room (next door) has ms Pac-Man my favorite. There's always different flavors and really unique combinations for toppings on the pizza. You can get it by the slice too so you can dry different kinds
Be the first to ReplySo dang good!! Best Detroit style pizza in Chicago.
We got take out and it kinda took a while but it was worth it. 10/10 recommend for a late night pizza stop! We loved the burrata pizza and pepperoni pizza but honestly they all were bomb!
Be the first to ReplyGot the pepperoni basil pizza.
It was ok, but mainly because I would prefer mozzarella as opposed to ricotta cheese. I think that single sub pushes this to 4.5-5 star pizza because otherwise it is an interestingly light, "thick" crust pizza.
