Awful service.
The waiters actively try to avoid customers and are completely rude. Would not recommend this.

L'incanto is a large restaurant with patio seating tables by the beach. I was looking for a place to have dinner and stopped by in the early evening. It was pretty empty and I was given a gorgeous view. I looked over the menu and decided to go with some lightly fried fish.Fried fish (20 euros) - The portion was on the small side and consisted of 3 balls of white fish fried over some greens. The dish didn't look that appealing and tasted just ok.Although I had a gorgeous view, this was definitely a tourist trap! Other restaurants along the beach had a lot more people and were pretty busy, I guess the locals knew. After tip, cover charge, and a bottle of water my bill came out to be a little over $30. Way over priced!
Be the first to Replygood service for an italian restaurant.
not too busy. prices are fair. the waiter was a little pushy with suggestions but we got a laugh out of it. however, there was a dead fly in my salad :(. i understand because i work in a restaurant and sometimes with fresh ingredients you will occasionally get a bug. i didn't say anything because i didn't want to cause a scene. would highly reccomend the incanto ravioli!
Be the first to ReplyHonestly not worth it at all.
They bring tourists in by blasting music but a peroni is $15 which is insane!
Be the first to ReplyI came here three times when I was in Positano.
First time, we came only for drinks. We got their Pina Coladas and limoncello spritz's and they were delicious. The service was excellent and we got delicious snacks while we had our drinks. Second time, we came for a sunset dinner. They gave us the best table in the house. I got the penne pasta and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was well made. You could tell it was fresh. My friend got a seafood pasta and she enjoyed it as well.Third time, I got the pizza. The pizza sauce was flavorful and I loved the dough of the pizza as well. Location: The restaurant is located right by the water and beach. It affords great views and a very welcoming environment.Prices: I do feel that some of the items are overpriced but given the location if kind of makes sense.

Lovely ocean view. Awesome service!! Homemade tiramisu.

This is one of several "macro" restaurants along the beach in Positano. They're hard to miss. The food is fine and pretty much what you would expect for an establishment that caters to the throngs of tourists that descend on Positano during the vacation months. There are much better smaller restaurants in Positano but you don't get the views, you're not in the bustling area where the shops and sights are and they are a little harder to get to. I think the location and staff deserve five stars while the food is pretty much average for these parts and probably deserves three stars so I settled on four. The bottom line: This is a decent restaurant with friendly staff in a great sea-side location. There are better restaurants out there in terms of the food but this has the whole package.

There are so many choices of where to eat "on the beach" in Positano. I had done some research prior to arriving (thanks Yelp!) and landed on L'incanto. It was a solid choice. While you can't eat directly on the beach (that area is sectioned off for the beach club), the dining is still close enough. All that separates you from the beach is a sidewalk so the views are still very nice. We both got our own pizzas here - I got a white prosciutto pizza with arugula and my fiance got a margherita. It wasn't the best pizza we had on the Amalfi Coast, but it was still pretty good! Glad we chose this spot.

After a few drinks at Ocean Bar across the way, my husband and I had dinner at L'incanto. It's a beautiful restaurant along the beach, perfect for one of our last nights in Positano before heading home from our honeymoon. I decided to order my favorite Italian dish, pasta vongole. Though I had it 2-3 times throughout our vacation, it's the positive note I wanted to end on. With, of course, a glass of wine. It was tasty, and I finished every last bite. Along with the octopus appetizer. There's a lovely, classy vibe, matching the hotel L'incanto is attached to. I like that the tables were spaced far apart, giving privacy for conversaton, minus the stray cats listening in. Overall would recommend this spot! Especially during sunset.
Be the first to ReplyOur group had drinks at the Blu Bar right on the beach.
Several of us enjoyed the Limoncello spritz; it's Positano after all. The small bowls of snacks hit the spot, too. Although it's the most touristy of tourist spots in Positano, and we were only having drinks, service wasn't rushed, and we weren't made to feel as though we had to move along. Comfortable plastic chairs. The bathrooms are a but rustic and the stalls are minuscule, but there's a beautiful ceramic sink outside. Gorgeous views, of course. Prices were reasonable, considering. Drinks for six people plus snacks and service came to โฌ38.

This is a restaurant on the coast with a very good view! The waitstaff is very attentive. We had a couple of pizzas, both which were very good. I would recommend to let them know you are in no rush if you do not want them speeding through the meal!

Gorgeous!! Amazing! And the lemon risotto is one of the if not THE best dish I had in Italy. Don't mess around, don't be cute. Get the dish and thank me later.

Good food but if you're a woman dining alone be prepared to be objectified and not only that but TOLD that a woman dining alone makes her look a certain way like she's looking for "certain things". Wish I had dined anywhere else in Positano.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing.
Fresh. Simple. Done right. This place is great, the olive oil was beautiful and fragrant, heirloom tomatoes were sweet, and the mozzarella was tender and milky. If you couldn't already tell, we got the caprese salad for our appetizer. ย That was then followed up buy an incredibly light and fluffy risotto. It was flavoured with beautiful lemons, fresh, tender baby shrimp which were like butter in your mouth, and a beautiful sweet cheese sauce that tied it all together. ย It was honestly a perfect meal. The food was excellent but the service could have been a tad bit better. They could have been more attentive and engaging. I would 100% come back tho as dinner was fresh, tasty and had an incredible view as it was set on the beach front of the positano coast.

I really loved this gem all around had a wonderful experience. I found l'incanto through yelp, but it's actually hard to miss after all because it's right on the beach! It's a fairly large outside restaurant as well as a bar. We had a reservation for 7:30 PM and were seated right away as it wasn't too crowded when we arrived. It did become more filled up as time went on, but it was never completely full. I got shrimp and lemon risotto and it was delicious and creamy, one of my favorite meals in Positano. My friend got a pizza with burrata and other toppings and absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio that was actually generously poured. Prices were super reasonable especially considering it's in a very touristy spot directly on the beach. After dinner, we figured we'd walk right across to the bar to have a drink. The original drinks we asked for weren't able to be made, and the bar tender was very apologetic. He made us something else and we both enjoyed it. We had a fun time and stayed for another drink specially made by the bar tender (something with cucumber and mint it was delicious). A cool bar with some great bar tenders! Overall, I enjoyed L'incanto (both the restaurant and bar) and I would definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat view of the ocean with wonderful service.
I had the caprese pizza which was very average, and therefore, disappointing for an Italy vacation. But my friend had a lemon zest shrimp risotto which was incredible. A bit salty at the bottom but one of the best risottos I've ever had.
