For me, Tamba is the best Indian food in Vegas.
I have been here 7 or 8 years in a row except for the last 2 years due to COVID. I come to Vegas for trade shows. After a week of rich food, and expensive dinners, some low-key and reasonably priced Indian always hits the spot. Tamba has all the standard Indian fare. The Korma is better than average. I have been happy with the Chana Masala, the naan, and everything on the appetizer menu. Tamba's location is not fancy. It is on the strip (which is a big plus) in a low-rent strip mall. Looks can be deceiving and the inside is nice enough. The staff is super friendly and always have taken great care of me. I will continue to come to Tamba on every trip I make to Vegas. I am always down for Indian food and always down for Tamba. Two thumbs up.

Tamba has been our on our list of Vegas MUSTS for probably about a decade. Their food and service have been great. And now, even while they are closed/relocating they even cooked us food and delivered it to the MGM (and my daughter didn't even say anything about being a repeat customer -- they were just this nice to us). Delicious food - worth the price.

I have no words to express how great the food is, we just ordered catering for 10-12 people and it's worth mentioning that the food was awesome and was sufficient for almost 15 pax. I have been trying Indian food almost everywhere in US and trust me it's the best Indian food you can ever eat. The owner is great humble and would go beyond your expectations.

Great place if you wanna just eat pay and don't expect any service great ambiance reasonable food zero service . We ate here a few weeks ago they were friendly till we sat down but once seated they didn't know we were there til we asked for the check we have never felt so ignored in a restaurant before hence even one star is one too many
Be the first to ReplyDid not have table for the size we reserved.
After I expressed my disappointment, the staff told me that I was pissing him off for complaining. I could not believe that a waiter is telling me this In front of the restaurant manager. Will never come here again!!!

Ambience, food and staff was excellent here! Great variety too. The highlight was meeting our excellent server Lucinda, such a beautiful heart, runs around like an athlete making sure every table is taken care of, has wonderful stories and makes everyone feel important and appreciated! Thank you Lucinda! Keep rocking it girl!

Absolutely Fantastic Dining Experience! 10 + Stars! The ambiance, comfort, excellent service and terrific food are just a few reasons why we love this restaurant! The ambiance is calm and comforting and the staff make you feel very welcome. Our wait person Kumar was incredibly kind and personable. He had a great knowledge of the menu and was very attentive. There was an older gentleman who helped serve and he was very respectful and kind as well. The food is authentic, tasty and in good sized portions. The spices and layering of flavors are just right and very satisfying. We had a ginger and lime drink that was very good. We didn't even know we were still "on the Strip" because the restaurant sound is so well controlled! It was a nice, quiet calm atmosphere with fantastic food and great staff! We will definitely return for more, and we thank the owners for such a great experience.

Be the first to ReplyOne of the most fabulous Indian food you get outside India.
Great variety in menu, and "superb" quality.Quite a healthy option, much needed during busy touring times in Nevada. The "freshness" of the food is unparalleled and still makes us wonder how the meals are so perfect there - we realized that the credit goes to the owner Rishi and the staff - they are the warmest, kindest people. So for a good ambience, Indian cultural environment and an eclectic menu, make sure to stop at this place if you are in Nevada, SoCal, Arizona and especially visiting this part of the country from abroad. In the photo, our son thought his new BFF, the owner was the new Captain America ever since Marvel announced that Steve Rogers is retiring (well... until he saw Falcon and the Winter Soldier) - so now he insists that Rishi is the new Iron Man and took a promise from us to specially make yearly trips Vegas to come to Tamba. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to leave such a lasting impression on our child and giving him all the love. If he ever needs convincing of something, we still remind him that if you don't do ..... then Rishi uncle / Iron Man will be upset and he immediately gives in because he can't let his idol down.
Be the first to ReplyThe Good: Nothing.
The Bad: Food and prices. The food was not flavorful and I had sent back dal makhni twice and the server kept forcing it back on our table after "improving it". Adding more masala does not improve the taste. I simply wanted it taken away for the poor taste, but for the first time in my life I was insisted so hard to eat, no matter how it tasted. The server stood next to me forcing me to "try the improved dal". How ridiculous! The bar menu does not have prices listed or may be we were given the version that doesn't. Ended up spending $28 for a large scotch peg. Insane, right?! I would rather spend such money on drinks elsewhere on the strip than at the Indian restaurant. The Ugly: What is going on around this restaurant! It's perhaps the worst spot on the strip. Very shady location! I wish our group of 10 wasn't so famished and had a little bit of strength left to go elsewhere, but we ended up here!STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Trust the overall rating on Yelp, it's not a 4 star or above for a reason.

Overhyped Indian restaurant that serves average cuisine at high prices. It is located in a deserted mall. We ordered dal makhani which was served as boiled dal. Lamb dish was absolutely gross. Lamb was hard and chewy and curry was smelling bad. Would not return back.

Horrible buffet!!! If you are planning to come here for a buffet, prepared to taste the worst indian food you could ever have. There is no effort to make any dish tasty. Stay away!!!!
Be the first to ReplyVery poorly managed.
Waiter was very impolite. Waiter forces you to order your entire meal at once. Brings all food from appetizers to last course at once. Many items from the menu were missing. Food quality/taste- 2/5Food quantity- 2/5
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food, but extremely overpriced.
Normally Indian dishes are eaten with rice or naan. At Tamba, you purchase the rice separately ($5). This is the equivalent of selling hamburgers and having to purchase the bun separately. So on top of having to purchase a $20 dish at Tamba, you are forced to order the rice, unless you want to eat the dish alone, which doesn't make any sense. Will never come back here again. Portions are also super small. Total rip-off.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible Indian food with authentic taste.
A must try in Vegas. Appropriate spices and preparation, the way good Indian food is suppose to taste. Servers are kind and prompt. Ambience is nice.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the worst restaurant ever I went.
Never ever try this restaurant even if you are dying out of food.
