Wicked Spoon Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
I get I am in Vegas.
But some things can really be an upsale in price. And a breakfast buffet even in Vegas should cost me $50. The end result most aren't eating $50 for breakfast for one person.
Good enough
I had some time to kill before my flight, so I decide to try this brunch buffet. Overall a decent Vegas buffet. The carved meat station was very good and so was the cold seafood. The gyros were also great. The asian and Mexican sections were just ok. Overall one of the better buffets in Vegas.
Good buffet at Cosmopolitan
Great buffet with good selections of food. We liked the Asian selection, especially the salt and pepper shrimp. It also had crag legs for brunch.
The quality is not as good as in the past.
However, their deserts are still the best I ever had in Vegas!
Pretty decent selection and quality.
Worth a try. Buffets are what they are. Don't expect the super top tier.

We tried our luck on a Saturday morning at 11am with no reservation. Waited in a long winding line that moved rather quickly. Got seated in about 20 minutes. I was worried the 90 minute time limit would rush us but it was the perfect amount of time. My focus was the seafood and there was plenty ! Mounds and mounds of snow crab legs! Yumm !! Sushi was average but there were some ahi tuna at the salad bar that was very good. Delish salmon prepared several ways. Clam and mussels were delish as well as steamed shrimp shumai. I didn't try the shell on shrimp but it was plentiful. Ended my meal at their epic dessert station with at least 10 flavors of gelato, tiramisu, cheesecakes, apple cobbler, chocolate lava cakes and so much more. I loved how they portioned them all out into small serving sizes. I highly recommend this buffet and would definitely come again !!
I thought this place was pretty solid.
Lots of variety. I really enjoyed the few dim sum selections with the barbeque pork and shrimp. Crab legs were good. Everything was a winner. Price for two was $101 plus don't forget to add the tip. I enjoyed it but I think the Wynn and Caesar's are much better but they are more expensive. First time here, may go back again. I will say it was very crowded around noon on a Saturday.
Honestly probably rate it 2.
5 The food left out was cold the vegetables were overcooked cooked some of the gelatos taste artificial the on the other hand the chicken was crispy and juicy to eat.
Was best in Vegas, now just OK
Visited Wicked Spoon on 1/15/24 for breakfast.Have been several times, one of my favorites in Las Vegas. Overall quality has gone downhill over the last 15 years, and it is a shame. This visit started off well- staff were friendly, food looked good and than little things happened which me feeling that the Wicked Spoon had become just “average”. The waiter disappeared for 20 minutes and no one looked after our table. Get it that folks may take breaks in the middle of service but usually someone makes sure your table is covered. That person/ manager was missing. Everyone being friendly makes up for a lot of small problems and everyone was friendly except the little guy at the Eggs Benedict station, and it only takes one rude staff member to ruin a customers experience. The Eggs Benedict were hard, had been out for a while and over poached. I asked for a softer egg and the guy yells back at the cook, “ he says the eggs are hard” as if it was an opinion vs a reality and then made a remark to me. I was a little shocked as everyone else was nice and welcoming. A buffet will run out of items from time to time as they want fresh food on the line however, they were out of scrambled eggs, shrimp and grits and boiled shrimp all at the same time. There was no chef checking for customer service or food quality and presentation. Desserts look great but are dry- carrot cake. Overall, very average. It’s a shame because several years ago they were great!! Best buffet in Vegas and now there is lack of chef and manager attention, so naturally it has regressed to just average.
This is flavorful cuisine.
The jersey Mac and cheese, the Korean food items and dessert all very good. Smaller buffet but also less than half of Bacchannal or Wynn but better tasting.

A very average brunch buffet, with some good but other items that were subpar and inedible. The basics: there is an omelette station, carving station, salad, Asian, dessert, and international food area. The carving station was the biggest letdown, my tri tip was very well done, and I'd need a machete to cut through it. Higher end items such as the beef carpaccio and ahi tuna are portioned on small plates, quality was acceptable, but the rest of the buffet was basic. Sort of had a breakfast buffet vibe, one might expect at any hotel in the country. I wish they stalked the buffet with more interesting and fresher options. At $50+ a person, one can expect the quality and selection of a $30 dollar buffet. There is a 90 minute time limit, service was surprisingly good, and there is probably something for everyone in your party. For an average filling meal, this may be your spot, but nothing notable or noteworthy. Forgettable food, ambiance, and selection.

