Shunji was extremely delicious and such an enjoyable experience. Came here on reservation and upon entering we were seated along with another party. Since it's on a reservation based system, there's very limited seatings each day. Total of

Sushi is top notch, but at this price point, I would go to Sushi Zo. Other dishes are solid, but not as strong. I would do a cheaper lunch special here if it's still offered over the expense of an omakase dinner. Still, it's very high qu
One of the most refined sushi experiences on the Westside.
Shunji delivers high-end omakase with a quiet confidence--no flash, just top-tier ingredients and technique. Every piece is delicately balanced and thoughtfully plated. You can tell the chef puts real care into every course. The atmosphere is intima

From 2012-2020 the Michelin starred Shunji could be found off Pico blvd in an old 1930s building but in 2022 relocated to its current location off Ocean Park Blvd. It's a small nondescript restaurant from the outside but inside is modern, simpli

Everything was superb, everything is top notch, this type of food/service/experience comes at a price but if you can pay it, it's amazing.
The food here was mediocre and so expensive.
I dropped almost $600 here (including tax and tip) for omakase + sake tasting. The quality of this omakase isn't even worth half that, maybe $200 max (including tip and tax) for food only. The sake pairing was good but also too expensive for wha

I live in Seattle but whenever I'm about to go visit LA I always check to see if there's a reservation open at Shunji! To me this might be my happiest place on earth. Not just a huge fan of the food and the sake but both Chef Shunji and Y

I visited for the first time since the shop moved to its new location. There is no signboard for the shop. About five minutes before the reservation time, we were allowed to enter the shop. The interior felt like a very traditional Japanese sushi res

Going to an omakase experience can be a little intimidating, especially if there are six seats but my husband and I are the only ones that evening. Usually the omakase chef is serious, the space is quiet and you eat the food exactly how the chef pres
Connect with users posting reservations for Shunji Minato City
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Shunji Minato City. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Shunji Minato City at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Shunji Minato City page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at Shunji Minato City to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Shunji Minato City!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
