Always great service here.
Very proffessional and attentive staff.Very clean and nice space.Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious. Great seasoning and flavor. I tend to like my sprouts crispier but they do them very well here.Have to love the salmon and the presentation here. I tend to prefer the sauce separate from the fish so that I can adjust accordingly. Great cook and nice crispy skin (remove or consume).Great neighborhood restaurant.

Wow! This place is fantastic! I usually shy away from large steakhouse owned restaurants as I find they are often overpriced, small portions, and often poor service, but this place was the complete opposite. From ambiance, to food, to service, everything was five stars! We also came during restaurant week and they did let up or make the portions smaller, which says a lot. I highly recommend everything we got, as I did not have one bad bite. The branzino was especially delicious and so was their homemade cheesecake (might be the best I've ever had). I already cannot wait to go back!

I came here with some friends for the restaurant week back in august. The cocktail drinks are good here and we also got a bottle of wine. For the restaurant week we got an appetizer, entree and dessert. I got the octopus salad which was good but the steak I had was not that great. It was a bit dry and one of my friends got the fish which was pretty good. Cheesecake for dessert was great and we also got a dozen of oysters to snack on. Overall the venue was a good place for a night out.

An all around A+ restaurant. I would recommend the tuna tartare, scallops, octopus, calamari, lobster, halibut, and salmon. If you're into martinis they are top notch... especially if made by Ben the bartender. He's everything that you want in a bartender: friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel at home.

Food and service were on point at Sea Fire Grill! It was a busy restaurant! But very lively and fun night. For apps we ordered - burrata - grilled calamari, was a huge hit! Highly recommend - octopus, everyone loved this! - beets salad, fresh big pieces of red and yellow beets - crab cake, one of my favs on a bed of salad - shishito peppers (normal a side but I got this as an app!) - fresh half dozen oystersMajor hits for apps were octopus, calamari and crab cake! Others were also very good and fresh. For entrees- porterhouse for two, which was a large piece, came out similar to how Peter lugars would place their meats on a tilted plate. It also came with a steak sauce. I asked the server what the sauce was and he gave me the ingredients used (house made) because I had a feeling it was Peter Lugars, funny enough when I said this tasted very similar to PL, he immediately told me that yes the chef came from PL! So if you are looking for PL quality, sea fire grill is your spot!! - trofie pasta with crab meat, would've passed on this dish, had too much cream in this pasta - squid ink spaghetti, very good! - salmon, cooked med and was delicious texture! - whole branzino, was Ok - and a few sides: Brussels sprouts was a huge hit! Cooked in a balsamic sauce and the broccoli rabe Deserts were tiramisu and the warm molten cake, which I could not stop eating! Overall, amazing food. Excellent service! And overall great way to spend a group birthday dinner!

The host and the waiters were very nice. The food was just ok for $150 each pre-fix menu. I ordered med bloodless rib eye & lobster and it was tiny and the steak was tough on top and lacked flavor, the mashed potatoes tasted like house cleaner. The piece of lobster was tender and fresh. My husband's steak and steak sauce were done perfectly. The chocolate mousse was rich and creamy.

It's a good option for larger groups because they have several seafood and steak options, and even some decent veggie choices. The prices are on par with NYC steakhouses and the food is as well. Minus two stars for a special of the day that they pitched us on. The waiter told us the specials and of course did not mention the prices for any of the specials. There was a truffle pasta side dish that sounded good, so we ordered 2 of them for our party of 5.The pasta arrived as 2 fairly small portions, but since we had plenty of other food (including 2 Tomahawks), we didn't think much of it. The flavor was "eh" and we commented on that but was a non-event. At "normal" restaurants, it would be a $15-20 dish, but given this was a Manhattan steakhouse, I just rolled my eyes but was not surprised by the $90 line item for 2 pasta dishes. $45 for a small, average pasta dish was kinda high, but was a small annoyance....Until I looked at the receipt again... there was an additional line item for the "truffle" at $240 for 2. That meant EACH small, average pasta dish was $165+ near 10% tax + over 20% trip = $215+. Not cool for the waiter to not mention that.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here for my wife's birthday.
Everything was excellent! We started with 1/2 dozen east & west coast oysters, lobster bisque, and beet salad! For entrees she had the king crab legs and I had a med rare filet. Everything was perfect and delicious! The service was attentive and on point! Definitely will be back!
Be the first to ReplyCame back after a wonderful restaurant week experience.
Thanks to Victor the experience was equally as good as the last time. Unfortunately we had a 7:00 pm reservation and although I asked for a back corner table, I was seated in the middle of a very very noisy restaurant. I could hear my wife so we were going to leave and Victor found us a table at the bar that was considerably quieter. We had the bone in NY strip, spinach and trufffle mashed. The food and service were outstanding, but once again thank you to VICTOR!!
Be the first to ReplyService was poor, food was good.
They took one hour to seat us (we had a reservation) and then 30 minutes to serve us the appetizer. We did enjoy the oyster and the tuna.

