Bad experience
Very disappointed experience!!!only the good thing is the view!!! The food was just ok, very ordinary food, dessert was already made, the staff was just there for cleaning and the men toilet, horrible!!! Personally I don’t recommend this place!

In a land of incredible food, this stood out for its mediocracy and dullness. The seafood was boiled or cooked to within an inch of paper pulp, and while some of the salads and buffet items were tasty, this was just overall not worth it. Two buffet and no adult drinks was $210.00 Australian dollar, not outrageous for dinner but no deal either.
Be the first to ReplyA restaurant with a beautiful view
If you are in Sydney, this nice restaurant is definitely recommended, You have a beautiful view of Sydney and you turn around very slowly, which takes some getting used to because you have to get your own food as much as you want. Only drinks were brought. The staff was very friendly.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous dinner and view
The attention and quality of the food and drinks was spectacular. High-end Australian wines. Not to mention the spectacular panoramic view of the city that you have from there. It is a place that cannot be missed on a visit to Sydney.

Excellent experience, dining on this tower, even if the view of the city from above overshadows what is proposed. However, it is absolutely worth it, moreover you can find everything at the buffet set up, from raw seafood to meats, pastas and anything else you might want, of course you have to deal with those who flock like locusts to the best products, i.e. raw seafood, as soon as they settle down at the assigned tables, but with a little patience you can find everything because obviously what runs out is replaced. With a small surcharge we took the table at the window and we got it right as well as receiving a drink included including two good cocktails and in any case we managed to get an unobstructed view of what was passing below us during the rotation of the tower which at dusk he made us fully enjoy the experience seeing the city illuminated both in the light, during sunset and in the dark. The service is obviously limited to the drinks included in our case and in any case it remains a nice experience especially due to the particularity of the place. Definitely recommended.
Be the first to ReplyGreat views!
The views were amazing. I would definitely go an hour before sunset. This way most of your photos are perfect. Once it gets dark the reflection from the lights in the restaurant reflect off the glass. This way you will see both day/night. The food is ok. I was expecting a quiet dinner and we had families on both sides of us. We had a table by the window!

Incredible views. We enjoyed the food too. Big variety of different cuisines. Not convinced that the experience is good value for money, but it certainly is a memorable one!

In the best city in the world we experienced one of the best degustation treats you'll ever get. The restaurant is modern chic set in a tropical backdrop of the outstanding Botanic Gardens. Of course, Sydney Harbour glistens whilst amazing birdsong entertains. Everything is done...Luke's menu sensibly flows from Snacks to Entree to Main and Dessert. Each step leaves the taste buds yearning for more. Our favourites were the Canadian Scallops, Asian tuna tartare and roasted duck; beautifully accompanied by the Chain o Ponds Rose. With wonderful and courteous staff, our experience was faultless! Will be doing this again, for sure.
Be the first to ReplyThe worst dining/celebration experience
My guests and I were extremely disappointed in our experience last night. I booked for a party of 18 guests (including young children) and was seated at 5 different tables . I also made a note in the booking to say that we were celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday and nobody got back to me to let me know that we would not be permitted to light the candles on her cake nor that there were no tables to seat us together. The quality and variety of food was below standard especially for $125/person and nobody said at our arrival that we had 1 hour to eat only to be told ‘you have 5 minutes to leave’ so those of us who still haven’t had desert ended up leaving without. This was the biggest wasted opportunity to mark my daughter’s special day which we could have gone elsewhere to celebrate if we were informed at the time of booking that ‘there were no more long tables left and we will have to be split up all over the place’ and that ‘it’s the premises policy no lighting candles’. We were unable to celebrate this special occasion as we were seated away from each other and nobody could communicate with one another, my daughter was sad that she couldn’t make her birthday wish as she blew out the candles, we wasted a huge amount of money while our guests were left unsatisfied and talking about how bad the evening was in every respect! We would never ever go to this restaurant again in the future!
Be the first to ReplyNice, but expected more
My Skyfeast experience was pretty average. The revolving tower experience was nice as we got to see the night view of Sydney from there (our time was after 5:00 pm). It was a shame we could not take many pictures because the glass was reflective and the lighting was quite dim. Our server was very nice and polite and helped us get comfortable and show us how we can know which table is ours, since the floors keep revolving so you can get lost a bit. The only thing I found a bit lacking was the buffet. Granted, they had a variety of cuisines, but I expected more. The food was also not steaming hot as I would have liked them to be. Our duration was 1.5 hrs but we got bored after 45 minutes. Also, it takes a while to get to the Sydney tower from the entrance of Westfield mall since it is huge and can be quite confusing. So I suggest you should head out earlier so you can find the place in time. I would recommend choosing the sky feast for lunch rather than dinner, as there would be more light during the day and the view would be more spectacular than the night view (which was mainly a lot of tall buildings with lights on every window).
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the price
The view and service was lovely but the food is quiet expensive and not very tasty. I didn’t feel the experience and price match
Be the first to ReplyPretentious and overrated!
I found the whole experience from entry very pretentious… it was like going through the bag scanner at the airport…. The food was below average… they charge $10 for a bottle of tap water and don’t tell you until the bill arrives…. We waited 30 minutes until we our drink order was taken… the view was worth 5stars however it’s about the Resturant and it defiantly was only worth 2 stars!

