BlueBlood Steakhouse Toronto Reviews from The Last Year
Great selection of steaks cooked to perfection.
Ceaser salad hand mixed at your table. Cream of corn was wonderful, and steaks were out of this world. Shawn was our waiter and treated us first class. Splendid meal after finishing a tour of the Casa Loma castle.

We always want to try a good steakhouse whenever we travel, so this one was our number 1 choice in Toronto. The location was quite unique, being located in an old historic castle (Casa Loma). There is a large mandatory parking lot due to the no street parking around the area. *Reservations required here* We ordered the wagyu steakburger, 44 oz tomahawk, 12 oz of kobe steak (@ $40 cad per oz), side of creamed corn, and truffle potato gratin. All the food tasted delicious, especially the kobe steak, because it melted in your mouth- sooo good! The dry aged tomahawk was a little overcooked (we requested medium rare) & chewy but still yummy. The creamed corn was probably the best side I've ever had with steak, being extra sweet and very flavorful, truffle potato was good too. The burger was cooked to perfection with a pic of the castle+BB embossed on the bun, duck fat fries were okay. While the food was being prepared, we were able to take a tour of the castle, which was beautiful. The decor revolved around a princess and a prince theme. Food was quite pricey but worth it because we left happy and full. Not to mention, our server, Sergio, was absolutely amazing, making our experience even better!

This was the BEST dinner I've had in Toronto! The service was amazing and every server there was very attentive. The ambiance was great after a tour of Casa Loma. The Pink Drink also tasted great and wasn't too sweet. I would 100% return and was worth every penny!
The steaks are awesome, tender and nicely charred.
Definitely would recommend for special occasions
Waited to write this review after I gave it another chance.
Unfortunately my experience was consistently not great. The good: The lobster mac and cheese is really good but would recommend just getting it for take out. The baked Alaska is a great showstopper and presented in a fun way. The not so good: The service and the food here is a bit all over the place and not what you would expect for the prices you are paying. Definitely would not come here for a special occasion because it was disappointing for me each time.
Wish I could give them 0 stars
It pains me to leave this review because I have been one of the biggest advocates for this steakhouse since it opened… I even tried to get a hold of management and no one got back to me so here we are… I have a lot to say cause I paid , $1400 + $200 tip for an awful experience (5 adults , 2 kids) It was Valentine evening and I had special guests from oversees celebrating their 15 year anniversary so I invited everyone out for what I thought would be an spectacular evening … In days leading to our reservation , I had called 3 times asking to be placed anywhere except in the room with the raw fish bar and the loud kitchen! Sure enough we were seated right next to the kitchen where there was ton of staff foot traffic and the unpleasant sounds, shouting and yelling from the kitchen… After speaking to the staff we were moved to a different area… it seemed like a hall that was designed for a weddings with cheap plain white Banquet hall furniture and tables. This is where everything started to go downhill… We sat down and within 5 minutes ( keep in mind we have not even seen a menu or our server ) steaks and different food starts showing up to our table … We told the staff that we had not even seen the menu… with total confusion in their eyes the staff retreated. Our server ( young man) whom did not appear to have extensive experience greeted us however there was no chatter or recommendations , ( considering I made a point by telling him About the special occasion and my guests excitement for being here) There was zero attempts with explaining the menu and the variety of different aged meats and in house soeciality… basically here is the menu and what can I get you … not really an experience I had hyped my guests expect … We ordered some alcoholic drinks , bluebloods old fashion which is my personal fav… we had a 10 year old and a 12 year old kids at our table , funny enough they put one of the old Fashions in front of my 10 year old guest and the lemonade in front of his father… The awful experience continued when they brought the main courses , basically they put the wrong dishes in front of everyone… If I had to compare the experience it would have to be what I experienced when I visited Applebee’s for the first time 25+ years ago except the bill Was not $1600. I can’t say I would return in the near future considering Toronto offers many high end restaurant options with great service to match it.
Amazing steak house
What a lovely place. Good selection of steaks and wine. Carpaccio was good. The crab fritters were nice too. My Ribeye was perfectly done and the peppercon sauce was terrific. Pleasent service and that was a dinner pleasured.
How would you like to have your dessert flambéed
How would you like to have your dessert flambéed table-side? Dishes like the classic Caesar salad and the baked Alaska are finished table-side, giving its patrons the Royal treatment. BlueBlood Steakhouse offers a variety of steak cuts from around the world, including Wagyu from Mishima Reserve (U.S.A.), MB9+ (Australia), and A5 (Japan). The menu also features steak house classics, and seafood towers if you prefer. The Wagyu tasting menu includes all three types of Wagyu. Casa Loma was built in 1914 by Sir Henry Pellatt, a prominent Canadian financier and military officer. The castle was designed by E.J. Lennox, one of the most prominent architects in Toronto at the time. BlueBlood Steakhouse opened its doors in 2017.

