Delicious!
Wonderful! The food was amazing. Very fresh ingredients. Service was great. We had the salmon hummus and lamb kabobs. They were delicious!

We visited with local friends who have loved Rumiโs for many years (they, too, were affected by the Motherโs Day 2020 debacle which resulted in many of the negative reviews, but they said all disappointed customers were given $50 gift cards - a nice gesture for issues beyond control). We went with their suggestions for appetizers: hummus, roasted cauliflower, Fattoush salad and Kashk Badenjoon, an eggplant spread. Each table gets a complimentary bowl with a bit of feta, walnut halves, herbs and amazing green olives- herbs were great with the hummus. Also complimentary is wonderful fresh- baked flatbread, baskets refilled when empty. Appetizers were very nice, perhaps not quite as flavorful as anticipated. Maybe I expected more hot spice, but admit little familiarity with Persian cuisine. We all loved our main courses: chicken kabob, lamb shanks, and Badenjoon, an eggplant/tomato beef stew. All came with more than ample sides of saffron basmati rice, be prepared to take some home! One in our group substituted zereshk, a rice with dried barberries - sort of like tiny tart cranberries. Our server, Maria, was incredible. We dine out often, her professional and efficient but not hurried service was much like European staff who must go through training. She made sure we had fresh flatware with each course, which all fine dining establishments should provide (but all too often this is neglected in the U.S.). Parking is only by valet, with a nominal charge of a couple dollars. The restaurant is popular and noisy, and we were in the back room which is smaller and perhaps a bit less loud. Therefore I wouldnโt recommend Rumiโs for a romantic date, but for a group it is fine and the decor is pleasing.

AMAZING!! by far my favourite restaurant in atlanta. When I went I didnโt think it would be my kind of place but honestly the most amazing food!!! The salmon is to die for and I will come back every time I am costing atlanta. Was so good I even went twice in one week
Be the first to ReplyGreat authentic Persian food with some considerations on portions and price
Some mixed experiences with the family eating here. The positives, delicious and relatively authentic Persian food. The ghormeh was delicious, the kobodeh was tasty and the bademjan was great. I loved the โwomen life freedomโ prints on the staff shorty in support of Iranian women. The waitress was courteous and helpful when my wife spill some water on table accidentally. Also, the concept of open kitchen gives a nice vibe. Some not so positive feedbacks include long wait at the valet, and the fact that the food portions were small. The price for a lunch on a weekday was a bit high as well.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner. Hummus, Falafel, Spinach and Date Salad (my favorite) and Kashk Badenjoon. Our waiter was great and gave us good recommendations. For desert we had the Persian Ice Cream Sandwich which is really difficult to describe as it is totally unique to me. We had some issues with the hostess staff. Despite having a reservation, they were in no hurray to get us seated and did not provide updates or even friendly smiles, just let us stand around waiting. We ended up sitting close to the entrance which proved to be good as the sound level in the back of the restaurant (where the restrooms are) was very high.

Service was fine but the noise was off putting and the food was so dry that I couldn't eat it. Wine was needed just to get through half the meal. Not recommended.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and very generous
Wonderful appetizers, grilled meats and more. Everything was scrumptious. Read some of the negative reviews and I can't believe that these people actually ate there. They seem like competitors or something.

The food in this place in so good. The Salmon hummus, will leave your mouth watering. Also had the chicken wings with the spicy sauce. The drinks were worth every penny. I canโt wait to return.

The food was old and the Paneer was made with cheddar cheese and the mushrooms in the mushroom fried rice where canned and old. I was greatly disappointed especially because I had spent $38.00 and was unable to eat it.
