I came here with two friends for a mid week dinner to break up the week and had such a blast! The restaurant was dimly lit (in a good way) with a candle on the table. Very cute and felt intimate despite a full restaurant. The food was great- steak

Food is excellent for modest prices compared to other steakhouses. Good representation of an Argentine churrascaria. Steaks were tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Nice sized cuts. The "Parilla" is also a great choice for 2-3 people to s
Great service and excellent empanadas.
I had the ribeye and it tasted great but was one of the toughest steaks I've ever tried to eat. I didn't send it back because I didn't want to wait and be awkward at the table of friends.
Tango Sur in the bottom of a residential building.
..this place has some great steaks they serve. A little quaint setting place..even has some live music at night....that just makes the place a great relaxing place to kick back and enjoy a conversation with someone. Wait staff was very attentive in

Normally I have a great experience when I come here but today was different. The food wasn't flavorful this time and the service was a little off as well. We felt forgotten and rushed.

Would be 5 star in the past, but their prices are no longer Tango Sur style prices. Good food, but the value isn't what it used to be. At this point their prices are not much different than any steak joint. Will go back because it's BYOB, b
Food was ok.
Extremely dark inside. They let dogs eat in the dining area. Looked like a friend of the manager was allowed to eat in the dining area, not outside on the patio. Pomeranian was sitting on her lap, basically on the table. Gross. This was clearly not a
Went on a Saturday night and got right in as a table of two.
Cute ambiance and the service was good, but sadly our food was not. Appetizer - mezcla Del Mar, was very fishy tasting, not fresh and our steaks (filet and T-bone) were both undercooked when we ordered "medium rare"

Out of everything i loved the empanada the most! Perfectly flaky she'll with tasty filling of spinach and cheese. We also tried the prosciutto on honeydew, it was an interesting combination and it matched. The fruit was extremely sweet. For ma

Old review that I've been putting off doing since it's been a while since I ate here, but still remains one of the best and most worth meals I've had in Chicago! Went with family and we got an assortment of food but the best plate was
Love me good food and BYOB.
Been back many times. A jem in the liquor purveyor's world
The food was excellent.
The empanadas were especially tasty as where the steak and the portion size was good.
Very disappointing
Had the worst experience recently. We dine here pretty often with my wife and friends. This time went with a friend and before we finished our desert and drinks they sent a young guy to kick us out - asking if we could leave as there were people wait
Phenomenal Food
Phenomenal food at a great price. Could easily be $100 per plate, but is half that or less. Hidden gem near Wrigley. Spinach mashed potatoes are unreal along with the empanadas & the steaks!
Great atmosphere and delicious food!
Great food and great atmosphere! The empanadas and the hot plate of provolone Cheese were delicious appetizers for our group! We finished with the variety of steaks and sausages to share! Yummy!
Could have been a great experience
This restaurant was on my list of places to eat for a while ago. We had a reservation when we made it to the restaurant. A waiter gave us a table pretty fast. The waiter, who, I believe did not introduce himself, asked us if we wanted something to d
Better chicago steak places
4 if us went last night. My wife and i ordered the mixed grill for 2. The steaks were barely edible and were so tough you couldn't cut them. Very disappointing. They should also introduce the chef to salt since everything was bland and unsea
WHAT A WONDERFUL DINNER - A TRUE JOY TO GO TO TANGO SUR
We (older married couple) had a celebration dinner at Tango Sur the other night. It was our third or fourth time there in a two-year period. The meat, as always, was just PERFECT. I had vacio, and my husband strip steak. Both steaks were cooked just
Incredible Mix of Chicago and Argentina
An incredible Chicago Argentina steakhouse with a wine bistro next door. Bustling, almost European atmosphere with friend - though busy - staff. We recommend the ribeye, the rello, and the empanadas. Youโll need reservations for this place and the
Great steak, perfect for dining with friends
This is a fantastic place to meet old friends. Alas the wait was quite long (so we decamped to a nearby bar) and handily when our table was ready we could BYO from the store next door. We all chose sirloin steak, generous portions, really tasty, lov
Stay away.
Service was awful and food even worse. Spoke to the manager and he insulted my intelligence. Will never go there again.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Tango Sur Chicago at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Tango Sur Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Tango Sur Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Tango Sur Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
