One of my favorite place in town! We come here pretty often
One of my favorite place in town! We come here pretty often since the opening and it's been always good for a night to spend a good time with some friends or just when we're craving yakitori. Food always good, consistent and perfectly cooked. We can see yakitori master is cooking in the open kitchen. Service is good all the time. There is no reason not to come again.
Be the first to ReplyWe stumbled upon Torisokoru Raku at 1 AM on a Saturday
We stumbled upon Torisokoru Raku at 1 AM on a Saturday while searching for late-night Japanese restaurants in Las Vegas. As a big fan of Raku, I was excited to try this new chicken-centric concept. While I was slightly disappointed by the lack of seafood (which I didn't realize beforehand), the chicken-focused menu had some standout dishes. The fried chicken cartilage was a highlight, with the inclusion of fried Brussels sprouts and cauliflower providing a delightful mix of flavors and textures. Unfortunately, the chicken miso soup fell flat for me, and I wouldn't order it again. The ground chicken and rice, as well as the foie gras and rice bowl, were also underwhelming. The foie gras, in particular, seemed to have veins and was overly saucy compared to the original location. On the upside, the brown sugar pudding was fantastic--super refreshing and a perfect end to the meal. The appetizer sampler was another great choice, allowing us to taste a bit of everything, with the cheese being a standout. The quail egg skewers were also impressive; the eggs were perfectly grilled and seasoned. Now that I know Torisokoru Raku is all about chicken, I'll definitely return to try the chicken and egg bowl. Despite a few misses, there were enough hits to make it worth another visit.
Be the first to ReplyToridokoro Raku is seriously my favorite restaurant in
Toridokoro Raku is seriously my favorite restaurant in Vegas. I go there all the time, especially when I have friends or family visiting! All the skewers are seasoned perfectly, no joke. Their tare is just perfect. The gizzard is the best I've ever had, and I've tried it at a bunch of places. I feel like everybody else overcooks it and here it's just perfect. It just pops in your mouth and has this amazing crunch. The heart is marinated so well, also -- perfectly sweet and juicy. The mochi at the end of the meal is to die for. It's savory, which is kind of surprising if you're expecting sweet mochi, but so perfect after all the skewers. And then there's the foie gras. I get it every single time. It's so creamy and rich, and the sauce with a little bit of rice is just heaven. The tail skewer is the juiciest thing ever. You bite into it and it's like an explosion of flavor. When I do a good job at work I ask my boyfriend to get me this The Raku tofu is a great / unique appetizer. You can't get anything like it anywhere else in Vegas. The tofu is so fresh and has this really delicate flavor. The green tea salt is great + def try all the other condiments! The restaurant itself is super cute. It's intimate and quiet, which is nice because you can actually have a conversation. It's also really fun to sit at the bar and watch everything get cooked. Everything looks meticulously prepared :) The prices are super reasonable for what you get, and the staff is always so sweet and friendly. Def go - esp if you love chicken skewers!!

The restaurant is a bit small, but it makes up for that with excellent food. House tofu was amazingly good. Service was superb.

Culinary Excellence! This hidden gem has limited seating, so arriving early or booking ahead is essential. The decor is stunning, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience with bar seating and table options. The chef's skill is evident in every dish, meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. Items I would TOTALLY order again are: 1. Sweet Potato - this was mindblowingly delicious... could be a substitute for dessert! 2. Duck Liver - texture and taste was like nothing I have ever experienced before. Wow! 3. Chicken Skin - perfectly crispy, don't miss out on this! 4. Chicken Tail- Crispy and Juicy, perfectly prepared. 5. Chicken Liver- moist, tasted so fresh... probably the best Chicken liver I've ever had... I still dream about this one. Yummyyyyyy. 6. Mushroom- prepared with the shroom juices ready for you to sip! With each bite, it's clear why a return visit is a must! Don't miss out.
Be the first to ReplyPlease be careful of the daily special menu.
It is very overpriced and unclear. One tiny ikura & uni rice bowl was $48. Supposedly it's from Hokkaido, it didn't taste like it's from Hokkaido, I've had way better uni and ikura before. Fresh oyster with uni was $21 each. The size of the oyster with shell was a little bit bigger than my thumb, the oyster meat was probably the size of my index finger...for $21 each??? Also be aware that this is a chicken restaurant, you won't find beef or pork, all the rice bowls and ramen are chicken. Skewers were good, I liked the sauce they use. Other than that I would not be back. I am aware of Japanese food prices, I am willing to pay for good food, this restaurant was just not it.

