The Farm Italy Restaurant & Bar Huntington Reviews from The Last Year
Delicious food, fabulous service and lovely restaurant!
Delicious food, fabulous service and lovely restaurant! Such a pretty place! I loved that we were not rushed and could enjoy the atmosphere !
Beautiful, from the presentation to the ambiance and staff.
Food is amazing. Just an overall wonderful experience.
I love Farm Italy! Staff is fantastic! I love the gem salad
I love Farm Italy! Staff is fantastic! I love the gem salad and the prosciutto. The rigatoni pasta is amazing. The restaurant is absolutely stunning as well!
I was raised on the Amalfi coast of Italy by my Italian
I was raised on the Amalfi coast of Italy by my Italian chef mother, so I know my "Cibo Italiano". This is a stellar place with regards to Food, Service and lively ambiance. The Sommelier, Mikhail, is a down to earth encyclopedia of wine knowledge, without any pretentiousness. Charles, behind the bar is quick, sharp and a great conversationalist. The staff is amazing and so far, the food has never disappointed me. Their wines by the glass are all super interesting and great values. Enjoy a second glass of wine on me!
A very strange place.
I went here with my husband and son at 4 pm on Wednesday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We didn't make a reservation, but 90% of all tables were empty. I asked for a table and they told us to wait. We waited for about 10 minutes and no one came to us, but 4 people came and also asked for a table. The hostess asked them to wait 30 minutes I came up and asked about our table. But she told me that we had arrived at the wrong time, since they did not know how many people would come for dinner, so I asked if all the tables were reserved? Answer is: no, but I still need to wait half an hour Guys it's soo weird
Pretty bar.
Great drinks- Food- After all I ate, there's no dishes that are memorable or spectacular.
Absolutely incredible.
Got the crudo and rigatoni with spicy sausage. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were so nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is so beautiful and definitely worth the splurge.
All the dishes were well prepared and fresh.
Baked clams, baked meatballs, crudo along withy he calamari are great appetizers to start. The strip steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was excellent.
What can i say, To open it up me and my beautiful date
What can i say, To open it up me and my beautiful date shared the Summer salad special. Light, joyful, elegant, refreshing. We joined that with the baked clams which were perhaps the best Ive had in a long time. Perfectly baked and seasoned, a version of casino like it was always meant to be. The stars of the night shined bright. The veal Milanese had the perfect crisp you want to run your knife across. The veal itself perfectly thinned and fresh as could be. Each bite becomes better as the life of the lemon flys in with the fried goodness. The rigatoni dish brought sparks to the night and simply stolen the show. A perfectly spiced sauce you just want to swim in with savory crumbled fennel sausage. All dishes were enjoyed with delicious cocktails, a well done Negroni and vanilla Aperol spritz.
For the long ass wait for my reservation.
The hype was not what I expected at all. I thought since it was nearly impossible to get a reservation on a Saturday it was a spectacular place. Sub par food. It wasn't too crazily priced. It's an up scale Olive Garden. My drink was good though.
Good for one time.
I've eaten at many Italian restaurants and I wanted to given this a try. We ate upstairs and the food was good. The bread, antipasta, and main corses, which included chicken parmigiana was delicious. I will say that water from the air conditioning units were dripping on my parents and I will remind the owners if they read this review that this issue needs to be attended to. The atmosphere was also a bit noisy and it's difficult to hear yourself think. Still would try here at least one.
Nice, but not sure what the hype is all about.
Pretty from the outside, cute seating when the weather is nice, bar area nice. Tables for two are pretty close to each other. You can't help but hear the conversations of who is sitting next to you. Our server Kat was very sweet. Attentive, but not over bearing. Now I know whey they have an hour and a half for parties of two, they rush you through your meal. No time to digest in between. Drinks were okay, we each had two Farm Italy Lemonades and they tasted like lemonade, couldn't take the Tito's. The $10 plate of four rolls was good, but not worth the money. The two baked meatballs were luke warm at best. My husband had the pappardelle, and it was steaming hot. I had the chicken parm with a side of rigatoni and both was room temperature at best. Wasn't going to complain and have to wait for it to be microwaved. I boxed it up and took it home. It was our anniversary, and we were presented with a half glass of prosecco which was a pleasant and appreciated gesture. Well, we can say we went and tried it. Wouldn't rush back. So many other local places we like better.
Meh!
I don't understand all of the hoopla about this place. Nery Pretty setting and the service was great, but the food was just mediocre. No bread on the table. Paper table cloths. "Caesar" style salad was tasteless. Bronzino was dry and overcooked. Fingerling potatoes were drowned in salt. Flourless chocolate case was mushy and pistachio iced cream was bland.
Farm Itay is a beautiful restaurant.
