What can I say but I LOVE this place!!! I go every year for my birthday. The food is always AMAZING and the customer service is also AMAZING!!! You can tell they love what they do!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat experience overall.
The service was on point. Worth every penny. Authentic Japanese. I can't believe I've been going to Epcot for so many years and never eaten here. Highly recommend.
Be the first to ReplyWorth a try at least once! Shogun style table show.
Better than average with great results food wise! Service was great too!!

After a few years, we decided to try Teppan endo again! Same great service and food as last time! There was no wait, so we were sat quickly! Definitely will go back next time we visit Epcot!

Great service (friendly) and Great noodles! Our granddaughters liked the Teppanyaki show. But all else was mediocre; the chicken was low quality, dry / old, bland. The scallops were bad; small, and tasted old (and expensive). The Sake Mojito was also tasteless. Not a place to return; nor to even go if someone had alerted me. A waste of time, calories and insulting to our taste buds. Ambiance is Disney crowd management style.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is average to us.
The quality of the beef is on the lower side. It tastes grainy and over sauced. The chicken doesn't have much flavor inside but lots of sauce on the surface. Same as the vegetables stir fry noodle. Overall the food is on the salty side.

These types of hibachi/teppan yaki restaurants are really not my thing. Too much mediocre food in my experience and the show doesn't do much for me. That said, when someone suggested Teppan Edo for dinner I was intrigued, as maybe my son would like it. Disney is also the safest place to try this kind of place, given his severe dairy allergy (even butter). Walking up the stairs to get in is the way to go, as it's a pretty cool entrance. Reservations were backed up a bit however we got seated 15min late. Service was very good, as you would expect from both Disney and this type of restaurant in general. Our chef was a bit slower than some of the others nearby, however she did a good job cooking and was very nice. Got the Momo Whiskey Sour and it was unremarkable; would recommend going the sake route instead. I got the steak and shrimp, which came with a garden salad, udon noodles, veggies and white rice. The salad was a good rendition of the typical ginger dressing. The udon were more impressive; I usually hate udon however these were freshly made and soaked up the sauce they made nicely. Veggies themselves were very good. Shrimp were good however they did rely on butter (cooked after my son's); steak was better than expected and done to a perfect rare even if it wasn't the best cut of meat. Not sure why they gave so many sides of different extra sauces, however it was a nice--albeit unnecessary--touch. Portion size was the most restrained of any place like this I've been to; that said, there was ample food to be full. Most importantly, my son loved the show as well as the food. Obviously I liked the place. Kind of surprised how much too. After spending too much time at Via Napoli over the years, this might be the new move.

My hubby likes coming here and Food here is always pretty decent. My issue on our last visit was the seating arrangement. We were a party of two and had asked to sit on the end where there were two seats. At first they denied us that but eventually told us OK.
Be the first to ReplyThis dining experience inside the Japan pavilion at EPCOT
This dining experience inside the Japan pavilion at EPCOT is hibachi style. Admittedly it's not my favorite hibachi in the Orlando area, but if you're going to be inside the theme park and you want hibachi it's definitely not bad. Our chef was fun and was able to accommodate a few allergies at our table very easily. Meals come with noodles/veggie mix, white rice, a salad and your meat choice. It's a cool experience for the little ones to watch the meal be cooked at the table, so that's a plus too. One of the reasons that this restaurant doesn't get a 4-5 is because I just felt like my food was ok, nothing special especially for the price.
Be the first to ReplyTeppan Edo is a staple in the Japanese Pavillion of Epcot.
The staff, dressed in the traditional kimono wardrobe, seat you to enjoy a Habachi style dinner and also offer a full sushi experience in a separate restaurant next door. Make a reservation to avoid long wait times. If you order the hibachi dinner, you choose what meats/proteins you would like grilled by the tableside chef over an open flame hibachi grill (shichirin) 火鉢 with vegetables and a side of white rice. The sauce choices are a yum yum sauce, ginger-onion based sauce, and soy sauce. The chicken and shrimp is a full serving, plated at your seat in front of you. The shrimp and chicken were cooked well, and the sautéed vegetables were well seasoned and juicy with flavor. If you prefer thicker noodles (in comparison to lo mein), you'll enjoy the udon that comes with your meal. Expect a decent sized crowd, and full tables in the evening, the ambiance is busy, family friendly, loud and lively. You will be seated with others if you have a party of 2-3, because the tables seat about 8 guests. Enjoy the shops and firework show (in the evening) downstairs on your way out! Rating: 6.5/10
Be the first to ReplyThis hibachi restaurant is nothing special compared to
This hibachi restaurant is nothing special compared to other chain hibachi restaurants. With your protein you get salad, noodles, and white rice. Whereas typical hibachi restaurants you get soup, salad, fried rice, and noodles along with your protein (and at a fraction of the cost). To top it off, this restaurant is FILTHY. It is in desperate need of a carpet replacement. The floors are dirty, it is dusty in there, and the air ventilation is poor. It is hot in Disney and even hotter in this restaurant. If you're looking for a good dinning experience worth the money, look in other countries throughout Epcot.
Be the first to ReplyThe hibachi was amazing as well as our waitress, Sachaki.
It was my birthday, and she made me a chef's hat and drew Minnie Mouse on it. She made our family dinner celebration even more special!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Hibachi steakhouse experience - not to be missed -
Great Hibachi steakhouse experience - not to be missed - the chef provides table side preparation of the food with gusto and charm. Everything tasted fresh and great.Patrons are seated in groups of 8 in a semi circle around the hot plate where the chef performs - if you do not want to share a table you should look elsewhere to eat - and if you only want a snack there are other options - leaving while chef is performing is not on this menu...
Be the first to ReplyThe saddest excuse I've had for hibachi.
I was very excited to try this at Epcot. However I was met with the most sub standard meal I've ever eaten. Also cost me $150. I've had better hibachi in the middle of nowhere Kansas. It's sad to say the least, a place with so much potential and almost unlimited resources to be so bland I didn't even want to finish my plate. Will never be eating here again.

