Stopped in for quick dinner with a friend.
The atmosphere was nice and the place was huge to accommodate any size party. Waitress acted like she didn't want to be at work and was rude most of the time. Service was slow. Food was good and drinks were good. Old fashioned cocktail was 7/10. Pork chop was 7/10 as well.

This place is one of a kind! if you're a whiskey lover who loves to try exclusive whiskey with an experience, this is your new home. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it. The food is delicious and the flavors are so fresh. Everything we had we made to perfection. I appreciate chefs that take pride in their cooking and you can 100% taste the care and can see the attention to details. Ambience is calm and relaxing. Service was great as well!
Be the first to ReplyI went here for lunch with a couple friends.
I love the outdoor seating that they had available. You could definitely bring your dog and I may do that when I go back for another visit. The food and drinks were great. Our server was friendly, but the service seemed a little slow. They were pretty busy so that might be why. Overall we had a great experience and loved the downtown location.

Excellent tasting food (lamb burger, shrimp & grits, green salad). Old fashioned was strong; Red rider was weak. Friendly service. Very noisy initially. Reasonable prices. Large portions.

We were in town for Dreamville and wanted to grab lunch before we headed to a day party and Whiskey Kitchen was in walking distance from our hotel. We promptly greeted and seated and our server was at our table swiftly to welcome us and to offer us water as we looked over the menu. We opted for a couple of their Daily Lunch Specials and couldn't pass up trying the cracklin' biscuits since it was something we've never heard of or eaten. My BFF who literally hasn't eaten pork in yeeeaaarrrrssss couldn't pass up trying them when they hit the table because they look absolutely irresistible and the taste ... 10 out of 10! I would come back to Raleigh just for those biscuits! I had the steak sandwich for my entree which was flank steak with chimichurri on a toasted freshly baked roll and a side of collards ... both were AMAZINGLY flavorful and hit the spot on everything you'd want in a sandwich. I also tried some of my friend's potato salad and it was slamming as well! We cannot say one single negative thing about Whiskey Kitchen and recommend it should you be in Downtown Raleigh.

Our server offered great whisky recommendations as well.
Be the first to ReplyCedric is the waiter to ask for.
He is super attentive, got everything correct and was very reactive to our inquiries. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was top notch. Highly recommend this establishment.
Be the first to ReplyReally liked WK.
open and airy, hip/cool place. Food was well above the norm. Wait staff was hustling. Def would go back.
Be the first to ReplySo-apparently in Raleigh, you can buy a drink to go.
It's called Sip n' Stroll Downtown. Interesting. Of course, we had to partake. I got a dark lager from Burial Beer Co. called Dusk. Nice! My sister got a NEIPA called Feelin' Freaky Deaf from Wise Man Brewing, which she loved! The others got cocktails and we were on our way. Nice way to spend a Sunday morning.
Be the first to ReplyStopped here last night after dinner at Death & Taxes.
Wanted a cocktail to finish our "Date Night" (yes, after 27+ years we still do Date Night!) and were pleased to find a good couple bar seats. I went with a Heaven's Door on a large rock and The Mrs chose a Classic Manhattan. The coup do grace was a slice of their Shoo-Fly Pie! More Pecan Pie than plain Shoo Fly but when drizzled with caramel it was Astounding! I always compare Shoo Fly and Pecan Pies with those my Grandma's made. One from the North where molasses rule and one from the Deep South and home of the Pecan. Pie was great! Stop soon while Still on the menu!

Thank you so much for accommodating our group on February 22nd for dinner. Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Chacie (I believe was her name) did a fantastic job serving our group of 18. The other staff we interacted with were also very polite. Kudos to your team!