The Cosmopolitan hotel asked me to reach out to further discuss issue, emailed them and 11 months later still no reply from them via email. What a joke!
Wicked Spoon is located within the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
It has a roomy and inviting atmosphere, making for an exceptional brunch experience. You will need to make a reservation before you go. I believe depending on the amount of people and time, you will need to deposit before you go. We went with around 8 people at 11:00 in the morning. It was an amazing experience and filling, almost couldn't eat dessert. This restaurant has a spacious layout that immediately sets Wicked Spoon apart, offering ample room for guests to dine comfortably. The buffet-style brunch was a true delight, featuring an array of delectable options, including tender meats and an impressive assortment of dishes that catered to every palate. The inclusion of crab was a particularly welcomed addition, adding a touch of luxury to the dining experience. My favorite was the make-your-own-omelet station and dessert station, a great addition that made me want to go back for more. What truly stood out was the exemplary service provided by the staff. From arrival, they were incredibly nice and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They patiently explained the offerings and assisted those who were confused, further enhancing the overall ambiance of hospitality. Whether you're a brunch enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Wicked Spoon will leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended!

We went to Wicked Spoon for our wedding dinner in 2018, and the food was FANTASTIC. We've been wanting to go back, and unfortunately we didn't get an opportunity to go when we went to Vegas in 2019. However, since covid, they no longer serve dinner, only brunch, which is a shame, because their dinner buffet is, to this day, the best buffet I have ever been to. On our trip to Vegas in 2023, we went for brunch, and while pricey ($54US per person plus $25US per person for a drinks package, so essentially $79US a person, plus tip and tax), at least the quality of the food was still EXCELLENT. The drinks package included bottomless mimosas and champagne, and I made sure I got my money's worth! At first I started with mimosas, then I switched to champagne. I was pretty tipsy when done, and it didn't help that the server left the bottle of champagne at our table, so I had to finish it! Wicked Spoon is still an AMAZING buffet, and I highly recommend it if you want to treat yourself. However, I'm removing one star because they no longer serve dinner, although the quality is still five stars. [Yelp collections: Vegas/Utah 2023; Vegas 2023]
Disappointing
This restaurant is only open until 4 o’clock. We showed up at 3:15 and they were already taking things down. When you pay $65 for a meal you would expect to get $65 worth of selections. That was not the case. You could tell some of the food has been out for a while. My suggestion would be, if you go, go earlier don’t wait until the 3 o’clock hour.
Would Recommend If You Don't Have to Wait in Line
We were there around 10:00 am so there was no line up. If there was a 1-2 line up, I don't think I would bother. Overall, it is a decent buffet. Has unlimited snow crab legs that seemed to be replenished pretty often. Good variety of food. I like the meat station, the bone marrow, the crepe station the best. Fried chicken was good as well. I agree that they are probably understaffed leading to inattentive service but the quality of the food is quite good and the actual surroundings is upscale.
December 29 review of Wicked Spoon Buffet
We were anticipating the hour and half we waited from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm to be worth the wait. It was not. Selection was poor with many items not refilled. Crab legs were cooked poorly and we couldn’t get crab meat out of the shell. Salt and pepper shrimp also overcooked making it very hard to peel the shrimp. Meat station was ok. Nothing was spectacular and truthfully nothing even qualified as good. For the price and the time lost in line, make a reservation and enjoy good quality food elsewhere. Disappointed!
Breakfast
We queued for 20 min in the main line till i saw a much shorter queue for hotel members Very crowded mass market buffet, like breakfast at an army camp. Nothing good of note, the meats (beef and chicken) i had a bite of were all tough 5/10
Not Worth The Price
Crowded tables, but our service was good. Too much fried food and carbohydrates. The roast beef was tough as well as the roast pork. Limited selection of sea food. No oysters, clams or baked salmon. A one and half hour limited eating period which gives little time to enjoy your meal with friends or family. It's not worth the $65 per person not including tip. Better to go to a good restaurant and order quality food.
Horrible staff
Horrible place, staff are extremely rude and the floor manager is extremely unprofessional .. That’s not a way someone would treat their customers
Best gluten free food in Las Vegas
Outstanding selection for my celiac disease with so many gluten free options. All of the servers are so helpful and polite. The chefs were extremely cognizant about the gluten free options and would make anything that you wanted.
