The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year

Tried Bacchanal's buffet last year, so I decided to try the Wynn's buffet this year for my trip to Vegas. I decided to do the advanced reservation, where you can pay up front during the reservation too, which allowed you to bypass the walk-in line. While Bacchanal at Caesar's Palace had more offerings, I believe that the quality of certain foods that I prefer are better here at the Buffet @ Wynn. Bacchanal is a bit pricier, but I would probably go for their dinner with seafood vs. their breakfast. For the Wynn, I really liked their breakfast offerings, as there are different sections for Asian, Italian, Mexican, and some other general offerings. There is also a meat carving station, with ranges for pork, chicken, beef, and turkey. There are also really fresh fruits at their fruit bar, some juices (my favorite were the strawberry guava & the mango), and some decent salad options. I liked that they also had a vegan caesar salad option (no anchovies), along with their regular caesar salad. I believe I probably ate like 5-6 platefuls of things, and my boyfriend and I just got different things on our plates to sample different things. Overall, I liked the food, but it's obviously just a tourist trap. It's a one and done kind of situation for me, just to try it out. The staff are super nice, there's plenty of offerings for different age ranges, food cravings and such, but I probably wouldn't visit any of the buffets again. I'll try things outside of the strip :)
Beautiful buffet
Nice buffet with pretty decoration. They have great selections of desserts and ice cream. Ok for the seafood and meat selections.
Great buffet.
Went with my boyfriend around 11am and there was a short line for people with reservations. The party ahead of us were waiting for a few people and we were next in line so we had to wait for them too . We booked online and it was around $55 per person which wasn't bad for what we got. Quick list of what we tried (from memory): Fish and Chips 4/5 Ube Honey Toast 5/5 Papas Bravas hash browns 5/5 Maple bacon 4/5 Brisket 3/5 Dungeness crab 5/5 Eel Nigiri 10/5 !! Banana foster Crape 5/5 Gelato 5/5 Service was great! Took a bit to get our drink orders in so we went straight to the buffet and when we got seated the server was there to take our orders. Each time we got back to the table our plates were cleared and drinks were refilled. A fun and delicious place to bring a group of friends or one other person.
My friend and I ended up eating a total of 5 rounds of food
My friend and I ended up eating a total of 5 rounds of food because we wanted to get our money's worth! It was about $75 each! So we made sure to at least eat our money's worth in crab. The food was so, so, so, so, so good. There were so many options to choose from, from seafood to Mexican to Mediterranean to Japanese. There were so many options. This buffet is a seafood lover's dream; the amount of shrimp, lobster, and crab I ate made me feel so, so sick. They have a build your own crepe bar as well as a taco bar. The food all tasted delicious and it was well worth the money! I would say the only negative part about the experience was the wait, which happened to be 1 hour and 45 minutes long standing in a line. I feel as though there are way more efficient ways to handle walk-ins. I also thought the interior looked pretty tacky for a place that's so popular and well-known with such good food. But overall, a great experience. Note: They charge your card first before you start! They don't play that dine and dashing here lol!
Buffet food๐๐ค๐ฅ
Dining at The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas offers a journey through a plethora of culinary delights, with a special emphasis on seafood lovers. This expansive buffet boasts an impressive variety of dishes, ensuring that every diner can find something to their taste. From fresh oysters to succulent crab legs, the seafood selection is vast and generally of high quality, making it a standout feature for any ocean fare aficionado. However, it's worth noting that while the buffet excels in many areas, the sushi offerings might leave some guests feeling a bit underwhelmed. The sushi, although diverse, doesn't quite reach the high standard set by the rest of the buffet's offerings. This slight disappointment aside, the buffet redeems itself with an extraordinary array of desserts. The dessert section is a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth, featuring everything from classic cakes and pastries to more innovative and indulgent creations. Guests are advised that a 2-hour dining window is ample time to explore and enjoy the multitude of options available. This time frame allows for a leisurely dining experience, giving you the chance to savor your favorite dishes and perhaps discover some new ones along the way. Overall, The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas is a feast for the senses, offering an extensive selection that can satisfy nearly any craving. While the sushi might not meet everyone's expectations, the abundance of seafood and desserts, along with the comfortable dining time, make for a pleasurable and satisfying meal. It's an experience that buffet enthusiasts, especially seafood lovers, should not miss when in Las Vegas.
