The NoMad Restaurant Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
A massive food vs expectation nightmare
Perhaps I had expected too much. I thought that Daniel Humm was involved in this operation, if he is, then I would respectfully suggest he gets more involved. I hate criticising waiting staff and so I won’t, it’s not their fault that this place is all wrong. But, the food is dreadful. Just dreadful. This is Weatherspoons standard at Ramsay pricing and not very good at all. Less than ripe tomatoes with the burrata and the worst fish stew I have had anywhere in the world. Literally. Just bad. Undercooked. Poor sauce. Just dreadful. I am lucky that I got my favourite vineyard wine. And that has made this okay. But please, don’t come here for the food.
Went for our 20th anniversary, took along time for food to
Went for our 20th anniversary, took along time for food to come. I had New York strip steak and wife ate some Chilean sea bass. The wife was not feeling the greatest and only ate a few bites. We had this guy come to take our food. We told him we wanted to take home box. Found out after we had dessert the guy threw food away. Totally ruined our anniversary. I was very disappointed with the customer service.
I was impressed with the ambiance and decor, the service
I was impressed with the ambiance and decor, the service was phenomenal. The Bolognese was great. I have a couple of critiques . first the dishes need a little clarity. The chicken was delicious but I couldn't make out what was what. We ended with the tiramisu, for $48 one would expect a "show" presentation and it was , but part of that show was smoke. The smoke infused every part of the dish and basically ruined it. The bitter smoke overwhelmed any taste of the chocolate egg, very disappointing.
Well guys I decided to go back and see I could get that ole
Well guys I decided to go back and see I could get that ole feeling again. After the terrible brunch incident this is my first visit back and it was great! I didn't get my normal night server but I had an amazing substitute! CHARLIE WAS AMAZING ! He has restored my love for this place. I went for late night food and music ! I was so impressed with Charlie and he is a 10-star for me! I took two of my girlfriends. The live entertainment is great and we actually were able to pick our table. It was close to closing time. We had delicious drinks and fresh delicious food! Charlie made sure we were happy and he even helped us with our boomerang ! He is so personable and professional! He's added to my list for sure! Thank you Charlie and yes l will be back.
Wow, this place has such a cool vibe, it totally lives up
Wow, this place has such a cool vibe, it totally lives up to the name, and then some, we love it here. First let me say you've got to check it out, it's quite a unique experience. The food is delicious and service is excellent, you're gonna love this place as much as we did.. I Promise!
We celebrated a birthday with a large group of friends.
We loved our experience at Nomad Library. Food and service were phenomenal. Ambience is classy and elegant. Don't be afraid to browse Rockefeller's book collection.
Loved VIDA ate breakfast twice during our stay.
Servers were amazing food was great. Beautiful decor. Highly recommend you make reservations in advance of your stay. It get crowded and wait can be long. Plan ahead. Loved it!
Amazing food and service in an incredible venue .
You must try the house special chicken for 2 - perfectly juicy and bold flavors. We split the hamachi starter too - great flavor combinations. Finished dinner with baked Alaska. Everything was simple but then elevated- even the roasted broccolini had a great broccolini purée over the top - just boosting the flavors. Great experience overall
Okay this is where I have to start off with the ambiance.
It was beautiful. It was like a scene from Disneys Beauty and the Beast. And I mean that in a great way. Just surrounded by all the books, mood lighting and the comfy couches for couples to enjoy dinner together- was perfect. You have a few different staff that come around but one main one. He stated the most popular were the New York steak and macaroni and cheese with truffles. We decided to go with the prime rib, truffle baked potato and mushrooms. It did not disappoint. The prime rib was fantastic (chefs kiss) and I never want another baked potato made any other way. They had a delicious port option that we ended the night with. The music was like a random mix of 80s (ride the train, ain't no body, let it whip). Which I can get down to. They have a lot of different areas for private parties or events. Everyone wished us happy anniversary. Where valet is where entrance is, super easy to get to. Definitely give yourself time to drive though with it being on strip. Best way was from the back off Frank Sinatra street. Definitely check them out!
Go for drinks, pass the food
Went in for a late night bite. Hostess at the front seemed annoyed and made it a point to let us know that NoMad was a ‘chill’ bar and not wild. Kind of a funny comment but we brushed it off. We ordered drinks and they came promptly. The espresso martini was delicious. For food we ordered the chicken bites and hot dog (topped with truffles and bacon wrapped. They were under whelming and wouldn’t order again.
Everything was perfect.
.it is such a cool place to eat! The books are real as well and you can take them off the shelf and read them. The side are HUGE! I recommend the Brussels sprouts they are tangy and cooked to perfection!
Exquisite food and beautiful room.
The service is impeccable. Would recommend to anyone interested in a memorable dining experience.
Valentine's day wonder!
Happy Valentine's day! NoMad Library is adorable! Love the ambiance. Our server was great! Food was good, though there were a couple dishes that were "experimental" rather than flavorful. Overall, a great time and experience.