We came here for my parents birthday, they were able to sit 9 people for our reservation with ease. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. The blackened swordfish and branzino are highly recommended. The lobster squid ink pasta was also incredible. This is my 2nd time here and would definitely come back!
Be the first to ReplyFirst time visiting and had the ultimate amazing dining
First time visiting and had the ultimate amazing dining experience. I selected as establishment is part of the Seated network. Visited early afternoon around 3pm. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and was awed by the decor. We were seated immediately and everything progressed upward from the food, ambiance, and staff was exceptional. Our server Benson went up and beyond and made the dining experience exceptional. He had one of our main course pre separated for sharing as he stated it would be to messy to do on our own. From drinks to appetizers, to main course the chef did a fabulous job, thoroughly enjoyed every morsel from beginning to end. The purée sauce for the the scallops were divine. I tried a pasta called Forti it was delicious and as a Jamaican it reminded me of dumplings so I thoroughly enjoyed. I was hesitant about the squid ink pasta but Benson assured I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. The added spice kick was a bonus. To our surprise Benson provided us with complimentary Moscato, one of my favorite. Ordered pecan pie to go as I was delightfully full. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. As an added bonus since I booked via the seated app I received seated dollars from my bill which I can utilized for gift cards such as Uber, amazon, Delta, just to name a few. Use my referral code Michelle1454 and you also can be rewarded for eating out. Hope my review was helpful.

What an amazing seafood spot right here in the heart of Midtown East. Delicious food and amazing cocktails. Do it, you'll love it.
Be the first to ReplyClassy, sleek atmosphere.
Awesome drinks fresh seafood will definitely come back. Waiters are attentive. Many seafood selections on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyCame for a business dinner with our board members.
The atmosphere is business appropriate and the service was great. The seafood was great per comment from our guests. Most of them ordered the tuna as main. I tried the oyster Rockefeller. They were just the right size and tasted wonderful. For main I has the 20oz ribeye. This was the only disappointment. I double checked with our server that it would be prepared just as well as Benjamin's. Unfortunately, no. I ordered it rare and the steak was medium. It also lacks the char crust I liked at the Benjamin a few blocks down. So they were not the same. So while I would be back again for business dinner, I would not order the steak.

Did some research online for seafood restaurants in NY and this one came up as a potential. It was definitely worth the visit. We had an early dinner reservation on a Saturday and the restaurant was still packed with a healthy line of people waiting by the time we left. Service was polite and efficient. Restaurant a little dated, small dining room and older washrooms. Cocktails standard selection but properly done. We had the lump crab cake, oysters on ice, squid ink pasta and Maine lobster broiled. They really know seafood here. Lump crab cake nicely done meaty and minimal filler. Not exactly to my liking but a good representation of lump crab cake. Oysters were really fresh. Squid ink pasta was nicely done not overly salty and cooked perfectly. The lobster was perfection. They can do either steamed or broiled. Chose the broiled option and was really blown away from the cook on the lobster and the presentation. I've eaten a lot of lobster and they know how to broil it exactly. The lobster comes broiled perfectly not overly done and not under which happens at a lot of restaurants. The lobster was just right and perfect. Meat was moist and cook just to the turning point from raw and doesn't cross over to being overdone. They also present it and precut the lobster in a way that you can extract the shell like an expert. I was able to crack the huge claw and it came out intact. Scottish salmon was a nice thick cut and came out steaming hot and was also cooked perfectly to well done but not over done. As I looked around the room I was enticed by the the seafood platters and surf and turfs being served. If you love seafood and steaks this is the place for you. Overall solid old school steak and seafood restaurant dining in Manhattan NY.

came here for their restaurant week '22 menu and made a reservation. it still took over 30 minutes to get seated while we waited at the bar. the bartender didn't take our order until after about 15 minutes of us sitting there and trying to get her attention. she was still very nice once she got our drinks, but I don't think people should be waiting so long if they made a reservation. there was a group in front of us who was seated after ~35 mins as well so we know it wasn't just a one time thing. moving onto the food- the grilled calamari tasted burnt which made it so hard to eat. I had to cut off the really burnt parts and ate more of the inside which was a disappointing way to start my meal. the lobster bisque was actually really good and my bf savored it until the last drop. the oysters were so delicious we ordered another dozen and quickly finished those too! the filet mignon was not as good as a I was hoping. I asked for medium well but it still looked pretty rare to me in some areas and the outside was pretty burnt. I couldn't really finish it even though it was such a small piece so I took it to go so I could cook it some more at home. the cream of spinach was so good, but the dish was very shallow so there wasn't much in it. my bf ordered the branzino and hers fries which he really enjoyed. although the branzino tasted a bit bland to me. the desserts (ny cheesecake and raspberry sorbet) were pretty good as well, but nothing too spectacular. glad I was able to try these during restaurant week, but I can't say I would come here again.

This is my second time visiting this establishment and both times the food and service were outstanding. Dined here for a birthday dinner in late January and we both enjoyed our time. The steak cooked to our liking, the lobster, the crab cake, the octopus, it was all delectable. Thanks to Diar and Victor for making the night fantastic.

Be the first to ReplyCame here for restaurant week and wasn't disappointed.
Seated right away upon arriving and the service was fantastic. If my memory serves me correctly, I got the Lychee martini, and my date got the mojito. Apps were the fried calamari & burratta....dinner I had the filet, and he got the NY strip...his was better for sure with the hot plate and butter sauce. Then tiramisu and gelato for dessert. I will keep this place in mind for a future date night, very cozy and intimate.

Visited this location for NYC restaurant week and I'm so happy I did! The service and ambiance were impeccable and the special menu had variety and tasty options. We had the crab cake, imported burrata, and Bibb lettuce salad as appetizers. For entrees I had the Squid ink pasta with Maine lobster and my partner had the bone in NY strip with creamed spinach and truffle mashed potatoes. Every dish was amazing and I will definitely come here again.