Great selection and the food tasted great.
Service was good when needed. The price may be high for some but most will find it worth it.
What Happened, Wynn Buffet? Plus, A Salty Revelation Okay,
What Happened, Wynn Buffet? Plus, A Salty Revelation Okay, let's chat about my latest trip to the Wynn Buffet in Vegas. This was round three for me, but man, things have changed since the last time I was there pre-pandemic. I went in hyped, ready to dive into what I remembered as one of the top buffets in town. Spoiler alert: it didn't live up to the memories. First off, we queued for an eternity. I get it, good food takes time, and I knew the price tag was hefty. But honestly, I'm not the type to fuss over dollars if the experience blows me away. This time though? Not even close. The adventure started with some fish and chips and lobster soup that had me reaching for my water glass non-stop. Too salty. Then came the steak--a main event at any buffet worth its salt (pun intended). The chef serving us must've had a rough day because the vibe was more 'angry diner cook' than 'welcoming buffet chef.' His attitude was a downer, but the real kicker? The steak was a chewy, flavorless mess. Big bummer. Seafood round. Oh boy, where do I even start? Sushi that was more mush than fish, eel that could double as a shoe sole, and shrimp that... well, let's just say the smell was a hard stop for us. We bailed before dessert. Couldn't do it. We did the responsible thing and flagged down our server, hoping for some superhero management action. Props to the manager for offering to comp half the bill, but let's be real, the night was already a bust. Quality over price, always. The aftermath wasn't pretty either. Food poisoning's no joke, guys. It put a serious damper on our Vegas vibes. Then it hit me. The over-salted dishes? Maybe it's not just a misstep in the kitchen. Could it be a strategy? Salt everything heavily so the food lasts longer and guests drink more water--keeping us less focused on the food and more on staying hydrated. Kind of a sneaky move, right? Makes you wonder if there's a method to the madness, a way to make us feel like we're getting our money's worth while actually nudging us away from the good stuff. So, yeah, Wynn Buffet and I? We're on a break. It wasn't just about the money (though, ouch); it was the letdown of it all. From sky-high expectations to a plummeting reality, it's a tough pill to swallow. And now, with this salty scam theory in mind, I'm even more skeptical. Here's hoping they find their way back to the buffet glory days. Until then, I'll be keeping my buffet cravings in check, and maybe packing my own salt shaker--just in case.
Definitely Worth It
The dinner buffet was awesome with plenty of choices. Clean and well stocked. The seafood was delicious as well as the made to order crepes. I will be back.
Over rated experience
This buffet is no better than most in Las Vegas. The variety of selection was pretty good but it was very busy with a lot of dodging other guests. My daughter loves a buffet but I find them too chaotic and the food is usually mediocre, even at the Wynn.
Worth it!
Excellent! Somewhat pricey but arguably worth it. We took advantage of their version of a reservation system, which requires you to pay the FULL tab in advance. By doing that, we didn't have to wait in a long line for a table. We were seated almost as soon as we arrived.
Where We Bout To Eat At This is BRUNCH at The Buffet
Where We Bout To Eat At This is BRUNCH at The Buffet @wynnlasvegas Ok so I normally don't do buffets BUT @wynnlasvegas brunch is definitely an exception!!! I will go here EVERYTIME I visit @vegas If I recorded everything we ate this video would be 5 minutes long! From the fruit, to the soup, to the salad, to the meats, to the treats...if you have a taste for it, they have it!!! We especially enjoyed the seafood bar stocked with EVERY kind of seafood imaginable, including lobster and crab legs! The seafood boil was amazing as well! The meats were extremely good and were paired nicely with a variety of fresh breads and rolls. The soups were hot and flavorful and the salads were fresh. The side dishes did what needed to be done. Brunch is $55 and the dinner buffet is $75 and it's worth EVERY PENNY!!! A beautiful spot for families! #vegasbuffet #vegasrestaurants #vegasresortfoods #wherewebouttoeatat #itsdgl #danigirlliving #boujiebudgetblogger
Normal taste food and selection.
