Pricey
Enjoyed a delicious brunch. Pancakes are amazing. Share one. Lovely atmosphere and good service. However it is way overpriced. It was $80 for 2 of us for breakfast and that was only one drink and we shared everything else.
Be the first to ReplyOverhyped - steer clear!
Had to wait 25 minutes to get a table, even though we reserved well in advance. Food was only so-so and well overpriced for what was presented to us on the plate. They seemed to be out of stock of various items (how can you be out of green tea - who does the groceries at this place..?) and waiting for the check also took the waiters 15 minutes (after which we received the wrong check, adding an additional 5 minutes to fix their mix-up). First and last visit to this overhyped joint.
Be the first to ReplyGood Brunch Menu. Next time I will try a different dish
The ambiance, atmosphere, and coffee were really good. My friend and I both ordered the HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH from the brunch menu. We were a bit disappointed as the sandwiches contained very little to no meat. We were served a HOT CHICKEN CRISPY SKIN SANDWICH. The flavors, seasonings, and condiments were good...just lacking meat. I do plan to return to try the pancakes.

We arrived right on time and I walked up to the hostess desk to check in and was promptly chastised by a full of major attitude host that other people were in front of me. They were already being helped as they did not have reservations and were told to wait and see. I had my daughter wait and deal with Mr. Treat patrons like mere mortals from his high perch. I also heard him making fun of two women that were leaving as I was coming down from the bathroom. Sitting outside was lovely, except that the wait staff seemed to forget about us. There were 2 tables down from us that they were all tripping over each other to help and even gave them my pancake order! The others in my party were done with their lackluster meals by the time they came. And they were horrible. So sweet and dense that I could only manage a few bites. I ordered a second latte that never came and my daughter a cocktail that arrived with the bill. Did I mention that is it much to expensive for the poor treatment by staff, the poor service, and poor food. I do not care if the owner responds to my review because there is nothing they can say that would make me go back there.

Good shakshuka. Focaccia is very tasty but wish more was provided with the meal. Nice, airy restaurant. Fairly loud but has a nice ambiance.

We had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant in Williamsburg. I had a burger and my daughter had a salmon toast. The food was excellent and we ordered the fries to go with burger. Service was good too.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible attitude, service and food. Avoid at all costs
Everyone working is so full of themselves they treat customers as garbage. Mediocre food and overpriced. Plenty of better more welcoming restaurants
Be the first to ReplySunday in Brooklyn - at South Street Seaport, NYC
Sunday in Brooklyn – South Street Seaport We arrived on QM2 on 8th March and took the ferry over to Wall Street with a view to climbing the Brooklyn Bridge and heading back to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The best laid plans came apart quite quickly and we decided to stop and have a coffee close to the waterfront. Sunday in Brooklyn at South Street Seaport looked pleasant and airy with an open, sunlit seating area. Lola greeted us warmly and pointed out how good the Artichoke and Cheese bake was ;-) Seated by a window and served by the excellent and personable Elvis (from Albania!!!!!!) my wife and I decided that coffee was not necessary and that ‘Champagne Problems’ were required. The cocktail is made with Sipsmith Gin, Becherovka, Spiced Cranberry, Spruce, Sparkling Rosé S’il vous Plaît spritzed. An awesome choice served with a real smile ;-) The Artichoke and Cheese bake provided a fabulously tasty snack together with 2 more ‘Problems’. The ambience and excellent service ensured that we were happy to stay and take in a bit of people-watching and discuss plans for the rest of the day. Sunday in Brooklyn provided the perfect location to collect ourselves, to relax, to enjoy fabulous service (Thank you to Lola, Elvis and Lourdès ;-)) We would not hesitate to return and we will definitely try the London outlet in the near future. Thank you for an enjoyable few hours.
