The Awesome Roll was awesome!
The special "Awesome Roll" is basically a dynamite roll with half torched salmon on the top. And it's delightful! That was the highlight of our meal. The rest was mostly okay. The Miso is less salty than many misos but was good. And we also liked the Salmon Teriyaki. On the other hand, the Gomae, while using very tasty spinach, was in a sauce of peanut butter rather than sesame...and it was pretty awful! I also asked if they had any Ikura (salmon caviar), since it wasn't on the menu, and our server had no idea what it was. The bill was pretty high (as is common with many Japanese restaurants) and if we return, we'll probably stick to the sushi and the rolls.
Be the first to ReplyHands down the best Sushi around!
We’ve been going to Sushi Park every 2-3 weeks for the past few years. It is hands down the best Sushi in Edmonton and surrounding area. Always consistently awesome .. worth the 1/2 hour drive to go there. Excellent food .. excellent service! Highly recommend!

Small quaint restaurant with a family run atmosphere . The food was excellent the service was above board .
You might have to wait but it will be worth it !
Real Japanese food
Excellent service and food, every thing we had was very good with full of flavours. Can’t say enough good things about this place . Been here numerous times.
Be the first to ReplySaturday night bite.
We were meeting a group later in the evening to catch some music so decided to stopi in here first for a bite to eat.
They were busy but we goat a table in about ten minutes. Seated and was brought hot tea to start which was nice on a cold Saturday evening.
Ordered a few things to share. Rolls, Mixed tempura and my favourite Spider rolls.
All very good and were pretty happy we decided to stop in for a nice change.
Service is very good for the fact they were very busy. Prices are fair for the type of menu. Portions are fair. Very limited bar offerings.
Craving a sushi style meal? This is the place I’d recommend.
Delicious sushi spot
The sashimi and the variety of sushi rolls are delicious. We haven’t been disappointed with that. The tea however, is not so great.
We had great service!
Detoured into town just to eat here
Once again we made sure to stop on our way through town. The Park Salad and French Kiss roll are my wife’s favourites and an assorted sashimi for me. We were so happy with our meal that we asked for the menu again to order some items that we hadn’t tried yet - we weren’t disappointed.

Every trip to the Edmonton area has to have Sushi Park on the itinerary! We arrived Friday and have eaten here 2 times already.
Best Japanese/Sushi on the prairies they we have had the pleasure of enjoying!
What A Wonderful Restaurant
The food was fresh and delicious and the service was very pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The restaurant is on a side street about 100 feet from Route 2. Park on the street or in a lot in back. Do not park in the lot next door as they tow cars.
