I suggest you disassociate youself and your name, Martha Stewart, with The Bedford Restaurant in Las Vegas. My daughter and I just had dinner there tonight and were very disappointed. Thinking of you and your personna as a "perfectionist", I believe you, also, would not have been very happy. A half-chicken for $49.95 made us think it must be so exceptional to command such an exorbitant price. Instead, it was very salty and nothing to brag about. On the level of maybe a Costco roasted chicken; however, you get a WHOLE chicken from Costco and it's quite inexpensive and not overly salted. The Scallops with lemon risotto was the other entree. The scallops were properly cooked; however, the risotto was absolute MUSH. There was barely a rice texture at all. Similar to minute rice overcooked for 20 minutes. The restaurant's atmosphere was like being in a sports bar...noisy with a huge bar and TVs right in the center. I have lived in Las Vegas for over 50 years. I have seen famous chefs and retauntours plant their names on so many eateries in this town, and most of them have been so very disappointing. I guess the mentality is that tourists will come and go so they don't have to try harder to please everyone else, especially the locals. So sad!