Terrible service ! The waitress wasn't pay attention about orders at the beginning and missed few orders. The coke took one hour to deliver on the table. We still eating she already rushing us to clean the table because another reservation coming soon. The service so bad and they overcharged the bill doesn't recommend. Only good one is the food.

We came here for dinner on Friday and ordered a bunch of skewers- gizzard, kidney, lung, skin, cartilage, heart, foie gras, foie gras w/ duck,, as well as the pumpkin, ramen, and foie gras don. All the skewers tasted sooooo good,, I really liked the lungs and kidneys since I've never tried that before. The foie gras was amazing!!! I wish I could eat 20 orders haha. Our server was very kind, and we'd definitely want to come back here to eat if we're ever in the area again.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the second time I was there for the Omakase.
We called ahead and booked a table for 6. Started with the phone call, the lady asked many many questions about our food allergies/ preference, and she did explained very well to set expectations. Even though half of our group arrived late, the waitresses were very accommodating and courteous. Out of the many courts we were served, I recommend these the most: The straw smoked chicken steak The foie gras skewer The closer clear broth noodle soup We were on a business trip so we didn't get to try the sake paring omakase. So that's what we are going to do next time around.
Be the first to ReplyWe love yakitori and was excited when I found this place.
Specialized in chicken, basically you can eat all parts of a chicken. My favorite was the Heart with Vavle and Tail. 3 stars is because every dish was more on the salty side. It would be great if they lessen the salt by 25%.
Be the first to ReplyWe had the omakase menu because we booked ahead of time
We had the omakase menu because we booked ahead of time (didn't get a choice) and I have to say I was blown away! The char on the skewers were right on and I definitely was walking out of there with a food coma. On the pricier side but it was delish. FYI- This was a smaller restaurant and we saw a couple parties of 2's and 4's try to walk in without success.

Be the first to ReplyAburiya Raku is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in
Aburiya Raku is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Vegas, so it's only natural that I tried their sister restaurant Toridokoro Raku. They specialize in all dishes related to chicken, so it'll be pretty difficult to find items for vegetarians, vegans or people who don't eat chicken. Items we had: Chicken paitan ramen - creamy chicken broth with al dente thin noodles. Comforting, rich broth and the flavors were on point but the portion was really small. Yakitori skewers - I had the neck meat, cartilage, Tsukune meat ball with raw egg. The meatball was my favorite (mainly because of the raw egg) but felt that the skewers were expensive for what they were. Soboro bowl - ground chicken rice bowl with mustard greens, shiso, seaweed and raw egg. My favorite dish on their menu. Each spice and ingredient is intentional and creates a harmoniously flavorful rice bowl. Portion is not huge but surprisingly filling! Sake steamed clams - light sake broth with clams. Flavorful clam broth comes boiling hot in a pot. The clams were overpriced at $25. Overall the food quality was great, but it was hard to justify the price for what you get. If you want authentic Japanese Yakitori that's not overly crowded and has a peaceful ambience, this is a good spot. But I recommend Izakaya Go instead for solid Yakitori that doesn't break your bank.
Be the first to ReplyMy partner and I had a craving for Japanese food and he -
My partner and I had a craving for Japanese food and he - having been here before - recommended Toridokoro Raku on Flamingo Road. We sat at the counter and ordered a bunch of smaller dishes to be shared - Japanese version of tapa or dim sum style. My partner did the ordering so honestly, I have no idea what was what - but I know that everything was delicious. Sitting at the counter opposite the chef, we we able to watch as everything was being prepared - which was very interesting. On my portion of the bill it shows we ordered soboro don ($9), clear ramen ($9), dakimi ($5), mushroom ($3) and kokuto pudding for dessert ($5). Unfortunately I cannot tell you what else we shared because the other items were on his portion of the bill (he was on an expense account so we had to split the check), but it was a lot of smaller dishes (as seen in the attached photos) all well prepared and very tasty. If you go - be brave and try something new that you have never tried before - you can't go wrong here. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyGreat value for yakitori omakase.
I was able to call in for day of late dinner reservation. I liked the variety of flavors and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a quaint, smaller restaurant with a chill ambiance.
Be the first to ReplyThe best Japanese grill we have had.
The taste is amazing. The chief cooked with a lot of care in front of us. He is young but so good. Device is nice too. Definitely recommended. Shall try the ground chicken and the mushroom! The tofu is also nice.
Be the first to ReplyWe made a reservation for the main Raku and accidentally
We made a reservation for the main Raku and accidentally went into this chicken-only sister restaurant. They were very nice about it and offered us the option to either go over there (and they would honor the reservation) or stay. We chose to stay and they called Raku for us. The skewers here are just unparalleled. It transports me to Japan. We got lucky with a table but I would recommend having a reservation since the restaurant is pretty small. Favorites are the gizzards, kidneys, and hearts. The fried cartilage is amazing as well. Portions are small. This is not a restaurant that will fill you up if you're not ready to spend $$.

