yam'Tcha Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Superb Dining Experience
Excellent dining experience. Food was superb - no dish was reminiscent of any food we have encountered before. Service was top notch with many of the courses delivered by the chef herself who was most affable. We did tea pairings which complimented every course. Cannot recommend too highly.
Incredible Food, Even In The Opinion Of A Very Critical Taiwanese-American Diner
I dined at a lot of restaurants in Paris during my holiday. Some in the Michelin guide, but not starred, some not in the Michelin guide, and, of course, here at Yam'Tcha. There's something that sets a restaurant apart that earns them a Michelin star. There's a quality to the service, ambience, and cuisine; Yam'Tcha certainly deserves their star. I am Taiwanese-American and have a reputation among my friends that they should not invite me to an Asian restaurant unless it's so beyond reproach that I can't say a single bad thing about it. Or that they should be ready for me to pick it apart. haha Very happy to say that Yam'Tcha squarely fell in the former category. Everything was incredible from start to finish. All of the dishes were elevated takes on the dishes I grew up with. The mushroom toast, a play on shrimp toast, was gorgeous and I could have had five more. The sweet and sour lobster, sweet and sour being a dish that's oftentimes derided as "Americanized Chinese food" but is actually a beloved legit style, was beautiful. The desserts... the fruit soup with gelatinized mushroom was reminiscent of a childhood favorite, Xingren Dofu, a pantry recipe made usually with canned fruit cocktail and almond tofu. And the last bite, the delightfully delicate and soft mochi stuffed with cream and mango, immediately made me think of the staple Chinese bakery cakes made with sponge cream, and fresh fruits. I'm missing comments on the rest of the dishes, but everything was truly très magnifique. As someone that doesn't drink, the option of doing a tea pairing instead of wine was fantastic. Each tea brought out additional notes and depth in the dishes. The whole serving staff was fantastic as well and I am crestfallen that I didn't recognize Chef Adeline Grattard was a part of it while we were there. Merci beaucoup encore, xie xie xie xie, team at Yam'Tcha. J'ai très bien mangé and I can't wait to see what is on the menu the next time I visit.
A must do in Paris!
Stunning food and eclectic wine pairings make this a must visit ( as we do) every time in Paris. Each plate is an experience in its self, and often the combination surprises how the ingredients match each other. Take the matching wines, the selection is somewhat surprising in its selection, but spot on with each course.
Loved the experience. Lucky enough to meet the chef herself! Come with an open mind and you will be impressed
Loved the experience. Incredible hospitality from the chef herself(!), with genuine intention to connect with us as guests. Also has been extremely accommodative as we had to finish the menu within 1.5 hr and they did speed up for us. My wife and I enjoyed the top class meal, while some of the dishes really hits us hard with lots of nostalgia (as someone from Hong Kong and now working abroad). It really felt like home. I read from other reviews that the taste is polarizing. We fully understand that view as this restaurant serves a mixture of taste from the far east (to be specific, more towards Hong Kong or Guangdong / southern part of China). But come with an open mind, you will love it.

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

When it says working on bid, it means there are people looking to fill it.
