Excellent! 5 out of 5 Great food, great service! we came here when we first arrived in Christchurch in February. Loved it so much we came back on our last day in New Zealand. We leave tomorrow for Perth from Christchurch so we returned for our last restaurant meal. It did not disappoint!
Birthday treat
Went there last night for our daughter’s birthday and couldn’t fault it. Wonderful service, superb beguiling food and airy stylish decor, well done
One of the top South East Asian restaurants in the world
This restaurant is a rare gem and is located in central Christchurch New Zealand. After pending years in the suburbs as one of the cities best kept secrets it is now in one of the well positioned dining precincts in the Garden City. The food is superb with the best and freshest ingredients. It is light and has unique flavours that will have a broad appeal. The Burmese chef and his NZ wife own the restaurant and have a great team of front and back of house staff. The service is of a high standard. The portions are small and we shared around 12 dishes between the five of us. Impossible to pick a favourite and great value for money. Aftershock years of living and working in the region I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Cannot fault the service. We were slightly disappointed with our food, especially the tea salad and eggplant. However the rest was yummy and tasty. Just loved the hot chilli sauce. Very reasonably priced and super friendly staff

Cannot fault the food here. Everything we tried was fantastic and the staff were great to deal with. Nothing was a problem as we were a group and it was busy - we will be back!

Very pleased to be able to get a table at this restaurant. I highly recommend you booking. There were excellent vegetarian options. Every dish was delicious. The sorbet to finish was also very good.
Lovely Burmese food
Beautiful fresh flavours, all totally different. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Best to order a few dishes each and share.
Pretty perfect
We’d been big fans of Bodhi Tree back in the day but only recently been told of this reincarnation. We booked for a Tuesday night and it was packed - always a good sign. Unfortunately though, we were seated next to a really loud end of year work group and could hardly hear ourselves chat. The lovely waitress moved us as far away as she could as soon as she could though. This was greatly appreciated! After a wine and an Asahi we started with the famous tea leaf salad and some delicious raw fish. Both were superb - light, fresh, and full of flavour. We then shared the egg plant, prawns, and lamb curry. Every dish was incredible. We savoured every bite and then headed off to have a gelato in town before heading to a movie. We will definitely return soon with a group,of friends. We promise to keep the noise down though! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

Wow. My wife and I were visiting from Wellington and had the most amazing meals. Recommend chicken and lamb curries and prawn dishes. Great and engaging service as well. Wish Ruby Rangoon operated in Wellington. Matt

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
