Sleep in smoke
This is my second time staying and I was very disappointed in the room. I reserved weeks in advance a non-smoking King room in the Guitar tower. I called enroute the day of check in to reconfirm. I called in the evening with the time I would be arriving. I was very disappointed when I arrived to find out I was given a smoking room. I said I would be flexible and would take two queen beds, or any other tower but I can't tolerate a smoking room. I was told they were sold out and nothing was available. Very very unacceptable in this day and age to force someone into a smoking room when they specifically asked for non smoking. And, to add insult to injury the check in agent told me we were near the night club which closes at 3am on the weekend so it would be noisy. So, a noisy smoky room is what I got. Gee, thanks. The room stank of smoke no matter what we did. We tried to cover it up, but everything smelled. It was a rough two nights sleep with the odor, but at least the noise wasnt too bad. I understand gambling and smoking can go hand in hand, and smoking in the casino tends to be the norm in a lot of places and thats fine. But I cant understand why there are still smoking bedrooms and how it is OK to assign those. Outside of that, I do like the casino and the restaurants. Everything is very expensive so be prepared. Its also a very busy place, especially since it was spring break and a few concerts, so bring your patience when it comes to dining wait times, elevator wait times and overall traffic, etc.

We stayed at the guitar hotel - it was great! Very clean rooms. The restaurant offerings in the casino were fantastic and the dealers throughout the casino were great. Overall, great offerings especially for a casino / resort. The casino itself is smaller than the Tampa Hard Rock, but there's also a shopping mall, club, and more food offerings. Will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Plenty to do with 2 pools and lots of resturants to eat at. Loved eating at the Hard Rock and The Bol. However, I was surprised that the resturants that were closed on Mondays were closed on Presidents Day. Would stay there again if I went back to that area.

Went to see a Jimmy Buffett concert and loved the hotel! It is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog, and we all had a great time. It’s clean and all the employees that we had encountered were all very nice! We liked it so much we’re going back again today to see KC and the sunshine band. It’s just a fabulous hotel. Also, the casino is extremely clean. That was a big bonus for my husband.

The sports book was a great place to watch a Monday Night Football game. Had some beers and did a little gambling. The crowd was into the game and the beers were flowing. It was a great evening for both my wife and I.

Absolutely wonderful service from check in on. Only complaint at all was it’s too smoky in some places. All in all wonderful. Thanks to everyone at hard rock. Oak council restaurant is over the top. Table games in the upper betting areas play with normal odds for blackjack. Others are 6-5 with hitting in soft 17

I'm a Florida Resident but was new to this Casino since I typically stuck to the local ones closer to where I live. That being said, after my recent stays, I must say: I am impressed! In South Florida, there's no better place to stay or to gamble. This is a beautiful property that is clearly well-run by employees that enjoy and take pride in their job. I stayed in both The Guitar Hotel and The Oasis Tower (both of which are the newer hotel towers.) Parking is free and not complicated. The room layouts/features are basically identical in both, although the Guitar Hotel is taller and has floor to ceiling windows, so you up your chance at having a great view. The rooms are casually luxe with some of the better mattresses/bedding I've experienced at a resort. The bathrooms are all marble with a huge walk-in shower and several shower-heads, plus separated water closet and huge dual vanity. One of the two massive pool complexes were closed during my stay, so I spent all of my pool time at The Guitar Hotel pool. They have chair-side service for food and drinks, but you need to be proactive in getting the wait-staff's attention depending on how busy it is, but once you do, everything comes out quickly. I had chips and guac and it was above average and in-line with general resort menu pricing. The Guitar Hotel rises above the pool like a spaceship and it is absolutely stunning to look at. There is also a beach and a lagoon area, which seemed to be more family oriented, but a nice touch nonetheless. I don't think I can count how many restaurants/bars/clubs/lounges there were, but I would say there would have to be at least 30 or 40, with about a dozen being full service sit-down restaurants. We ate at Council Oak and had incredible Salmon and top-notch old fashioned. We also did a late night round of room service (open 24 hours) and had a great burger and the homemade Blondie with ice cream, which is literally one of the best desserts I've ever had. Last but not least- the casino. It is massive, bright, clean, and super lively. Smoking is allowed but wasn't overly pungent and there's a large smoke-free slot area. They have a great selection of slots and table games. If you like slot's like me, you'll have no problem finding something that will suit your mood. Overall a really great experience at the Hardrock, can't wait to be back!