Had the 5-course degustation Signature experience. Every course was very edible, the cost at $165 plus drinks is a little on the high side but you are also paying for some spectacular views. Had dinner at the venue so viewed Sydney in the late evening and at night, which is a good experience.
Paying $10 for a bottle of still water was a little annoying as this cost was not explained and just appeared on the bill at the end of the night.
The waiters do though need to lift their game, service was erratic. It took ages for them to come to take our drinks order, we had received the first course before they did. They also placed our bottle of wine so far away from the table that they seemed to forget we had a bottle of wine and we had to keep requesting for our glasses to be topped up.
The main table waiter also had a weird habit of saying sorry whenever he came to the table to serve or clear a plate, not sure what he was constantly apologizing for. What was quaint the first couple of times became annoying by the end of the night.
A good venue with spectacular views but you will be paying a significant cost for these. If it's the food you're going for then Sydney has many other restaurants with better food for a similar cost.

Be the first to ReplyHighpoints - Venue, Menu Lowpoint - Abrupt rushed service
We celebrated a birthday at the Infinity last night. It hit all the right notes a venue like this can offer. The view and the revolving restaurant are a unique offering for every city that offers this and having enjoyed a few, the Infinity certainly has the right intimate ambience and a view to match.
We opted for the 3 course menu and were impressed by the crisp quail and tender wagyu in our entree. The lamb rump in the main course was well recieved, though we felt the murray cod could have built on the flavours. The chocolate dessert was a hit with the chocolate lovers amongst us. The banana miso was interesting but perhaps needed a bit more of it to balance out the berry and other textures on the plate. Our chosen wines didn't add much to raise the bar. But here is the thing. We really didn't get a minute nor were we asked to choose our drinks from the minute we arrived. Our host, a mature gentleman who looks like he should have this experience was terse, rushed and simply couldn't be bothered to actually serve us. We asked to order our drinks as our entree was being served. There was no announcing of the courses as they came in. The host abruptly interrupted as we we were taking a family pic to clear the course plates. It just lacked finesse or tact - simple pleasures a diner would expect from a restaurant that also has a prominent degustation menu. Very glad we opted not to go for the degustation as we had our young kids - the lackadaisical service would have been a worse sorepoint then.
But in this instance our feedback would be for the service to be tweaked to match the excellent menu being offered.
A must-do experience!
We were a party of four celebrating my son's 21st birthday and chose the Platinum dining experience (6 course degustation) with paired wines.
At almost $300 per head, expectations were high and we weren't disappointed.
The view is stunning and it was amazing to see Sydney full of lights! Loved the slow revolution with the ability to really take in all of the city and surrounds. Whilst we enjoyed window seating, we agreed that the views would still be amazing from the booths.
The food overall was very good - there were certainly some standouts. The amuse-bouche of yellow fin tuna, the seared scallops, quail and wagyu beef were all incredible and were the highlights. The accompanying wines were of a high quality and good value if you're a wine drinker.
The only feedback we would like to give is that there wasn't much communication going on between delivery of each course and our waiter. Hence on 3 or 4 occasions, the next course was delivered with no sign of the accompanying wine in sight, which we then had to ask after. This is quite a crucial element to a degustation with paired wines working very well, or not so well. Consequently it all felt a bit rushed and forced, whereas we were quite happy to have each course and wine explained to us. If the service was a bit more co-ordinated, my rating would be a 5.
We will be back - we're looking forward to lunch next time and experiencing the stunning views during the daylight!
A Pleasant Surprise
My family of three attended today for Mother's Day. Always a little suspicious or restaurants seemingly aimed at tourists (that is, any place which revolves), and aware of not great reviews from when the venue was under different management, I approached with caution.
So, I was surprised and delighted when this place turned out to be really good.
A three course menu - with three or four options available for each course - was fine value at $135 a head, given that bread, side dishes, and petit fours were included.
More importantly, the food was of a surprisingly high standard for such an establishment: fairly traditional but with considerable flair, and very well executed.
Service was terrific - although drink service suffers slightly from coming from different stations around the restaurant, so don't expect spirits and wine to arrive at your table at the same time.
Also, charing an additional $15 a head to ensure a window seat is a bit rough. However, we happily saved that cash and sat in a comfortable booth at the higher level, which still provided a nice view.
All in all, I'm happy to recommend Infinity 2021 without any major hesitations, and I look forward to returning soon.
Lovely... but
There were some standout dishes from the degustation menu - the amuse bouche of salmon, the oysters, salmon sashimi, the lamb. The wagyu beef (for which you pay an extra $20) was tough and came with a rather slimy mushroom - we wished we had not ordered that! The pandang custard was a big disappointment - the butter milk sorbet had a rather unpleasant sour-milk taste to it, and there just was not enough pandang custard. The charcoal meingue was great - but not enough! The service was patchy - pleasant wait staff but a bit intermittent. Then we waited and waited for the bill. The view is fabulous of course, but the food cannot make up for that if some parts of the menu are indifferent.