In past years, this establishment was kept clean and the food was meticulously made with appetizing presentation when serving orders to the customers. This year for some reason the quality has gone totally down, the restaurant looks filthy (floors are littered with spilled stuff). In my opinion, it looks like management/ownership has changed since seeing such a drastic change. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone - don't waist your money! To boot, I had mentioned my allergy to the waitress and asked several times if the dish I had chosen was free green/orange/yellow peppers and she reassured me it was. I get served and my dish was full of pieces of pepper! Servings staff should be made familiar with the items on the menu or someone can have severe reactions! Hopefully, this review helps people to decide...
Charmed Dinner in Majestic Casa Loma
We felt very fortunate to get our reservation, as we only made it the night before. Every table in the restaurant was filled. All of the food (grilled octopus, gravlax, steak, of course (shared by 2), sushi-grade tuna, and a Wagyu steakburger) that we ate was amazing! And the attentive service from every staff member made us feel valuable and special. Finally, the piece de resistance was the Baked Alaska dessert. The menu says it serves 2, but our server was right to recommend that it was suitable for our party of 4. The presentation of its preparation was very memorable. Thanks for a wonderful evening out!
Great Restaurant, Amazing Food and Incredible Service
Beautiful restaurant, incredible food and the greatest service I’ve received in any restaurant. My wife and I have been fortunate to have travelled the world and enjoyed the services and hospitality of different countries, but Ramy upped every other service we’ve experienced. Thank you, Ramy. Your service, hospitality and knowledge of the food/menu are exemplary and should be the reference point for what great service is. Hope that the team and management group recognize the value of your work and kindness.
Restroom issue
Went to Blue Bloods Restaurant in Casa Loma. Our dinner bill for 6 was over $1000.00. Spending that kind of money and had to share a restroom with males and females is totally outrageous. Where is the courtesy of restrooms for females not wanting to share restrooms with males. Totally awkward putting on my lipstick with men walking through. They looked at us assuming we were in the wrong restroom. Even Mac Donald’s offers a male, female washroom. Not cool guys especially after spending all that money for a fancy dinner. This will be our first and last visit.

BlueBlood Steakhouse at Casa Loma is an absolute gem that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance of Casa Loma, the historic ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The highlight of my evening was undoubtedly the Rib Eye, a succulent 18oz masterpiece sourced from Guelph, Ontario. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a symphony of flavor and tenderness. The service was exceptional, with the staff embodying professionalism and attentiveness without being intrusive.
This is the most amazing steakhouse experience.
We had such an amazing time during our dining experience . Our server did an amazing job helping us pick our meals and answering questions about the menu. We also worked with the sommelier who did a great job helping us pick a wine that would work with all the meals we ordered. The steakhouse venue is so cool and interesting. Definitely, take a few minutes to at least walk through the first floor. The dining room is really cool too. The woodwork is very detailed and beautiful. My ribeye steak was perfect. The Wagyu steak by the ounce was absolutely perfect. We all enjoyed our cocktails and wine. If you are in Toronto definitely make a reservation and enjoy a very special meal here.

