A restaurant you absolutely must try for an experience of good food and wine served by Lucia who, with the story of the dishes and the wine, makes you fall in love with their idea of cuisine! Superlative welcome! Congratulations to Valerio the chef who, with his idea of cooking, offers dishes with an identity!! To return!!!

What a completely adventurous experience from sea over land to forest. Something you all should try. Never needed extra salt or pepper, the best menu I have ever tasted, what a complete wine menu that went fabulously with the food, the best service ever - complete experiences for 6 stars.

Special culinary experience: 15 sea and land courses created and explained like a walk on the sea. The chef's idea is an Italian-style cuisine that however brings Danish flavours. The service is absolutely impeccable, Lucia and chef Valerio are exquisite people, with an infinite love for their work which they bring back daily to their intimate restaurant.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tèrra. The menu was beautifully thought out and presented. There were items we had never tried before and everything was so delicious. The wine pairings were the perfect accompaniment. We highly recommend Tèrra!

It was my second time here and I only can recommend. Tèrra is a place to celebrate special events and to enjoy amazing food. I loved each single dish, the variation of flavours, how they were explained and how they connect to each other. I will come back to Tèrra!

Our evening was very special. You could tell that all of the ingredient, the plates, and the wine/juice pairing was intentional. We tried a juice pairing with the set menu, which was incredible. Just as complex as a glass of wine and complimented every dish perfectly. We would love to come back and have another experience.

We went to Térra yesterday and it was a terrific experience. 10 courses in an increasing intensity, from light to heavy with a sweet end. The presentation of each course was precise and engaging, and service overall was professional yet personal. They were able to accommodate our vegan preferences as well as our friends pescatarian diet.

A hidden gem with a green Michelin star. The menu was great, and the kitchen had gone to great lengths to accommodate the menu (both food and drinks) to a pregnancy-friendly diet, without changing the entire experience and without me feeling like I've missed out on anything. The non-alcoholic paring was much more than a juice-menu, well-paired and not overly sweet, as they tend to be. My partner (who had the not-modified menu) was as excited about the dishes and wines he got. It was too hard to decide which courses were best, as every dish was surprising and well rounded. The service was perfect, it felt like they adjusted the level of information about the wines and dishes, according to the table (as I tend to forget if they tell me all the processes in the kitchen anyway, but heard long passionate discussions about wining methods at the neighboring table). The two owners, Valerio and Lucia, are the head chef and head waiter in the restaurant, at is shows that they poor a lot of love in both food, wine and service, and they both came to greet us as we were leaving the restaurant in the in of a wonderful evening. The interior and waiters uniforms were kept in earthy colors and there are quite few tables, which adds to the intimacy of the experience. I've been to both Amass and Ark (who both have green Michelin stars too) during the past year, and Térra is the best experience of the three, both in regards to foods and atmosphere. Highly recommendable to any food-lovers!

A fantastic restaurant! Terra's philosophy is: no food waste - but there is much more behind the concept. It is a true culinary journey through the north, extremely coherent, puristic, versatile and surprising with every course. The restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star, but that's incomprehensible considering the standard. It would be deserved in any case. The wine accompaniment is refined and appropriate, and the non-alcoholic option is also a lot of fun. Thank you for a perfect evening!

We just dropped in from the street, not knowing what to expect from the rather downplayed exterior. It turned out to be a fantastic experience. It is evident that huge effort has been put into each part of the 12 course dinner and wines, and we enjoyed each bite of it. The passion, the vision of zero food waste and the commitment towards the total food experience was far beyond expectation. Wines matched the food perfectly, mild but still rich in taste, enhancing the food. This is not a cheap restaurant, but the experience was worth every cent.