First time dining at Teppan Edo and it was a great experience. Servers are friendly and attentive to customers needs. I had the salmon while my boyfriend had the chicken/steak combo. The salmon was perfectly grilled and filling. The chicken and steak were tender. The chef was entertaining but seemed burnt out as we had a later dinner reservation. Overall a fun dining experience with good quality food.

Like many of Epcot's world showcase restaurants, the faire at Teppan Edo is presented with a uniquely Disney flair and plenty of hospitality. The hibachi presentation had some fun characters touches thrown in, like hidden Mickeys and an Olaf made from onion. The food itself was okay, my shrimp entree narrowly dodged being overcooked, but my companion's steak and chicken were unenjoyable. The udon and veggie mix were the stars of the grill themselves, and the california roll appetizer was definitely worth trying.
Be the first to ReplyGreat place.
. great food... great service. One of most favorite places to go every time I take a Disney vacation. This place is located in Epcot, in the middle of the world showcase. They are very nice here. The prices are definitely on the higher side so I would only make this a special occasions thing. 10/10.
Be the first to ReplyTeppan Edo in Japan World Showcase at Epcot is a great
Teppan Edo in Japan World Showcase at Epcot is a great place to dine. We could not get a advanced dinner reservation after trying multiple times. At the Epcot, we tried for dinner reservations but no luck. Our friend randomly tried lunch and a reservation was available so we took it.It's a Teppanyaki style meal where a cooking a show is provided by the Teppan chef (like Benihana). Our Teppan chef was the first female (Asumi) that we experienced, and we have eaten at numerous Teppan restaurants such as Benihana, Tanaka of Tokyo, Hana Japan Steakhouse, etc. She was excellent! Asumi was skilled, very interactive, friendly and a great cook. All of our orders were prepared and cooked to perfection. The cooking show Asumi put on was very entertaining and meshed seamlessly with her meal preparation. The seafood and meats were all cooked as ordered. Everything tasted excellent! If you're going to Epcot World Showcase, make reservations at Teppan Edo for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

So I'm losing my mind, but there's a good chance the inside was completely changed. Last time I was here, which was Im thinking, 12 years ago, and the time before that when I was 17, I could have swore this was half sushi bar, half Teppanyaki grill tables, but when I went in this time, it was only Teppanyaki tables. We had the pleasure of having a girl as our cook. I have never had a girl as a Teppanyaki cook before. Her name was Momoko. She was so kind and funny and did a wonderful job cooking our food and making it fun for us. The whole building I believe container 4/5 rooms and each room had 4 tables in it. The food was amazing. Cooked absolutely perfectly. We tried the sashimi plate and unfortunately it only came with 2 pieces of each fish, but they were sooooooo tasty and fresh and perfect. It was a wonderful experience. Glad I chose to revisit after all this time

We could only secure evening reservations due to booking a few days out from our stay, but I would highly recommend getting a reservation here. Reserve early! The filet was beautifully cooked, our chef was professional and entertaining, and the cocktails were delicious. It's a great sit down place to rest your feet and refuel your body during your visit to Epcot.

I'm not much of a fan of Benihana, Kobe or Tanaka which Teppan Edo draws on the same style of cooking. Food is good although not outstanding and much of it is dependent on the chef and how "flash" he/she brings to the table. I would pass on this one.
Be the first to ReplyYes this is the best pace ever.
We had a great waiter and a good chef. The food was so good we just got some duds at table which made it uncomfortable. The lady across from me just stared and me and my son. But the food was great just weird if you get strange people to sit with.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is ridiculously overpriced.
They do not serve fried rice only white , the noodles are very thick and slimy the meats has no flavor what do ever and the show was very minimal. My daughter and friends ended up getting stomach issues after our experience. I do not recommend the hibachi area however the sushi wasn't bad !!
Be the first to ReplyGood experience.
Disney is expensive but at least we got a good meal for the price. When we consider all of our dining experiences at Disney this is one of the better ones. The service was flawless and the teppan Chef was talented. We ate well and had a good time (and they treated our daughter like a princess). Recommend.

Teppan Edo was a highlight in our eating experience at Disney. I was so happy to eat real food that was not a chicken tender or a french fry.We had a late lunch / early dinner and it was so necessary to be able to sit down and rest away from the hot sun and crowds. Our table was shared with another party and it was a blast. The people we meet at Disney always turn out to be great and fun people.Teppan Edo is food and a show. Our chef was so funny and cool. If you pay attention, there are so many jokes and little Disney touches like an oil Mickey. The food was good and filling. The sauces are a little bland but the steak itself is excellent quality. I do wish they would offer steak on the kids menu. We had to order an adult steak entree and swap it with a kids shrimp entree so that my niece could have steak. We were celebrating a birthday and got complimentary green tea soft serve and a paper chef hat for the birthday girl. Thanks Disney!