Great restaurant in Vegas!
This restaurant is set in a library. The food is amazing and the bar scene is also great. The restaruant is loud, (when we were there) but you are sill able to have a great conversation. I will definitely come back. Service was only ok but the atmosphere was one of a kind!
Hugely disappointing
Service was slow, the waiter didn't ask once whether we were enjoying our meal (probably they know better than to ask in this place), they forgot to bring our bread (and didn't bother to bring it even after they realized), they charged us $69 for the filet when it is listed at $65 on the menu, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and it arrived well done (it was also butterfly cut - what kind of mcdonalds cook butterflies a filet?), the $10 virgin cocktail was literally a glass full of ice with a quarter cup of beverage, and the bolonese was luke warm and bland. I know it's vegas and everything is overpriced, but for $150 our meal was a total ripoff. The ambiance is the only reason to visit, but don't bother getting food, just go for drinks.
Probably a one-time visit
I started with the caprese salad which was delicious, then had the crab carbanara which had a good flavor and fair amount of crab, but I agree with other reviewers, the food came out warm, not hot. The island time drink was more floral than I thought it would be and the limited drink menu was disappointing. The server and gentleman who refilled water glasses were both nice and polite, however the server was not very attentive. This is certainly not a place for a quick meal.
Romanced by NoMad
What an incredible experience. NoMad Library has a visually stunning dining area that delivers a luxurious yet romantic ambiance. Our appetizer, fried artichoke, was the best example of the dish I have ever tasted while our Cioppino and Chilean Seabass entrees were savory, delicate and merged flawlessly with each dish's accompanying ingredients. The service staff was knowledgeable, attentive and added to an already wonderful atmosphere. Nomad Library is truly a five-star dining destination.
Classy date night
We had never been and went one night and it has great atmosphere and a great place for a date night. We shared the fried chicken and had a couple of drinks while live music was being played. We would go back when back in vegas.
the BEST!
We had an amazing experience at NoMad. Daniel was incredible and really knows his stuff; from the drinks he brought us to start, to the wine he later paired with our dinner!!! He spoiled us and made us feel like VIPs. We will definitely go back next time we are in Vegas.
Excellent experience and will be back.
The fried artichokes were amazing. Please do not miss out on those. My sea bass was absolutely incredible. My husbands NY strip steak was only decent. The mac and cheese is also another one to not miss - it was fantastic. The ambiance is spectacular. We will definitely return and both get the sea bass next time!
Under the Radar beauty with food prone to impress
Now nearly five years since opening, Chef Daniel Humm and partner Will Guidara divested from the project and locations in New York as well as Los Angeles shuttered, NoMaD continues to perform well in Sin City thanks to the boutique hotel’s proximity to T-Mobile Arena plus a dedicated clientele. Opened when Eleven Madison Park was hot off its award as the “World’s Best Restaurant,” décor still striking and service improved under the guidance of Nick Servedio, NoMaD Library offers Dinner from 5:00pm until 10:00pm Thursday through Sunday. Surely an expensive project, though menus prove inaccurate to those listed online, it is thanks to a knowledgeable and well-informed staff that decisions come easy whether one chooses to revisit classics or indulge in seasonal additions. Designed as a looming library with low lighting, as luxurious a space as any in town, it was after a quick description of artwork in the lobby that a curved leather booth was offered, posh cushioning offering comfort for the next two hours that began promptly with complimentary Popovers served adjacent a ramekin of salted Butter. Utilizing a captain plus several servers and bussers who make sure guests are never for want it was perhaps twenty minutes after seating that Duck Liver marbled with Fruit arrived, memories of Manhattan in 2008 rekindled by peerless technique while a Burrata Caprese with Peaches also performs admirably. Next offered a tableside show of Tartare, Yellowfin Tuna tinged with spice glistening atop crispy Rye, NoMad now makes three Pastas in-house daily including one infused with Black Garlic served alongside Asparagus. Squash and Peas. Waiting another thirty minutes for NoMad’s infamous Chicken, “No Diggity” bumping subtly overhead, fans and first-timers alike will be hard-pressed to name a more “Restaurant-worthy” piece of Poultry than this version perfumed by Truffles and Foie Gras while tender Scallops given the “Peas and Carrots” treatment are prepared precisely as they ought to be. Further impressed by Side Dishes, small in portion but more fairly priced than those at Bavette’s or other Sin City Steakhouses, it was after devouring every bite of Broccolini and a heavily truffled Potato that Dessert menus were presented, Milk & Honey still present but upstaged by flaming Baked Alaska and $50 Tiramisu that is shattered with a hammer to yield bitter-sweet brilliance in an array of textures.

Hi @ExhaustiveMilk80, to be able to hold a bid you must have either the key holder medal or concierge medal. Holding bids allows you to work on trying to secure the reservation without someone else getting it before you and filling it
