BabyStacks Cafe 2 - Spring Valley Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Man I used to love this place, but it has been downhill.
The portions are smaller they charge for every little thing like substituting potatoes for mushrooms. They should at least state it on the menu no substitutions or there's a fee. Pancakes still great but that's all. Talking of Fees, what really ticks me off the most is the CREDIT CARD Fees. I mean you already raise the price of your food and you still charge your customers Credit Card fees??? Ive been in the restaurant business for 25years and I would never do that to my customers. The fee might not be much but it's the Principle.

Yummm! I was in town this is always a must go for me! I went to the one a little further than the strip so it wasn't too busy. I got the tres leches pancakes and it was delicious. I loved how it was a perfect balance of flavors and wasn't supper sweet. Inside they have a good amount of tables and the workers were all very helpful and kind.

food - 10/10 CLEANED the corned beef! no wonder its one of the top items on the menu. came w the buttermilk pancakes. it was good but too full from the corned beef. sisig plate was good. too many onions but still good. CLEANED the ube oancakes that came with it tho. service was fast and got seated quickly even if it was packed on a saturday. ambiance was nice. i couldnt hear any other table speaking and we were by the window so lighting was nice
I like their pancakes but today I decided that I just can't
I like their pancakes but today I decided that I just can't go there anymore. This morning I sat at the counter. I ordered the Sunshine breakfast with eggs over medium. While waiting for the order I was greatly annoyed by the level of loud noise coming from the kitchen; Some sort of Latin Rap music, blasting loud and then behind me, the speakers in the ceiling they were broadcasting another sort of noise / song; Again Latino, same sort of beat, but a different song entirely. So collectively it was just loud noise to me. The eggs I ordered showed up over well done and actually crispy. I pointed the eggs out to the server and she did offer to have more eggs cooked, but I declined. I had wanted a nice peaceful breakfast and it wasn't happening for me there. I won't be back
The food was less than good.
My wife and i left nearly all of it behind. We tried basic buttermilk pancakes and veggie omelette. No flavor and too chewy. Only good thing was the drip coffee. Won't be back
Quality and flavor of the food from this location
Quality and flavor of the food from this location definitely went downhill. Let me start with the ordering process , I ordered pick up & it was very hard to understand the girl over the phone when it came to the choices I wanted. Then came to pick up, no hi how are you, just a do you need something? Secondly, the tip was already chosen for me so it's a good thing I looked and corrected it to my desired amount but I don't think that's okay especially to those who are in a rush and doesn't really check. Now the food. We got the country fried chicken with sunny sides and it lacks flavor like LACKS. We also got the BYO omelette and same with that, not much flavor as I remember and we use to go to this location years ago and I can confidently say that it went downhill. Pancakes are okay too not the best as I was expecting and we got the ube and banana cream. Service and food could have some improvements. We won't be coming again...at least to this location.
The Portuguese sausage with garlic rice is perfect.
Staff if friendly and quick. They are always busy on the weekends.
I knew we were in the right spot for a Filipino breakfast.
Babystacks is a bit off the Vegas strip but worth the trip for a really good diner where we ordered Adobo Omelettes, Pork Sisig garlic egg fried, and Ube pancakes - all soo good. I'll be back here the next time we're in the mood to come back and lose more money in Vegas.
The food is made fresh with fresh ingredients.
The red velvet pancakes were delicious, I love that the whipped cream was fresh, not the aerosol type that comes from a spray can. The bacon strips were perfect thickness, like I would make at home. My hashbrowns were cooked perfectly ( a lil crispy on the outside but soft on the inside). My husband's ceaser salad was made with fresh lettuce (not from a bag). Overall the customer service was great and the food fresh and well prepared. It's now going to be one of my top favorite breakfast spots. I highly recommend
I love going to Babystacks Cafe.
It's a great place to go to for some breakfast/brunch and I've never been disappointed with the foods. Not only was the food good, the service was good as well! I definitely recommend.
I'm sorry, this is not good.
Tastes like ihop or dennys food. Overcooked eggs, out-of-a-bag processed potatoes, burnt bacon. Wouldn't recommend. Try somewhere with fresh ingredients and home cooked stuff.
Absolutely terrible customer service, but food is good.
This morning my mom and I brought my toddler to have some breakfast. We are out-of-towners and were looking for a nice, fun breakfast and considering this restaurant had such great reviews we decided to try it. Unfortunately, I really, really wish we hadn't came here at all. To begin, we walked into a busy restaurant and one host quotes us 20 minutes. We're are fine waiting but I do notice a bunch of two top tables that are open. Like I said, it was just us and a high chair. We sit down to wait (not much a waiting space) and as we are sitting there at least 5 different parties of 2 come in and are sat right away. After repeatedly being skipped over we decided to voice that we are just two people and a high chair. But we were ignored. After another party of two came in, they were originally quoted 15 minutes but then all of a sudden they were immediately sat them. So I voiced to the host that we are 2 people and a high chair. This girl snaps at me and says that they were here before us (which was a lie, cause I just watched this whole interaction). She then, with a bunch of attitude, points at a dirty table and says I'm going to sit you there. It was childish and very inappropriate for her to behave like that. I'm not sure if you train your staff to act like that, but it is very unprofessional. It is absolutely ridiculous to be yelled at by your staff members, especially if we are coming to your establishment to enjoy ourselves. This restaurant either has very poor management and/or doesn't train their staff members properly. Which is very, very unfortunate because their food is good. Be better.

Kurryn acts like a Karennn, bobbing her head and talking to you as if she the owner. Excuse me lady be nice.
this place was MID.
i ordered the huntington skillet and it was alright- i added onions and im glad i did, because otherwise it was very bland. it came with a side of pico tho and i never added it because i truly didn't think it would compliment it... my husband got the loco moco and he said it was decent, they were generous with the gravy which was good. but otherwise it was ok. same with their service, they weren't terrible but not great- they didn't offer my husband a refill on his brewed coffee and never really checked on us after we got our meals. then finally, onto the main course we had to order, the pancakes. they were like mini pancakes, which i thought was perfect because i can never finish my pancakes! but upon eating them, i was very disappointed. they were not fluffy, and suuuper bland, like it came straight out of a box of pancake mix. this place was eh. probably won't go back ;/