The staff is attentive and good. The menu is varied with nice choices. No restaurant is cheap today, and Farm Italy is no exception, but not outrageous by today's standards. The problem is the food. We had a salad to start which was very nicely prepared but a little over-dressed. The main courses were disappointing. Not bad, but just lazily presented and on the flavorless side. I had scallops which were a little chewy (over cooked) and my wife had Branzino. The scallops were served on 50 cent sized polenta discs that must have been prepared well in advance. the were dnce and chewy and had zero seasoning. The Branzino was equally without flavor (except salt) and the broccolini was undercooked. Desserts were a bit more creative. The flourless chocolate cake was topped with excellent pistachio ice cream and the cake itself was very good. We also had basil ice cream with strawberries and balsamic vinegar. Very creative and tasty. Poorly presented though. As I said, the decor is lovely, but there is not a soft surface to be found and the noise reverberates. On top, the music was too loud. I like to talk to and listen to my dinner companion. It was a challenge. My last pet peeve is charging $10 for bread. The scallops were $10/each so I think there was a fair profit margin. And I don't begrudge being charged for the service, decor, etc... But $10 for a roll is just irritating.
Very beautiful dining experience last Saturday, 3/16.
Bathrooms were clean and atmosphere was stunning. Outside would be really great in warmer weather. For appetizers we had the artichoke hearts and the caprese salad. LOVED the artichokes more than the caprese but overall, both were great. For entrees, we had the scallops and the pappardelle which they were kind enough to make with marinara sauce instead of beef bolognese-absolutely delicious. Our server was new but he did his best and was attentive. Despite not having chocolate, the olive oil cake was delicious!! A great experience for good Italian food in Huntington Village!
I was super excited to try Farm Italy after seeing it on
I was super excited to try Farm Italy after seeing it on social media so much and knowing how popular it is. Honestly was a bit of a let down. We made a 2:45pm reservation, there's a 15 min grace period. After finding parking we walked in at 2:57, the host told us (in kind of a snotty way) they only hold reservations for 15minutes so we will have to sit by the bar. The math wasn't mathing but I really wanted to like this spot and didn't want to be a Karen so we sat at a marble table by the bar. Our server Nick was attentive and friendly and did a great job. We got the house bread, mussels, branzino, grilled chicken and a cappuccino. The bread was very good, probably the best thing we ate. The mussels had zero flavor. My branzino was good enough but I've eaten tastier branzino I made myself at home. And all the food needed seasoning. It was weird to me the entrees all had the same two sauces on them. Like the sauces on my branzino were the same as on my friend's chicken. Idk seemed uninspired and barely Italian tbh. Nick made me the most fire cappuccino though. It's so beautiful it would be a great place to sit outside with a cocktail/coffee and catch up with friends and have the house bread and maybe burrata/Italian meats but I really can't recommend the food I ate to anyone. For the price point, I probably won't be returning unless it's for a cappuccino in the sun with friends. I'd rather eat amazing food in whatever ambiance than average food in good ambiance.
This was my first and will be my only visit to The Farm
This was my first and will be my only visit to The Farm Italy. First, I have never been to a fine restaurant that doesn't place bread on the table. When I asked for bread, I was told that bread is an appetizer with a cost of $10.00. This is an Italian restaurant and Italians love their bread as do most nationalities!!! Second, Six or seven pieces of tiny cheese were placed in a small dish on the table. When they were gone we asked for more and were told only the first placement was on them. If seconds of these small pieces of cheese were placed there would be a charge. Third, the water glasses are very small. We had to ask three or four times for refills as no servers took notice. Usually, the server or bus staff will keep an eye on water glasses but not at The Farm Italy. I don't know why they simply don't place a carafe on the table, as other fine restaurants do. The food was mediocre and nothing special. Huntington, New York is a mecca for fine restaurants that are willing to serve your every need with professionalism. All are willing to accommodate the customer. Not at The Farm Italy. I'm not accustom to writing poor reviews but feel strongly that this review is warranted. I also feel it's a place to see and be seen with all the hype. If you're in Huntington try another restaurant.
Don't get the hype.
the reservation scarcity is man made to make people think it's in demand. Place had several empty tables on a Friday. Food is meh at best and portions are incredibly small for the price. My wife had the scallops which were overly salty and on the rubbery side. I had the branzino which was very thin and came with a fragment of broccolini as a side. The fried zucchini was mushy and a little plate of Parmesan cheese was a weird thing to put on the table by itself, with no bread or olive oil. Service was ok, waitress didn't want to break my bill for the valet which is not cool for a place trying to cultivate and upscale clientele. Bartenders were great. The 3 ladies working the bar were attentive and had eagle eyes. The spotted people two rows deep waiting for drinks and served them. Not like clowns who refuse to make eye contact. Ambience is very nice. Lots of different rooms and a grand staircase. The upstairs room is very classy with the seating area and fireplace. Overall it's fair at best. it's riding its wave on the restaurant sites. There's a lot of competition at this price point like the Northport Hotel which is not quite as big but worth the try.
Overall excellent meal!! Delicious old fashion, not
Overall excellent meal!! Delicious old fashion, not pictured was fritto misto fried calamari appetizer which was great. House bread as our server Nick said is a MUST! Salty and delicious. Both entrees were large and tasty. Dessert tiramisu was to die for. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future!
Make the reservation even if it's 4 months in advance.
You won't regret it one you taste the food and drinks! The picture speak for themselves. 10/10 on everything. You feel like you're walking into Italy, vibes are impeccable. Very beautiful but still cozy.

