This is one of my top three places in Santa Rosa for Mexican food. We love their beans (a litmus test for Mexican food) and also love their Al Pastor (another litmus). Although the tacos and burritos are excellent, we often get the Tostadas - as we feel they really showcase the beans, and the flavors of the meats. This is a great spot, and run by very nice people - we love Taqueria Santa Rosa!

The Vegetarian Taco Salad was absolutely delicious! All the ingredients were very fresh and tasty! I love how the chips were not that greasy. I'm so glad they're still there and I'm wishing the family and restaurant all the best!

Not a bad price for burrito but it was very dry wish it had cheese and sour cream. Service was fast and simple didn't wait long for my order.
$12 for 2 tacos and a side of sour cream is CRAZY.
However, we did enjoy the tacos. The flavor was on point and very tasty. We were referred to this place by some local friends that said this place was good. Overall great tacos, but for 2 tacos at $12 and a side of sour cream, we won't be back!
Swung in here before wine tasting.
Didn't know what to expect but was extremely surprised. Food was really tasty . Family run business. They are wonderful people. Definitely eat here. Prices are reasonable.
My favorite Mexican food in SR hands down.
The flavors are unmatched and the prices are reasonable. My entire family loves this place, It's always been a part of the culture Rincon Valley. I only wish they had weekend hours.
One of the best spots in the Santa Rosa.
Just wish this little gem wasn't so deep over in Rincon Valley. Worth a trip, take it to Spring Lake or the park down badger. This place has been around forever, never had a bad meal or bad service here. My mom loved her tostada and the salsa here is just right. Really appreciate this place, keep it up.
It was better than some other burritos I've had.
I'm always in search of a burrito that has carne asada with some char on it to give the steak a lot more flavor. Still haven't found a perfect place for that yet. La Rosa was REALLY good then changed it somehow where the last 2 times I went it's nowhere near as good. I liked that this is by Oliver's and to go and it's quick and was for the most part happy except for the fact that I ordered the super burrito with everything on it and did not get sour cream or Guacamole. I called them and the woman who answered the phone said they would make it right the next time I came in. I got a combination chicken and steak and I wish it was a little more mixed but I would return as it's good for to go food
Ordered super quesadillas and burrito to go, and I have to
Ordered super quesadillas and burrito to go, and I have to say we were very disappointed. First the quesadillas was very greasy and the tortilla was very thin and not made as it was described with 2 flour tortilla with meat and cheese. The burrito was also greasy as well not sure if it was saturated by alot of grease on the grill
This is to me one of the best Taqueria's on the east side.
I have tried all other Mexican places and although they are good, this is my favorite. The owners are very pleasant and kind and have warm hearts. They treat you like family. We have been going there for years and always look forward to seeing them and catching up. Highly recommend!!!
Taqueria Santa Rosa is a day one classic.
Ever since I was a small child I enjoyed their regular burritos and/or their combo plate #9. Rarely misses would recommend.

I was ordering delivery for my mother who lives in Santa Rosa, who is celebrating her 78th birthday today. I live in Southern California, so I had no way to deliver or pick up the meal myself. I ordered online and when ordering, I found no way to change the delivery time, so in my notes for the order, I asked if they could change the delivery time to later. I didn't realize the delivery service was through door dash, rather than directly through the restaurant. Door dash cancelled on me when they found out the time changed. I called Door Dash and thought we got it worked out. No! I kept calling Taqueria Santa Rosa to see what I could do. I knew they were already so so busy, but I had no way to get the meal myself. The wonderful people at Taqueria promised me that no matter what they would make sure to get my mother's meal delivered on time. They did!!! And they gave my mother an order of flan to celebrate her birthday! My heart is so full with gratitude for these kind employees (owners/managers) at Taqueria!!! They even wished my mother a happy birthday for me. I filled my mother in with all the details about how wonderful they were, and she and my dad will definitely be going to enjoy the food at Taqueria again. The food was delicious and enjoyed by my parents. Thank you so much!!

I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla plate with rice and beans. They charged me $19! Insane. They said it's because of the rice and bean combo...ok and. Then I open it up to a round not cut quesadilla. Like umm...why not cut it for your customers. I'm eating this in the car. SMH.

Don't waste your time I got a super burrito priced at 13$ but with tax came out to 18$. It was sloppy the rice was undercooked no guacamole you are better off going down the street to molcajetes
Great salsa, fast and easy phone ordering.
Lots of aguas--canteloupe, pineapple, tamarind (they were out of hibiscus)--and of course horchata.

Excellent Grilled Chicken Tacos & very tasty black beans & the rice was perfect. The chips & salsa tasted great! I will definitely come back to this Taqueria!
Had a flavorful burrito on the way back home.
Size is not an issue here. I played it save and went with the chicken and it was pretty good, although I'm not a huge pinto bean fan - and there were a lot of pinto beans. The house salsa added a good deal of spice to the meal and necessitated a few glasses of water. The family working were great about making sure that I had what I needed. There were quite a few take-out orders placed during the time it took to eat my burrito, and throughout it all, the service made me feel that I was being taken care of. There's not a lot to the place other than a counter to place an order, the small kitchen, and about eight tables for customers. You won't be inclined to stay and hang out for long periods, but everything needed to enjoy a good meal is present.

I have not been to this place prior the Newsom lockdown of 2020 and the food was still delicious. There's lots of taquerias along Mendocino avenue but this is one of the better places to eat. The carnitas are cooked to perfection and great in a burrito .