What a great experience!! The ambiance (Casa Loma, get a tour if you have time!) was amazing and the Prince painting on the wall was awesome! The food was outstanding and Gio and Emily took very good care of us. I would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are in Toronto. Ask for the table side Caesar, you will not be disappointed!!
Good as a “one time” experience…
Ambience was lovely - interesting location to try once! Food was delicious but not worth the price they charged. Service was immaculate - very attentive to our needs. Great suggestions when ordering. We were seated in the dining room where the main bar was located and there was a wedding being celebrated in the other hall not offering inclusive bar service so everyone was spending time at the bar so it was extremely noisy and loud. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk and the waiters had to repeat everything several times. It’s nice as a one time visit as it is unique dining in a castle but I wouldn’t recommend going back. Didn’t see any handicapped/wheelchair accessibility - way to many stairs and poor lighting. Daytime dining suggested for slightly visually impaired customers.
Toronto’s Special Occasion Adult Dining Experience
Absolute best restaurant in Toronto! Impeccable service, fantastic outdoor view of Toronto Skyline, Delicious dinner, cocktails and desserts. BlueBlood Steakhouse is a high-end special occasion nightspot. While we saw a few young children, I would recommend an adults only night out. We enjoyed relaxing pre-dinner cocktails, a variety of entrees with shareable family style side dishes and several desserts. Everything was well prepared and delicious. For a night to remember, be sure to take your special someone to BlueBloods
Not at all worth the price
It's fine. Which is not what you should be expecting with the price tag that comes with this dinner. I honestly just expected more. We had the braised beef ravioli which kind of tasted like canned beef soup. The seafood "tower" had 4 oysters, a lobster tail cut in half, meager little claw a couple shrimp and a single crab leg halfed to share. I guess you're paying for the atmosphere?
This restaurant is located in Casa Loma.
We Ubered there from the hotel. The restaurant is a part of Casa Loma. Lots of dark wood and very elegant decorations. Service is superb from the time you walk in. The hostesses were very friendly and promptly seated us. Our server, Andy, was very welcoming and did a fine job making recommendations for cocktails in addition to explaining the specials. His attentiveness was stellar and he was seated with a few other tables too. We both ordered Canadian sources filets and they were cooked to the proper doneness. The sides we ordered were excellent. The truffled au gratin potatoes were amazing. We decided to get dessert and we were glad we did. We went with their apple pie. The slice was large enough to share. The pie was ridiculously good! It came with vanilla ice cream on the side. The dessert was worth the food coma. Word of warning: this place is expensive. Even with the positive exchange rate against the Canadian dollar, this meal will set you back. Figure about $150 per person with tax & tip. If you get a bottle of wine or have more than one cocktail, that amount will quickly rise. We went for our anniversary. For a special occasion in the Toronto area, it was an excellent choice.
Fine dinning, great atmosphere
We ate on the terrace on a perfect Summer evening. Charming! The food was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The Caesar salad prepared at table side was show, but also excellent.
Fantastic experience
To start with the location is fabulous, as for the food fantastic we had the wagyu and bone-in ribeye steaks fantastic. Even the side dishes were perfectly prepared. A bit on the pricey side. but I guess you pay for the ambiance (the castle) all in all fantastic...

The experience of dining here plays a huge factor in my rating. It's a castle, so everything looks and feels like royalty. You're treated like a special guest from the moment you walk in. We had reserved an outdoor pod for some privacy and it's nice, as you're able to enjoy the weather while still being a little more tucked away. For appetizers, we had the steak tartare in bone marrow canoe and it was an interesting dish. It did look pretty cool and I've never had something like it. It tasted pretty good but I probably wouldn't order it again. I also had a caesar salad; I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get it because their menu says minimum of two people and my boyfriend can't eat caesar salads, but that is just for the tableside caesar. I was surprised by how much I could taste the anchovy flavour in the salad. It tasted fresh, and was a nice twist to your classic caesar salad. I was already getting full at this point so I opted to just order the lobster mac as my main and my boyfriend had the 12oz strip loin. The lobster mac, I had high hopes for - I LOVE mac and cheese so I thought this was sure to be a hit. But it was such a huge let down. It tasted so fishy, the sauce was watery and not cheesy at all, and the taste was just bad. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak, though, so I guess there's that. We had written that it was our anniversary so they kindly gave us two champagne glasses on the house. Our server was really lovely; he gave us a little tour of the castle (the parts that he was allowed to show us) after our meal and gave us some fun history facts. We got to take a look at the garden (there was a separate event happening so couldn't actually walk in) and of course, the iconic view from the terrace. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit for the views and getting to visit the castle. But I wasn't wow'ed by the food.
BlueBlood restaurant provided an unforgettable dining
BlueBlood restaurant provided an unforgettable dining experience with a delectable array of dishes that included mouthwatering Tenderloin steak, refreshing Blueblood salad, and succulent prawns--all beautifully presented with high-quality ingredients. The awe-inspiring city view added a touch of magic to the warm ambiance, making it a truly delightful setting. What made the evening truly exceptional was our server, Gio, whose passion and knowledge shone through as he guided us through our choices with attentive recommendations, making us feel pampered throughout the meal. Gio's exceptional service and the overall experience have left an indelible mark, ensuring that we will eagerly return to BlueBlood restaurant for more memorable moments like these.

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.

Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
