Everything I expected The Ritz to be.... Pefect!
I took my wife there for her 40th birthday & was everything I expected it to be. The wait staff were perfectly attentive, service was impeccable, the food was absolutely perfect & the champagne was the best I have ever tasted. I literally cannot fault any of it. Perfect experience & will be going back very soon.

This is for the bar as we stopped for a drink before heading to dinner somewhere else. Nice bar and very clean. Staff seems very professional. We will try the restaurant next time we are in London, perhaps for our wedding anniversary in December.
Be the first to ReplyIt’s the Ritz, it couldn’t be anything but absolutely fabulous!
Yesterday our afternoon tea was at The Ritz in London. If you’re looking for that quintessential luxury London afternoon tea then this is it Establishment and Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s the Ritz, it couldn’t be anything but absolutely fabulous! Level of Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service was fabulous. Napkins were placed on your lap, all the cutlery you need is there ready, clean plates I brought before you need to ask and teapots are checked and replenished. Very professional and attentive and of course they are impeccably dressed in their livery. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t even know where to start. Six wonderfully fresh and interesting sandwiches which were replenished! The scones were brought to the table warm, which made them delightful to eat. Plenty of clotted cream and Jam. There were three petite fours, one was a magnificent Banoffee pie. I actually didn’t try the other two. Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly eat anything else, out comes the dessert trolley. There were two options a chocolate torte and a Rum Baba. I took the heavenly Rum Baba that just melted on the tongue. It that wasn’t enough food they brought you a box of petite fours to go! You are certainly not leaving the Ritz hungry! Now let’s talk about the tea. My first pot was a Jasmine Dragon Pearl and the second pot was a Ceylon, both delicious and seemed excellent quality. Tea and Tea Ware ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Teapots, sugar and milk jugs were all silver and the plates, cups and saucers were made exclusively for The Ritz. Just beautiful. Value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This afternoon tea was priced at just £85. Money very well spent in my opinion. You will be hard pressed to find a better establishment, or a higher level of both service and food. Overall Score ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #AfternoonteareviewsbyLindsey
Be the first to ReplyA week in luxury
We stayed here for my 40th birthday celebration. The level of care and attention to detail is unmatched from any hotel I have ever stayed in. We had a minor medical issue and the hotel staff responded with calmness and were able to handle the situation. We had in room dining for breakfast multiple mornings and the amount of food we received was substantial. We also enjoyed an afternoon tea in the Palm Court. This is something that I will never forget. My husband has coeliac disease and they were able to accommodate his dietary needs so that he can enjoy tea as well. They made him gluten-free finger sandwiches and desserts. Everyone treated us with kindness and respect and we’re willing to help at every turn. If being catered to is something that you need in your life, I highly recommend staying at this luxury hotel. As a mom to 2 small school-age children having someone take care of me for a week was an amazing experience.

Absolutely loved my experience at the Ritz. On arrival the porters new my name and gave outstanding service and were uniquely dressed. The room was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. My partner was impressed with the Dyson hair applince. The guest were full of smiles all enjoying their day.
Be the first to ReplyMy stuff got stolen in Ritz Hotel
I went there on April 13th 2024 to have afternoon tea. And my bags got stolen in Ritz hotel, my birkin 25, my money, documents, cards all got stolen, and they did nothing about it and refused to let me check the cctv to let me see what the thief looks like!!!!

Came here for lunch to celebrate 2 birthdays & a graduation. Absolutely faultless from start to finish. I could rave & rave, but I'd run out of characters, go you will never have an experience like this again. Thankyou to The Ritz, I really hope I return again xx

Taken by my best friend for my birthday to the Rivoli bar for cocktails much smaller than I imagined but was such a lovely experience , I did find the cocktail list quite limited but very lucky to be treated to quite a few which were lovely ( passion fruit martini and vitality which was yummy) the piano playing in the lobby was lovely and looking forward to visiting for afternoon tea some Day

Afternoon tea with my daughters to celebrate birthdays and a new job. The staff made this a fabulous experience. They were all so friendly without being too in your face. Good food too, plentiful and delicious, was an absolute treat of a day and worth every penny. Thoroughly recommended. Special thanks to the bell Boy and also to the lovely grey haired waiter who was so friendly, sorry we didn’t get your names.

Afternoon tea to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. After many hints over the years about trying 'the best', I surprised her on the day. It was everything and more of what we had seen and read. Beautiful surroundings, faultless personnal service, delicious food and drink. The celebration cake was the perfect addition. Thank for making my wife's day.

High Tea at the Ritz London- Crème de La Crème! This was my big “60” birthday, and I felt like a queen. Simultaneously, we were watching “The Crown” where it talked of Mohammed Al Fied saving the Ritz from ruin, and rebuilding it’s royal reputation- Well Done!