Super high price. Not going to go back again. Only thing it is better is the desert.
If you are going to "BUFFET" in Vegas, the Wynn buffet is
If you are going to "BUFFET" in Vegas, the Wynn buffet is absolutely my favorite one. The quality of the food was amazing. I am a sashimi/sushi type of girl so the variations of sushi rolls and the option to make my own poke bowl was so good. Obviously the crab legs are so good as well...the meat cuts were flavorful and cooked to perfection. And finally the desserts...talk about NOT YOUR TYPICAL desserts ..lol you are going to love it. For sure.
I was looking for a buffet with lots of vegetarian options,
I was looking for a buffet with lots of vegetarian options, and this buffet has mostly meat options and few vegetarian options. I was able to eat fruits, salads, pizza, spring rolls, and many of the breakfast items. The food was just ok. I was not happy with the quality of food considering I paid almost $60. I will not be coming back.
I think Wynn buffet is better than the Caesar one.
All those snow crabs legs either hot or cold. There also have the meat section & caviar bar too. Their wait-staff are really nice they always come and check if you need refills on drinks n take your dirty plates away. The place is huge, clean and plenty of tables. Come here early or else the line can be crazy long if you are not the platinum or black card member. If you are then there a priority line really short.
Unhappy customer
So dissatisfied with the Wynn seafood buffet. The crab legs were small and very hard to open even though it was partially cracked. There was no smoked salmon. The other items hardly had any seasoning. The desserts were small and no bread pudding. For $74.99 it was not worth it. Wynn buffet is nothing what it use to be.
DONโT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU
Long wait, almost two hours, food way, way over priced for the quality. If your not a seafood person, definitely not worth i the price of admission. On the bright side, itโs a nice space, gorgeous property and excellent shopping.
Fabulous and fresh buffet
Although one of the pricier Vegas buffets this one was worth every dollar!!! The food was all fresh and really great quality. Lots of seafood and fresh meats and salads!! Various drinks packages but soft drinks and some hot drinks are free and part of the entry fee. If you are definitely going I would recommend paying in advance online which then gives you priority queueing. We waited just t mins to get in whilst the walk up line would have taken at least 45 mins- 1 hour to get to the front off!!!
A Taste of the World
What I love about this buffet is you can literally eat your way around the world. There is everything from Chinese to Japanese to Italian and more. There are simple dishes like pizza and mac and cheese for children and those who want traditional dishes and more unique dishes like the jambalya seafood boil (soooo yummy) for those who want to experience new dishes. I absolutely loved that their desserts were so mini that we could sample a bunch without feeling like we were wasting. Overall a wonderful experience. We all left with happy tummies!
This is definitely the best buffet in Vegas.
So many unique dishes that are all full in flavor. I loved the seafood and Japanese section. The crab legs were such high quality and were always in stock. I genuinely don't have any complaints about this place. The servers were quick to grab our empty plates. They were always accommodating and quick to service us despite it being so crowded. Dining area was very clean and beautiful too! One tip: get a reservation if you can. It took us about 1.5 hours to get seated without a reservation on a Saturday at noon. Definitely check online and few weeks prior to your trip.
Disappointing sea food
Overrated sea food buffet Advertised everywhere as THE seafood buffet, the experience was mediocre at best. Embarrassingly the seafood was very limited (snow crab legs, shrimp, sushi prepared by someone who has no clue how to make sushi, and some mussels/clams). No lobster, no grilled fish or any similar offerings. Now, the non-seafood section was actually much better including dessert. So itโs a toss but we wonโt be back.

Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been โmatchedโ with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!