Had been wanting to come here for dinner and when I saw a reservation for a night we could go I grabbed it. Gorgeous place, amazing food. I could see why everyone loves this place. I'd recommend it and they have valet parking! Not that we used it because we came a Tuesday night and it was easy to park around the block.
This place is legit.
Everything about it was to good. Service is top notch. The food is great, and the menu speaks to people with different pallets. I got the rib eye. It was on par, even better than, some of the steak houses I've been to in the region. The pasta is fresh and delicious. Definitely worth it if you can get a reservation!
Waited 45 minutes past our reservation time only to be told
Waited 45 minutes past our reservation time only to be told by the hostess is we gave her $100 we would already be seated!!!! Disgusting!!! We left ! I would never come here again

Our server nick was AMAZING and so personable, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and when i was torn between 2 entree he suggested the Bronzino which came out perfectly, an excellent recommendation. We got a clam appetizer as well which was so flavorful. The food was great but to be honest the service makes me want to return in a heart beat.
Worth a visit!
Charming decor, wonderful service (thank you, Ethan!), delicious food, reasonable prices, Peroni on tap. Having said all that, I don’t know why it was so difficult to get a reservation since there are so many equally good restaurants in the area - no Saturday night availability for weeks so we went on a Wednesday night. The misto(?) salad and pork chop were both awesome. Definitely worth a visit!
The Farm, Besito, The Shed... all top shelf
Outstanding in every way.... Valet parking, bar/drinks, from the app to the meal and dessert. Beautiful lighting and comfortable seating with plenty of room. The staff is top shelf and the owner even checked on us personally. Can't wait to go back again. The Basil Gelato was incredible.
Finally made it there, wow!!
Finally made it to Farm Italy. It’s so hard to get a dinner reservation so we opted for 3:00. Now I know why it’s so hard to get a reservation, the place offers everything, beautiful ambiance, great food, wonderful attentive staff. Our server Shannan really made our experience superior. She suggested some items, was extremely personable and made sure we had everything we needed. We choose the house bread and the meatballs for our appetizers. Perfect combination, dip bread in sauce. My ravioli was perfection, cheese, cippollini onions, truffles in a cream sauce. 6 raviolis will fill you up. My husband had the prawns, so tasty with a little spicy kick. For dessert we had the affogato and olive oil cake, great finish to a great meal. Kudo’s again to Shannan, ask for her next time you go. Lastly, they have the most comfortable chairs I ever sat in at a restaurant.
Dinner with the fam
Food was great. Love the warm bread it is a must. We also got the Tagliolini, that was very good too. The entrees were great. The decor is beautiful.
Cute spot for long island
Great experience. Authentic food and amazing environment.

Forget trying to snipe reservations online by waking up early and booking top restaurants at Carbone or Tatiana or Cote or 4Charles. After 2.5 months of booking reservations by setting up alarms, waking up early to sell appointments. It’s very hard to cash out on this app. During cash out, you have to pay $5 fee +3% transactions fee and max payout per day is $150.
Advice to new users:
- do not mass book reservations
- fill bids only
- don’t try to book reservations online, you need connections and call the restaurant
After putting in about 40 hours of work, I’ve made about $750 sale on this platform but gotten paid $0. Take this with a grain of salt.

I’m sorry to hear these negative experiences some of you have experienced. There is definitely a learning curve. The main reason the listings are not selling is that too many new sellers have been listing hundreds if not thousands of reservations for sale. If there are 30 reservations listed for sale at the same restaurant on the same night maybe 2 will sell. That will leave 28 unsold reservations and if you want to sell you would have to be the lowest price listed. The value is gone if you have to drop your price to $10.
Several sellers have offered training but sadly no one seemed interested.
The money you have earned is yours but you just need to keep your numbers up.

I’m sorry to see your numbers so low with 397 unsold and zero sold. You should reach out to whoever sponsored you as a concierge intern. That person should be happy to help you get moving in the right direction. I have sponsored a few people and I always take the time to help them with their sales.

Yeah I did exactly what you just said not to do. Mass booked. Tried different markets. Got black listed on Resy. Found other oddball places people keep looking for but STILL have not made one sale. And it will statistically take me 100% of the next 100 sales to get paid per this new sell-through rule. I used this as a fun little side challenge during my down time at work and if any of the 600+ connections I added ever take off, it might be worth the “claim” Lol but to hear you say after $750 in sales you have yet to see a penny, I wish I had this advice 2 months ago myself before I made the mental commitment 🙄