This was my second visit here, and it was just as good as the first. I called during their opening hours to make a reservation the week of, and it was easy to get. It's a small restaurant so I def recommend making rezzies. All I need to say is that, if it's anything that has chicken in it, get it! Seriously, I'm not crazy about chicken, but at this restaurant, that's all I want. My fave dishes are Karaage (this is done in such a unique way, it's crispy, juicy chunks of chicken, and super tasty), Paitan Ramen (the broth on this is white, thick and creamy - and the noodles are a plus), Skin (served yakitori/on the stick style, and if you're into chicken skin, get this!), and lastly, Raku's Tofu ( if you're a tofu lover, this homemade tofu that has no chicken in it, is a must - so simple but the taste of pure tofu is amazing). Parking is easy and plenty, located in a big plaza with other restaurants, and the service here is what you expect at an authentic Japanese restaurant - 100% great service!
Be the first to ReplyYakitori does not get better than this.
I sat at the bar and watched the chef carefully, meticulously cook a simple onigiri. Huge attention to detail on every item they cook, and always beautiful presentation. The foie gras donburi is absolutely worth the price.

Was definitely an experience, that I'd do again! Everything we ordered was mouthwatering and we ordered them twice. The prices are reasonable for tapas style dining. Highly recommend the foie gras. The juicy fried chicken was beautifully presented as a roll. The restaurant was tiny but it was able to accommodate our party of 6 on this Saturday evening. There is a small bar available.Attentive customer service and parking was not a problem.

This is the closest thing to Tokyo for izakaya and it was outstanding. I had the omakasa and was not disappointed. Everything is cooked in front of you on the grill and it is expertly cooked. I can't wait to come back!
Be the first to ReplyQuality of the food is amazing, the RSVP process and
Quality of the food is amazing, the RSVP process and service needs to be improved. I called and made an RSVP for Friday night, it was my sisters birthday so I know I did not get the date wrong. We showed up, gifts in hand and was told they do not have our RSVP. It was very awkward for the 3 of us to stand at the door, holding gifts while the lady walk back and forth trying to find our RSVP. She asked "Which number did you call?" And I showed her that I called the correct number. Then she asked "Did you talk to someone?" ... What? Of course I spoke to someone, why would I assumed that I have an RSVP if I didn't? Then she pointed to a table and said "Ok, you can sit here!" Wow what a way to greet your customers. Keep in mind only the bar area was full at this point, their other 4-5 tables were all empty and throughout our meal only 2 other tables came in, so I really don't understand why she acted like they do not have a table for us. We all did the omakase and really liked our meal. We definitely got to try a lot of different dishes (12 total) and most of them were very delicious. The quality is definitely top notch. The chicken stew was our least favorite because the taste was ok and it was so salty. The ramen was also ok, nothing special. The skewers and everything else was delicious. We did feel they were rushing us out. We barely finish with one dish before they start cleaning the table and brining out the next dish. My brother and I were paying, so I had put my card down and he was pulling his card out of his wallet then the waitress came and grabbed the checkbook, we had to ask her to give us a few seconds. Again, only the bar area was full and they have 1 other table besides us so I really don't understand her rushing especially since we are almost done with the meal. The whole RSVP mix-up and feeling of being rushed really ruined the dinner for us. It's a pricier place for dinner and I definitely think service could have been better. It could have just been a small mix up with RSVP but the way the waitress handled everything really annoyed me. Definitely recommend trying the food, no complaints there. Just make sure to double check your RSVP.

Best yakitori in town or even better than any others in Southern California in my opinion. Service was great and the ambiance was there too. I would highly recommend this place. Good sake selection.
