Very nice restaurant with a nice ambience
We were in Sergios with 2 couples. The restaurant is very nice and the atmosphere is wonderful. We ordered lots of starters. All of them were very, very tasty. For the main course I had lamb ribs, which were perfectly grilled and very tasty. Simply wonderful. And then came the dessert. What can I say, we had 4-5 different ones and one was tastier than the other. The waiters were very nice and very attentive. Also very quick if you needed something. We will definitely come back here.

What a horrible experience. We ordered our food and they brought us the wrong salads but we waited so long we decided to keep them. When the waiter realized we were brought the wrong salads he gave us a had time about eating them. UNBELIEVABLE!! We ordered four main courses, two swordfish that we requested them to be cooked moist and not over cooked, one salmon medium rear and one bronzino. All four dishes came out well done and uneatable. At that point we sent all four meals back and we got a check and the four main courses were still on the bill. UNBELIEVABLE!! My advice to anyone thinking of going to this restaurant is save you time and money and go somewhere else.

This is a lovely and festive restaurant. As soon as we were seated bread, olive oil and a small selection of antipasto are brought to the table -So warm and welcoming. Everything we ordered was delicious. They use use a light hand in their preparations. Real Italian food is not smothered in garlic, oregano and cheese. The quality of the ingredients is allowed to shine. The made to order napoleon is one of the finest desserts I’ve ever had. It’s simple - delicate layers of pastry with pastry cream - perfect. We live in Virginia but frequently come to NYC. We look forward to coming back with family.

Our go to whenever friends or family are in town. Beautiful setting, people watching, fanatic menu and specials. Packed on weekend nights so go early if you don't want crowds.

Very pretty restaurant and professional wait staff; however on Saturday night the noise level was deafening and conversation was impossible. Very crowded restaurant with tables too close together. Our appetizers were delivered quickly. My husband said his clams casino were tasteless. My appetizer and the salad our friends shared were very good. Then we waited an hour for our main courses. When we asked, the waiter told us our food was coming; yet the couple seated next to us who arrived after we did, was served their main course way before we got ours. The 2 portions of veal sorrentino and our friend's pricey pork chop were overly salted. The other person in our party said the rigatoni bolognese wasn't very good. There are many better Italian restaurants in the Port Chester-Rye Brook area. Sergio's us overpriced and overrated. We will not return.

A group of six outside on the patio and we all loved it. They have an antipasta on the table whith some meat, cheese and olives as soon as you sit down - a nice start. The group split a couple of Artichoke appetizers which were very tender and well flavored with olive oil and garlic. Entrees included Ravioli Fungim, Capellini Primavera, Fuit de Mare, Risotto with Lobster, Veal Martini, and Regatoni Bolognese. I had the ravioli which had a truffle cream sauce. Used the bread to get every drop of the sauce. Everyone said entrees were great. Good wine list and excellent service.
Be the first to Replysuperb food - VERY noisy on Saturday nite
the food is excellent; plentiful and plated nicely. great selection. I had the branzino which was a special, friends had amazing 2 pork chops one serving ; veal dishes. all excellent. delicious bread and cheese/pepperoni/ olives as a courtesy app. generous glass of white wine very reasonably priced. all excellent. free valet parking. we went on a Saturday night. in my 50 plus years of eating out - the noises restaurant I have ever been too.the four of us had to basically read lips. it's a younger crowd and I suppose some from that generation is totally out of touch w their surroundings and the impact they have others. we would have normally just left b4 being served but the food looked amazing so we stayed. jam-packed w people who just shouted and screamed - very uncivil. however, I'm sure it's the vibe the owner wants. so, we will go back on a week day and eat outside if weather permitting. the service was professional but it took more than an hour to get out main course. no price listed for the specials. the restaurant was simply overwhelmed because it was more than jam-packed and the service just could not keep up. they did their best. there were no covid precautions.I highly recommend the restaurant if the issues I brought up don't bother you.
Be the first to ReplyService, social distancing, food
On entering the restaurant the bar area was three deep nobody was wearing masks and everybody was not distancing. The food was mediocre at best. We waited 40 minutes for dinner. Tables were approximately 6ft apart. Table behind us had another table come say goodbye no masks and very close to our table. This place needs to be monitored. Not safe! Never going back....

Our friends from Port Chester had reservations for Sat nite at 7:30pm. We were a party of 5. Upon entering, the bar was packed 3 to 4 deep with no masks or social distancing. Initially we had strong second thoughts as it looked crowded and were not 100% comfortable. We were seated right away and although our table was distanced from any other tables, the room appeared crowded. We asked for the manager and were assured they were operating at 50% capacity. We decided to try it as we were hungry and decided to take a chance. Appetizers and drinks ordered, no problem. We then ordered our entrees and my wife who has some food allergies placed her order with modifications. Our waiter actually wrote down all her allergies to insure there was no issue, which she thought was good. 45 minutes later, our entrees finally arrive. (And this is supposedly at 50% capacity)Three of us ordered a seafood Fra Diablo, and turned out to be a very mild light tomato sauce mixed in with some seafood. My wife's dish was served with a sauce that obviously did not meet her dietary request as she was ill all night, really disappointing. Once our meals were served we asked three times that a party of 5 or 6 that had congregated standing, near our table, be asked to move as they were very loud . Finally they did move, and we ordered dessert and after dinner drinks. Our waiter informed us that our apperitifs would be on the house as they felt bad about the party that stood near our table. Bottom line, we won't be back. For the prices charged, the inconsistent food quality, and service, there are plenty of better options nearby.
