Knowledgeable staff but POCs be cautioned
The wine, food, and atmosphere is awesome here. But, as a person of color, I was repeatedly disappointed with how long it took for me to be served. Literally, white person after white person was served while I waited. I have not experienced this in any other Icelandic bar/ restaurant, so I have to assume it was just the staff on the night that I was here. But, my recommendation if you come here, AND if you’re a POC, bring a white friend to do the ordering.

The tindur cheese and red wine were both excellent. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the wine and provided samples to help you decide. There is no wine menu as the selections frequently change.
The only downside is that the staff was cold and didn’t make guests feel welcome.
Small excellent dishes and beautifully paired wines
Their choice of wine is excellent, recommend some obscure biological or nature wine. We went there for a light supper and got exquisite small dishes, each to top one another. The grilled Padronas peppers, the broccoli with salted lemons, the Haloumi with parsley and pine nuts and the 18 mo old Tindur cheesewith butter and hazelnuts... All to die for. To drink we had a glass og organic frizzante, pinot noir from California and Rioja by the traditional old way. Excellent dining, very professional and highly recommended

Tiu sopar (10 sips) is a Wine bar with variety of natural wines and several small dishes.
We specially like the cheese dishes the Tindur and the goat cheese. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly and offers a small taste of wine for you to select your favorites. The the restaurant is basement and the local is small but the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.
Enjoyable wine tasting experience
We visited early on a weekday and the place was quiet and cozy. Knowledgeable server asked about our wine preferences and made recommendations from the 5 whites and 6 reds they were pouring at the time. Allowed small tastes of several to be certain we were happy with our selections. Also enjoyed the tindur cheese and hummus/sourdough appetizers. Stopped at several places near the top of the tripadvisor list for Rejkyvik wine bars and this was our favorite.

Recommend this place for nice natural wines and good vibes.
Try the cheese Tindur you can go on a Tindur date its way better than a Tinder date.
Also the staff is nice and they have tried all the wines and can help you finding the perfect wine. If your friend or spouse doesn't drink wine they also have some local beers.
Danish “hygge” in center of Reykjavík
Cozy atmosphere that reminded me of plenty of places I've visited in Copenhagen. It has that Vesterbro feeling. I was there with a group of friends and we had a lovely time. My friends had quality natural wines and the waiters were very knowledgeable and helpful and found the right wine for each person. I had the Combucha and it tasted great, Icelandic production.
Also, their olives are my new favorite snack ! I will come back for the olives!
Natural wines and small plates to share
We were greeted by a very knowledgable waiter who took the time to ask about our tastes in wine, we sampled a few, all delicious, but decided on a bottle of natural wine from Catalonia. We shared a few dishes, we enjoyed all but our favourites were a local cheese with noisette and cured cod with fennel.

We came here two nights running thanks to the lovely selection of wine and food. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had some fab Icelandic cheese with truffle. The bar is a little hard to spot being in a basement. Don’t let this put you off. It’s a real gem.