A really wonderful experience, they even upgraded us because they didn't have our booking ready in time. Perfect location right in the midst of everything. The customer service was absolutely wonderful, and the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous!
Be the first to ReplyQuintessential British royal tea rite
The Ritz London Afternoon Tea is the quintessential British royal tea rite. Entering the worldwide famous 1906 Grade II listed 5-star hotel in Mayfair you are blinded by the gold shades of the lavish Louis XVI style furnitures and sparkling chandeliers. “Tea at the Ritz” is held at the opulent cream-coloured Palm Court with panelled mirrors in gilt bronze frames. Dress Code requires a jacket and tie/papillon for men. Priced from £70 for adults and £48 for children I was amazed by the 18 different types of loose-leaf tea to chose from served with silverware. In addition to that we have been served baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve, salmon/ham sandwiches and exquisite pistachio/chocolate pastries adorned with the Ritz “R” logo. The elegant ambiance is complemented by a musical ensemble from the resident pianist. You are gonna walk across a time capsule that so many iconic people such Anna Pavlova, the Aga Khan, Paul Getty, Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower and Charles de Gaulle experienced. An absolutely wonderful gift. I gifted this to my family and I suggest doing so. Afternoon Tea is served daily at 11.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, and 7.30pm.

Be the first to ReplyA weekend I will Remember for ever
My dream has always been to stay at the Ritz. That dream came true on 18February 2023. My wonderful husband booked the night stay to celebrate my amazing dad who I lost 2 years to the day. From the moment we got out of the taxi we were made to feel special. Walking in we were met by the wonderful Jackamo who made us feel that we were the most important people there. He was polite, friendly and very professional he showed us around and his knowledge of the hotel was fantastic. Our room was sublime and every person we met were friendly and went out of their way to look after us. The Ritz oozes glamour and decadence and the attention to detail was off the charts. I know that many privileged and important people stay at the Ritz and for this weekend we were made to feel very very special, that is all thanks to the staff . The food was exceptional and the cocktails out of this world. We are already saving for our next stay. If you ever get the chance to stay or have afternoon tea or just go to the Rivoli Bar for a cocktail or 2 then grab it with both hands and enjoy.

Had a fantastic afternoon tea here to celebrate my mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary. Cannot fault the service and attentiveness of the waiters- their attention to detail was second to none. They even spotted that my mum was little cold and gave her a blanket for her legs. Even the doorman was wonderful, taking extra care to help my dad who is disabled. The food itself was amazing and they brought separate cold drinks for my daughter who doesn't drink tea. They also had a separate selection of cakes and sandwiches for my other daughter who is vegetarian. We all had an afternoon we will remember for a long time, worth every penny.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful stay and lived up to expectations
We've been lucky enough to stay in some of the best hotels around the world and the Ritz did not disappoint. Everything inside the Ritz is immaculate and thought out. The opulent gold everywhere is beautiful and this carried through into our room (superior king room). We expected our room to be small but it was plenty big enough. The decor was in keeping with the style of the Ritz and it was extremely well kept. We were worried it might be a bit tired inside but this was not the case at all and all the upholstery was in immaculate condition. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the slippers, and the room had good amenities with a Dyson hairdryer. We did miss the lack of kettle but it was fine for one night. There was also a cake in the room for my mothers birthday which was DELICIOUS. The bathroom was a nice marble with asprey products and the bath tub was very deep. Before dinner we visited the Rivoli bar (i booked it in advance) which is a must. It's so lovely inside, based on the Pullman train. Our cocktails were delicious and service was brilliant. Breakfast was inside the Ritz restaurant which is an experience in itself. The room is so opulent and we enjoyed the silver service. The English breakfast was lovely, and there was a vegetarian sausage option. The croissants were very nice too. Throughout the Ritz the service is brilliant and everyone is very friendly (which we did expect but we were not disappointed). The Ritz is well located and just a few minutes from Bond Street for shopping, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It's very easy to walk the city from here. The only downside to the Ritz is that there are no guest facilities. Eg no gym or spa and no areas which are kept just for guests. I feel like this is a miss because guests want to feel different to people who are there for afternoon tea. All in all the Ritz met our expectations and we had a wonderful weekend. As a side note the Ritz is under a 4 year renovation however this did not disturb our weekend stay and we wouldn't have noticed.

Absolutely wonderful stay and meal. Stayed on the simply Sunday package, beyond any expectations we might have had. Lovely bottle of Champagne in the room upon arrival. We were in a Superior King Room ( No 112 ) which was wonderful apart from it overlooked Piccadilly and we were woken several times by emergency service’s sirens and loud motorbikes going past throughout the night. Maybe when booking ask for a room either not facing Piccadilly or perhaps a higher floor. The meal in the Ritz Restaurant was incredible and accompanied by a excellent bottle of wine. Will live long in the memory. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