Tèrra was the choice to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Not as a restaurant. But as an experience of the senses. We did accept from the beginning the concept of this unusual place and chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. And then the magic happens: The chef prepares his stories of small servings where glimpses of techniques and traditions from many countries appeared in the dishes served in front of us. We listened carefully to what was told about each dish and then we “relived” the story while tasting it. Ingredients carefully selected. Daring preparation techniques. An unusual combination of tastes and textures that lasted days after the dinner…. The plethora of taste surprises was challenging to the brain, and several times during the dinner, we had to ask ourselves: What is this wonderful taste? A fresh leaf with a tempura fried monkfish liver inside – surprise, tasted like the antique Roman “garum”, elegant and rich. Risotto with Ramsons – al dente Italian style but with the Nordic twist. Calamari served with the texture of lard with small salted lemon zests. Halibut gently “aged” in salt fried hard on the skin side to leave a crisp skin and a wonderfully and (not salty!) cooked fish meat texture. Raw fish and fish eggs with local seaweed and unusual dashi. The use of salt is being pushed to the limit – a dish with salted capers that exploded with taste and salt. A sweet dessert with cucumbers…. The brain was constantly stimulated to identify Italian & International techniques blended nicely with Nordic raw materials. In parallel with the food experience, a completely different but intertwined experience unfolded: A divine wine paring with selected wines to go with each of the unusual dishes. The elegant hostess had a profound understanding of wine and knew important and relevant details of even rare wines from around the world. Her selection of wines and her explanation of how the different wines would work with the dishes were spot on and correct. The choice of an orange wine in the middle of the meal was courageous – this specific wine from lava soil in Sicily and this specific vintage which made the wine slightly oxidated – would have resulted in the client returning it in a normal situation. Not this time! The slight marsala taste with mineral aftertaste was described as an introduction and we were to expect it to blend well with the dish – not alone. And it did. A wine like this is nearly impossible to pair with food. Bold but exact. Every single wine chosen by the hostess worked really well with the dishes and lifted the experience to another level. Our expectation was not to dine in a typical Italian restaurant: In fact, after this experience the three of us concluded that this was not a restaurant – this was 3.5-hour pure poetry with stimulation of all our senses in a professional and calm environment. A place where Italy meets Nordic and where a new type of poetry is being told.

We went there to celebrate my brother and his girlfriend's birthday as they are visiting us. The Terra team placed a Danish flag and prepared a small birthday cake so they can blow the candle and make their wish. It was super nice that they had prepared that for us! Moreover, the whole evening was just spectacular! The food accompanied with interesting explanation, was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was very attentive to clean the table in between courses and ensure our wine glasses were not empty. We are definitely rating them 5 stars! And would highly recommend Terra!

From the entry through the front door, till we left again we were amazed by this restaurant, the food, the wine and the staff.
I was personally afraid that the zero waste concept would mean compromises in form of the food, but I could not have been more wrong. The food was above comprehension as well as really interesting when you thought about everything that had gone into it.
We decided to go for the wine pairing as well, and that really added to the experience. I would not hesitate to do that again, and I am sure that I don't fully appreciate wine the same way many others did.
That of course led to questions from me about how they went about wine pairing and the staff and owner were at all times very very nice and courteous.
I have already recommended this to everyone in my immediate circle and I am sure you, future guest, will be absolutely delighted you decided to go.
Underrated but absolutely one of the best tasting menus out there! Bursting with umami, the dishes are perfect!
A zero waste concept- the dishes employ a variety of unconventional ingredients. Innovative, quality, the BEST wine.

Fabulous food, wine and service
The small dishes were all exuisite. The braised leek dish is to die for!
Normally we do not favour natural ones, but the pairing at Terra was so well matched and the wines all excellent, that we need to change our mind on that one. One of the best wine menus we ever had.
Then combining that with great service made our evening one of the best dining experiences in a long time
Wonderful evening, exceptional food
Having eaten at a few of Copenhagen's wonderful restaurants, Terra stood out for us for its wonderful mix of excellent and warm service, exceptional food and romantic ambience. My husband and I had seven amazing courses with every single one being both exciting and cooked to perfection. I couldn't even pick any one out in particular as literally every single course was delightful. Even my husband's allergy to raw celeriac was taken into account and a wonderful beetroot dish was created instead.
The wine pairing was just right and complemented the high quality food. We had an unforgettable evening and can't wait to return - a huge compliment in a city that has so many amazing restaurants to choose between. For a romantic evening that ticks all the boxes for real food (and wine!) lovers, look no further.
If there was one (minor!) improvement we would recommend, it would be to make the portions slightly larger or, even better, add an eighth course into the mix.
