Excellent hotel with beautiful and interesting decor
This is a unique hotel because it is a renovated historic building. The rooms are beautiful with first rate finishes, and the hotel is very clean and with turndown service. The location is perfect if you have business in lower Manhattan and it's a short walk to the World Trade Center, several subway stations, and the 9/11 memorial. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and classic with warm lighting and quirky interior decor. The bar is beautiful and breakfast was to die for. Staff from bellmen to front desk and house cleaning all very lovely. Multiple Sunday entrances and lines close by, Brooklyn Bridge and ground zero at your doorstep. Especially loved the new tubing by Jean Gorges at the seaport. Amex platinum benefits were the icing on the cake. Can't wait to stay again!
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel, good location to the financial district
As you soon as you arrive the greeting form the doorman sets the tone for friendly welcoming staff. The bedrooms are adequate in size, comfortable beds, and plenty of wardrobe space if you're staying more than a couple of nights to unpack. Functional, stylish bathroom. All toiletries provided +dressing gown, slippers. Complimentary tea & coffee in the hotel lobby in the morning. Whilst I did not use the bar and restaurant area proved popular. Only 4/5 because of the amount of noise through the night, to disturb sleep. I stayed on the 4th floor, mixture of the lift drive, the gym, bin men and external building works. My colleagues staying on higher floors were less inconvienced.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay. We were in town to visit our daughter who is an emerging NY playwright. We were attending a reading of her work in mid-town. We liked returning downtown each evening to the relative tranquility of the WTC area. Great dessert and nightcap each night. The architecture of the place is a stunner. Beautiful lobby. The gorgeous restaurant/bar space with a kaleidoscopic atrium view is a highlight. Great Fulton St. Subway access with elevator to get the A Train we needed for mid-town. Amex Platinum Fine Hotel and Resort benefits were honored. Our room was upgraded and our credits applied at check out. We'd definitely stay here again. Wife adds: "Every piece of art work is fabulous." She's still talking about the Panda artwork in our room. Concierge was very helpful to us in timing our Uber to LGA for a very early morning flight. We'd definitely stay here again.

Incredible stay at The Beekman from the first moment to the last. Can’t recommend highly enough. Brilliant location with downtown on the doorstep and getting anywhere else in Manhattan / Brooklyn super simple. Special shout-out to Ed on the door who is a real gent. Can’t wait to come back.

The old building is grand. The new annexation in this hotel is ok. More of a soulless block than the great facade you see in photos. We were given warm welcome and looked after well by all the staffs.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Beekman. Walking distance to great restaurants, and various points of interest. The staff was great, especially Ed at the front door. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

If I can give this place 10 Stars I would. Everything was perfect. The staff in every department was so nice and awesome!!! Ed the doorman really made our stay extra special with his restaurant recommendations and his wonderful inviting personality. This hotel is absolutely unique and stunning and it is in a great location within in walking distance of the World Trade Center Memorial, museum and lots of other things. I definitely would stay here again and hope to do so soon. Thank you for an awesome stay. You guys ROCK!!!

A beautiful property, historic and vintage, feeling, yet modern, and upscale. Located in the financial district, the location gets you away from the more tourist spots in Manhattan and is a little less busy. Our room was very nice and could be considered spacious by NYC standards. It was nice that the bar and restaurant are right there outside of the elevators if you want to grab a drink or a quick meal on your way out about town. The staff was very accommodating and friendly all the way from the front desk to the doorman, definitely a property worth checking out.

Be the first to ReplyThe Gold Standard of Customer Service
The beauty of the Beekman and the history of the Beekman are surpassed only by the quality of the customer service at the Beekman. We did a lot of research on history hotels in NYC and chose the Beekman for it's location and history. We were not expecting to be treated like royalty by everyone from the doormen, to the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The doormen made quite an impression on us. Always ready to lend a hand, open a door, carry a bag, the doormen went above and beyond when they took the time to give us directions, tell us about the neighborhood or share a thought on what they suggest we see or do. The front desk greats you every morning, complimentary coffee in the lobby and an incredible bar round out the initial impression. The real brilliance of the Beekman however, is the quality of the stay. We were placed on the 4th floor. I was concerned with noise given the construction on Nassau street. The room was incredibly quiet, very clean and beyond comfortable. It's close to anything/EVERTHING you need. We walked to ground zero, battery park and the brooklyn bridge. Easy walks to china town and little italy. 2 blocks to the fulton st. subway station. We plan to stay at the Beekman on all future trips to NYC. Thank you Beekman staff. Give those doormen a raise!
Be the first to ReplyElegant and cozy, with incredible service
Lovely hotel, convenient to the subway, great food, and wonderful service and staff. An extra bonus is the unusually spacious rooms, which are rare in Manhattan. Easy short Uber to all that Tribeca and Soho have to offer. I’ll definitely stay here again.
